Well it's just a Kappi for in between. That came to mind spontaneously earlier when I was reading the new volume from SDC (I'm not doing any advertising here!).
Still a lot of fun, even if it's short.

Chapter 9: Ruri's Love

Somehow Kai managed to keep in touch with me unnoticed. Even if it mostly only happened through letters. I never knew myself how they got to him and then found their way back, how it worked that was Ruri's secret. Yes, Ruri, she was strange, but a very good friend I think without her I would not have survived the first few weeks, but she had enough grief herself.

It was raining outside, a real storm was raging. I tried to pass the time somehow because we had weekends and therefore no school. The weather had been so bad for hours that it wasn't even possible to leave the building, so we were almost locked in. "Oh man, I'm about to be bored," Ruri whined and began to pace up and down the room."You can never rest either, can you?", Her manner annoyed me sometimes and this time it was that time again. She sat down on the desk chair she pulled up: "It's not so easy for me to just sit down and think of my darling." With that she embarrassed me, was it not normal to think about the person, that you love? Actually already! "I can't change it either, but then you don't have to make me nervous!" I got up annoyed and disappeared. This time I wanted to do something for Ruri and prepared a little surprise. A little later I called for Ruri and waited for her at the telephone station. I talked to the person on the other end until they finally showed up and finally said goodbye with: “Ah, she is there!” I held the receiver out to Ruri. "What am I supposed to do with that?" She asked, puzzled. "Don't ask, just take it!" I pressed the receiver into her hand and watched her hold it to her ear. "Moshimoshi *!", she spoke into the phone and a moment later her eyes opened, her face began to shine and a smile spread over her face.

You wonder who that was on the phone? Her beloved treasure, whom she missed so much that she has not yet dared to call him.

* Moshimoshi = greeting phrase on the phone, you already know what I'm talking about, right ?!
