Chapter 1: Christmas - the festival of love

Christmas, the festival of love, should be exactly that for Nyoko. Kai had pulled her close and made no move to let go of her again. Suddenly you could hear steps, they came closer and closer and Nyoko pushed Kai away, because she already had an idea where the steps were coming from.

"What is it?" Asked Kai, I got up and a moment later Kimiko stood in the doorway. "Kimi, are you okay?", Nyoko asked worriedly. She nodded: "I woke up from the doorbell and wanted to see who came." Only now did she notice Kai sitting on the sofa. She made a confused face and suddenly her eyes widened: "That's the boy who was here with his grandpa before, right?" "Yes, Kai:" I answer her with a smile. "And why is he there, does he have to celebrate Christmas alone?", Kimiko walked slowly to him." He ... well ... um ... ", I was looking for the right words." Yes, I would have to celebrate Christmas alone, so I thought I would come to visit you both. ", Kai smiled at Kimiko, he was so different from the way I met him. He's different since he showed up here. Kimiko sat down next to Kai on the sofa and grinned to himself." Oh, that occurs to you I also have a present, my little one. ", Kai stood up, disappeared for a moment and then came back with a package that he gave Kimiko. Before she opened it, she looked at him questioningly and said:" Is Nyoko not getting a present? "" Don't worry, she already got hers. ", Kai smiled in my direction. I blushed at his words." I'll go get something to drink quickly, a moment. "I disappeared into the kitchen, embarrassed." Did he mean that seriously? ", I asked myself and had to laugh," That's really cute, I wouldn't have thought that. ", I was really happy about it.I put everything I gathered on a tray with which I then went over. I stopped in the doorway and watched Kai having fun with Kimiko. I shook my head so as not to completely sink into my thoughts, went into the living room and set the tray down on the table. "What do you want ...", I froze at the ringing of the doorbell. I ran to the intercom and turned on the video. I waited until the picture appeared and saw a group of people I knew very well standing in the cold. At the sight of her I had to laugh and pushed the opener without hesitation. "We're getting visitors!" I called in the direction of the living room and Kai appeared with Kimiko in tow. At the sight of her I had to stop laughing because Kai carried Kimiko on his back. “What are you doing there?” “Kai is my reindeer!” Laughed Kimiko. Kai just smiled crookedly at me and asked: “Who is it?” “Our friends!” I opened the door and everyone was standing in front of it: “Merry Christmas!"So we celebrated this Christmas after all. I brushed all worries away and even Kimiko seemed to be having fun. We both could forget for a short time what shadow had drawn over us.
A few hours later the celebration was as good as over. Kimiko had fallen asleep on the sofa, Tyson was sitting on a chair (hanging is more suitable for XD) and snoring, which was interrupted again and again by eating sounds, Daichi wrestled with a bear or something similar while half asleep, Kai sat in the armchair with his eyes closed and crossed arms, Max, Ray, Kenny and Hilary played a game of Human Don't Get Angry and Tala and Yuri were as if swallowed by the ground. The whole room was quiet, save for Tyson's and Daichi's sleep noises. I sighed in relief as I put the last things in the kitchen. "And is it really okay if we all stay here tonight?" Hilary asked me from the table. "Of course, the house has enough rooms for everyone," I grinned back, "But now I have to get the little one into her bed first."I looked at Kimiko and was about to pick her up when someone put his hand on my shoulder." I'll carry her for you. ", Kai took his hand down and picked up Kimiko, I couldn't even react. I went up the stairs and down the hallway, finally I stopped in front of the room, opened the door and took a step to the side Kai to make room. He carried her in, I followed and pulled the door, but I didn't let it fall into the lock. When Kimiko lay in bed I put the covers over her. Suddenly the curtains were drawn, which had been up until now stood open. I was shocked at the noise and found myself a moment later on the floor. "Ouch, you Kai don't scare me like that. "I whispered over to him. Nothing came back, but suddenly I was pulled upstairs and I finally found myself in Kai's embrace." Thanks Kai! "I whispered to him and put my arms around him too." What for?"It came back just as quietly." For carrying Kimiko up. ", but in my mind I add something:" And for being with me. "When we were back downstairs, Yuri and Tala were suddenly sitting in the room again. Yuri grinned at me when I entered the room followed by Kai." Tell me, Nyoko, it might be possible that we at least move Tyson and Daichi to another room, the snoring and babbling is no longer bearable. ", Hilary wailed and looked at me pleadingly.
An hour later Tyson and Daichi were relocated, everyone had a room to sleep in and I was still sitting at my window and watching the snowflakes falling from the sky outside.

Oh, I really didn't think that I would write on so quickly, at first I had anyway whether I should continue writing because I really had no idea how it would go on, but then a gut feeling told me: "Just leave it depend on!"And so I'll just continue to write.
