"Riku! Riku! Open the door!"

Sora's voice was muffled through the door, and Riku put the picture he'd been looking at back on the dresser.

"What do you want?" He asked as he opened the door.

"Riku ... look! A letter - from King Mickey!"

Indeed - when Riku picked up the letter, he immediately noticed Micky's seal.

“Read! Read!” Sora hopped up and down impatiently. Although he was eighteen now, he hadn't really gained any maturity. On the other hand, that was what made him so lovable. Nevertheless, it often happened that a completely exasperated Kairi showed up at Riku's and rattled his ears for hours about how childish Sora was ...

"A subpoena? ... He has ... a mission for us ...?"

Sora nodded excitedly. "Finally another ADVENTURE! Cid is just getting the rubber jet afloat again, I'll go and see how far it is already!"Laughing, Sora jumped off.

Kairi, not him, but Sora had chosen ... the darkness ...

And now this calm should be destroyed.
Riku would definitely come along, Sora was his best friend and hadn't given up on him even when Riku was ready to kill him.And he had King Mickey to thank for his salvation too. Without Sora and his keyblade ... Riku sighed and followed Sora.

Good old Cid ... In three more days he got the gumi jet back on the road, and so they were on their way to King Mickey's palace. Everyone looked excitedly through the windshield as the huge, colorful building loomed in front of them. Sora parked the rubber jet in the paved square in front of the entrance and they got out.

Kairi, who insisted on coming along, got out first. For the past few years she had insisted that Sora and Riku teach her magic. She was probably fed up with just being a spectator. To the great surprise of Riku and Sora, she had developed incredibly strong magic after a very short time, probably because she was still one of the princesses of hearts ... And now she was so good that neither Riku nor Sora could teach her anything .Her gaze wandered over the playful decorations and the animal-shaped bushes and she sighed happily. "I love this place," she mumbled cheerfully and walked up the steps with Sora hand in hand.

Leon and Riku followed them a little more leisurely, with Yuffie jumping out of the jet last. Cid waved after them and closed the hatch. While the others were busy, he wanted to do a few final repairs on the jet.

"My friends! You will now know the reason why I have called you all here." He waved his hand and a holographic image appeared in the high hall. It was the universe; their solar system was clearly visible, Riku could name some worlds exactly.

"A month ago a new world appeared, and at the same time Heartless and Nobody suddenly appeared everywhere. The keyholes reopen one after the other ... There must be some connection. Yes, Kairi?"

Kairi had raised his hand."Your Majesty. What is the name of this world?"

The king smiled. "Kaze no Getsu."

"The wind moon ..." Riku muttered.

"You will fly over there and find out what is happening there. And I am sure you can help the people there. Obviously the most powerful heartless show up there ..."

He listed a few other worlds endangered by the Heartless, then mentioned the outstanding achievements they had all made three and four years ago. Riku accepted the praise somewhat embarrassed, since he had been on the wrong side most of the time and had only fought with Sora towards the end.

"Well, I can only emphasize once again that I wish you all the luck in the world. You have my fullest confidence. And in support -"

The small door at the entrance to the hall swung open unnoticed.

"Sooora!"
"Sowa!"

"Donald? Goofy ?!"

The two ran up to Sora and embraced him. Laughing, Sora shook it off and turned to Goofy."That is the support?" Micky nodded smiling and Sora performed a little joy dance with Goofy and Donald. Kairi was about to sigh in annoyance when the two of them hugged her too and she had to laugh too.

Immediately afterwards they pounced on Riku. Donald buried his face in his ribs; Goofy was just almost the same size as him. Now that he was nineteen, Riku didn't grow any more, of course, but in the last few years he had had a real growth spurt and was more than a head taller than Sora and Kairi.
Embarrassed, Riku smiled and straightened his white shirt again so that he wore plain black trousers.

"So - get on your way, friends!"
