The letter

He sat down at the desk and began to write:

Dear Agumon

I'm sorry about what has happened between us lately. I didn't mean to hurt you like that on purpose. It was more about not dragging you into my problems. I didn't want you to be the same as I am. I had so many problems during that time, and they all came in a row, that I was no longer able to deal with them. That's why I avoided you and the others. I wanted to deal with my problems all by myself. Unfortunately, I had to find out that I couldn't do that and that's why I finally decided to leave. Please don't be angry with me about this. But I need time to get my life back in order. And that's why I ask you not to look for me or to run after me. It's better for both of you when we don't see each other anymore. At least not for a certain period of time.
