Chapter 3: When an angel misses a demon
The passionate kiss seemed to last forever. Yuiko never wanted to break away from her velvety lips again, to feel the feeling in her stomach forever. But suddenly a strange feeling twitched through her body and the deep voice of the Lord penetrated her ear.
Come back, Yuiko ...
Her eyes widened and her heart was beating faster immediately. Did he notice something? The Eye of the Almighty saw much, but not everything.Frightened, the angel released the kiss and literally looked at Sakura at the confusion.
"What is it? Did I do something wrong?" The demoness asked hesitantly, still feeling the slight tingling on her lips that the kiss had caused.
"N-no ...", Yuiko stuttered and panic rose in her. Inwardly, she tried to calm down.
// His voice didn't sound angry. Maybe he didn't notice anything ... //
"Sorry, I can't stay! My Lord is calling me!", She announced and was about to open the gondola when Sakura grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him.
"Now of all times you want to leave me?" Had Yuiko seen a tear shine in her eye?
"Don't go!", Sakura breathed pleadingly and hugged her. Maybe it was a mistake to show the angel her feelings, but she just couldn't help it. In just such a short time she had found someone she was attracted to ... and now that someone had to leave her again.Yuiko would have loved to hug her and have enjoyed her hug longer, but the fear that her master might notice something did not leave her in peace.
"It ... it doesn't work, Sakura. I have to go back to heaven.", She said softly and pushed the demon away from her.
Sad, but also slightly annoyed, Sakura looked at her angel and breathed bitterly:
"Why does your master always have to break everything?"
She thought of the long time she had lived in paradise. All the happy hours before her new master entered her life ... His poisonous words rang in her ear again. She had let herself be blinded and was now on the dark side.
At such moments she believed in what Lucifer said. God was unjust and a troublemaker to be eliminated.
The blue-haired woman couldn't find an answer and she felt a little hurt when Sakura criticized her master.
"He won't break it ..." she replied quietly, her eyes shining sadly. Before she could say anything else, the older woman raised her hand and let it fall silent. Apparently she didn't feel like talking about it. The conversation was over.
Yuiko silently looked at the young demon woman and forgot that she was supposed to go.
// She stole my first kiss ... shouldn't it belong to someone who means something to me? Or does it mean something to me? // Questions about questions, but no answers.
There was something depressing about the atmosphere. Sakura looked hurt out of the window of the gondola and avoided any eye contact with her.
She got up slowly and feverishly wondered what to say. Goodbye? Goodbye But Sakura got ahead of her.
"Shall we meet again?", Came her lovely voice and she sounded so incredibly hopeful, but also hurt. This brought tears to Yuiko's eyes.
"Yes ..." she whispered and had to pull herself together not to throw herself into her arms.
"Tomorrow ... at the same time ... on the ghost train.“Without waiting for confirmation, she opened the gondola door and jumped out. She spread her wings and flew towards the clouds. The wind blew away the tears that had flowed from her eyes shortly after she jumped Sakura hadn't told her she was coming - she knew she was going to appear.
It took the demon a while to realize her words.
//Tomorrow? In the ghost train? At the same time? // Confused, she sat down on the seat and ran her hand over her forehead.
She closed her eyes and reminded her of the bright blue eyes of the angel.
// I'll be there, Yuiko.//
How good that none of the inhabitants of Hell saw her now, because one would certainly have laughed at a smiling demon.

With his heart pounding excitedly, Yuiko entered the great hall of the Lord. Her guilty conscience plagued her, making her hands shake nervously.
"You called to me, Almighty?"she asked, kneeling down.
"Come here, my favorite angel, since when do you have to get on your knees in front of me?" Replied God and held out his hand to her.
The girl had completely forgotten that in her excitement. Reluctantly, she took the hand of the Lord and let him pull her closer.
"Yes, I called you because I want to introduce you to someone.", He answered her question with a smile. Something was wrong with his angel, but he decided to talk to her about it later.
Yuiko looked at him curiously.
"Who do you want to introduce me to?"
The gentleman nodded to the guards who guarded the entrance to his hall. Immediately the door swung open in the doorstep a male angel appeared, white and innocent, with pleasantly shining blue eyes that were as profound as Yuiko's.
Surprised, the girl looked at the Almighty, who just continued to smile.
"Who is this?"
"This is Laariel.", God whispered in her ear and his watchful eyes wandered to the angel who appeared, who stepped closer and bowed."I want you to take care of him, Yuiko. I trust you the most of all angels."
The blue-haired woman looked at her master in surprise. Should you take care of him?
"Don't leave him alone, Yuiko. He has suffered enough already. Only a pure soul like you can help him." He continued and his words had something of bitterness.
"What happened to him, sir?", Yuiko asked and looked at the newcomer sadly. For a while she had forgotten about her problem. It was the angel's way of caring for and taking care of others. However, the prospect that she could no longer leave his side was anything but pleasant. How was she supposed to meet Sakura like that?
"He doesn't talk much about it. He doesn't talk very much in general, my angel.", God said sadly and stroked Yuiko's hair.
"Maybe he's telling you more than me. To be honest, I hope so. He's been in the underworld for some time, and he's certainly been in dire agony.Unfortunately, I do not know more either."
It was like a painful stab in the heart, because when her master uttered the word 'underworld', all her thoughts immediately wandered to the beautiful demoness who had turned her head.
"Yes, sir. I'll take care of him.", She promised and stepped towards Laariel.
Yahweh smiled after her and knew that he had chosen the right angel for Laariel's company. As she walked across the hall towards the former prisoner of hell, it occurred to him that he actually wanted to ask her something.
"Yuiko ...? Are you okay?"
The blue-eyed woman froze. Did he notice something ?! She turned slowly and tried to smile as charmingly as possible.
"Of course, sir. I was just afraid that something might be wrong and you called me about it."
The gentleman nodded and then got up too.
"I understand. But should something ever happen, my angel, then you can always come to me.", he said and then went to his premises.
"I know.", Yuiko said curtly and swallowed the big loo in her throat.
To stop thinking about it, she turned her attention to Laariel.
"I'm Yuiko and as you heard, I'll take care of you now.", She said good-naturedly and held out her hand to him. Hesitantly he took her hand and you could tell that he was impressed by her manner. There was no smile on his lips, however, and she only received a nod in agreement.
"Come with me, I'll show you a place that you will like.", She said with a smile and pulled him out of the hall.
His astonished eyes looked around this beautiful landscape and you could see the enthusiasm in him.
"Well, you see? I told you you would like it.", Yuiko said satisfied and flew over the blooming meadow. You could find every imaginable flower here, whether winter or summer flower.
Laariel's gaze fell on a rose, as if in a trance. But it wasn't an ordinary rose, it was a Christmas rose. It was expressing everything he felt right now. He walked slowly towards the flower, plucked it and handed it to Yuiko, hoping she would know the language of the flowers.
The girl took the rose in astonishment and thanked her.
"Wow, that's really nice ..." She looked into his deep eyes and realized that he wanted to express something with this gesture.
But before she could say anything, he spoke for the first time, in a hurt but pleasant voice.
"Take away my fear. The Christmas rose stands for this sentence."
Yuiko's mouth fell open, stunned. Amazed that he had spoken, amazed that he knew the language of flowers, and amazed that he had chosen this particular plant.
Before she could reply, he held out another flower. Her heart stopped for a moment because she knew that meaning.
Edelweiss.You are beautiful.
The angel girl narrowed her eyes and called Sakura in front of her inner eye.How should she explain that to him? Her heart belonged to a demon who lived in hell. Where he had suffered so much pain.
She couldn't answer him. So she decided to distract him with a question. But she did not believe that he answered her.
"How did you manage to escape?"
Laariel's eyes widened and he bowed his head. No, there was no way he could answer that. She wouldn't believe him anyway. It was worth a try, though, because this angel was ... different.
"They helped me. As unbelievable as it sounds, a demon helped me ..." he whispered and glanced at her so as not to think about the cruel days in
