Akaya was standing in front of the door when the hands on his watch jumped to midnight. He had been looking for Renji for hours, but without success. It was more than strange for Kung Kung to be separated from him for so long that the little devil felt slightly uncomfortable. His index finger was just getting closer to the bell when he remembered that he had a key with him that Rangiku gave him some time ago. He suddenly started laughing and finally unlocked the door in front of him.
* Flashback I *
Akaya was standing in the kitchenette and had organized something to eat when he heard quick steps clearly approaching.
"Akaya, what happened? Was there a break-in?"
He chewed on his food with relish and looked at Rangiku's frightened face: "How did you break in?"
"Well, the door, kicked in completely, who else does that?"
"Oh, you mean that! Well, I had to come in somehow.", He grinned triumphantly.
"Damn, it was you? What are you thinking? Now I need a new door, you idiot because of you!", Rangiku was beside himself.

* Flashback II *
"Here!", The brown-haired woman held a key in front of his nose.
"What is that?" He asked, pissed off.
"What does it look like? A key so you don't break the door on me again. And woe to you lose it!"
* Flashback II end *
He was now in the apartment. Everything around him was dark, but he was sure that Rangiku was there, maybe she happened to know where Renji was hanging around. He took off his shoes and padded to Rangiku's room. He reached for the doorknob, pushed it down, and suddenly threw the door open. It was just as dark in the room as in the other rooms.
"Akaya, is that you? I told you to knock before you come in, no matter what time!", She sounded pretty annoyed.
"It's too late now anyway, but while you're already awake I can light up for a moment.", he groped for the light switch.
"Akaya wait ...", but too late, the lamp on the ceiling was already lighting up the whole room.
What the black-haired man saw made him fold down the feed hatch. The silver-haired Bashaa Niou was sitting on the bed, clearly topless, and on top of him was the witch, apparently a little more tightly clad than the person below her, in other words only in half of her underwear.
"Yo, Akaya!", Masaharu laughed at him and waved casually.
"Baka!", The brown-haired woman whispered and grabbed the shirt, which was lying a few meters more pus on the bed. She put it on and stood up when she buttoned it lightly.
"Well, what is it?" She snapped at him lightly.
"I just wanted to ask if you know where Renji is, but I think I'm very inconvenient right now."
"Inconvenient? Oh, no, not a bit." Masaharu replied very sarcastically. Rangiku laughed: "Yes, of course! But no, I don't know where he is, from where ?!"
"Well then, sorry for disturbing you. I'll probably have to come up with something else." He turned off the light and you could hear him closing the door behind him.
"Oi, now we have probably scared him!", Laughed the silver-haired man, "Now he won't just burst in like that anymore, so let's continue where we were interrupted.", Although it was pitch dark in the room, she could see, that he put on his typical mischievous grin.
"You mean starting from scratch?"
"You didn't have to put on your shirt because of me," he said reproachfully and pulled her closer to him.
"Not everyone has to know what is usually under my clothes, you know?"
"Hai, hai!", He laughed and started to work on the shirt buttons again.
The same day, but a few hours earlier.
Renji was back from his errands on the way to Yagyuu's apartment, where he was currently staying.
Suddenly a somewhat feminine sounding voice called after him: "Yanagi, hisashiburi!"The brown-haired man turned to look at the voice and, to his astonishment, found two people. He knew both of them from his youth, for quite a while now and that is probably more than an understatement at this point. The smaller of the two had a girlish face and purple hair, the larger one looked very serious and wore a black cap to match his hair color.
"What a coincidence, that will meet you here!", Laughed the purple-haired man and held out his hand to him.
"There are no coincidences, Yukimura, everything is predetermined!" Others suddenly grumbled unexpectedly.
So the unexpected reunion led to an even more unexpected dinner with a long and extensive chat about old, new and other times until late into the night.
Akaya knocked loudly on the door: "Rho-chan I know that you are awake, let me in!"
Nothing happened.
"Rho-chan do it!", He groaned and suddenly it opened with a low but clear squeak. There was no one in the entrance, as Akaya would have expected, but he entered without hesitation.
"Oi, Rho-chan, where are you?" He asked into the darkness. Again he got no answer.
"Well, now it's really not funny anymore. Come out, I want to ask you something!"
"What's up?", Some candles suddenly went on, not only in the entrance area, but also in the other rooms of the apartment.
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!", Akaya was shocked violently when Rhode suddenly seemed to fall from the ceiling, to be precise she was hanging upside down.
"What are you doing up there?" He blinked confused.
"Nothing special.", She let herself fall down and landed skillfully on her feet again, "So what do you want?"
"Do you have any idea where Yanagi is?"
"No, I'm not his babysitter, but maybe I know ...", she was suddenly interrupted by the ringing of a phone.
She pulled a cell phone out of her pocket: "Just a moment!"She took the call," Moshi moshi? "and rolled her eyes at the person on the other end," You again? Didn't I tell you not to call me all the time. ", she hung up again.
"What was that?", Akaya asked surprised.
"Ask your annoying Bogie, he just can't leave me alone!", She answered annoyed.
"Okay, but you wanted to say something else."
"Oh exactly, have you asked Ran yet?"
"Of course! And I would have been better off if I hadn't." He stuck out his tongue in disgust.
"Why? Did you hit something again?"
"No, that would have been a great pleasure."
"Now I want to know."
"There is no way I will talk about it!", Akaya took a step back.
"You make me curious. Talk or I'll suck you off!" Threatened the girl in front of him.
"No, you won't suck anyone here!"
"Oh yes, unless you talk!", Rhodes eyes suddenly sparkled red.
"You want to make me really mad." Akaya suddenly grumbled.
"No, but I want to know what happened.", She grinned angrily.
"I don't want to talk about that right now!" He hissed.
"Then I'll have to force it out of you. Or wait, was Niou-san there by any chance?"
"How do you come up with it now?" He would have expected this question as the very last question.
"Oh come on, that's really clear what's going on!", Laughed Rhode and waved her left hand briefly.
"You knew that?", The little devil's eyes widened.
"Not officially, but I'm not stupid after all.", She stuck out her tongue.
The phone ripped Rangiku out of bed. She reached for the cordless device on the bedside table: "Rangiku here."
"Hello Rangiku, this is Renji. We have to call a meeting as soon as possible," he said from the other end of the line.
"Ah, all right. And when did you think about that?"
"Right away!"
"You're kidding it's just ... Wait a minute, what time is it anyway?"She looked at the alarm clock on the bedside table, which was reading 12:24.
"Please come to Yagyuu with the others, we will wait for you there." With these words he hung up again.
"What is that supposed to mean? Why always me?", She would have liked to slam the phone on the nearest wall.
"What's going on again?", Masaharu asked sleepily next to her.
"We have to go to a meeting."
"When?"
"Now!"
"You're funny.", He pulled her back down into the pillow and blanket landscape.
"I am completely serious."
He blinked annoyed: "Well, then we have no choice."
The two got ready and Rangiku wanted to wake Akaya, who should sleep on the sofa like every evening and probably just spent his boredom watching TV. When she entered the living room she found it empty.
"Where has he gone again?", The brown-haired woman put a hand on her hip and dialed a number on the phone that she had in her hand again.
She contacted the others who belonged to the Tribunal of 9 and then found out from Rhode that Akaya was with her. So one less problem, because she didn't have to look for the little devil again.
Half an hour later everyone had arrived at the meeting point, the only one missing was Renji.
"Where is he?", Bunta chewed as always on one of his apple-green chewing gum and made himself comfortable. Jackal sat next to him, Rhode as far away as possible and Akaya stared angrily at Rangiku, who had taken over the part of host for Yagyuu and now distributed filled glasses to those present.
"Are you okay?", She held out a glass of Coke to the black-haired man.
"I'm drawn for life, but otherwise ...", he puffed his cheeks, insulted.
She put one on him: "It's your own fault!"
"Ouch!", He let go and then rubbed the back of his head, "But a warning would have been nice!"
"What warning? This is my apartment and I can do whatever I want there!"she snapped at him.
The two gave each other a proper battle of words with beautiful, adult expressions and the whole thing in an increasingly pleasant volume.
"What's his problem?", Jackal asked curiously and looked at how the two would go to each other's throats soon, either to kill each other or only halfway.
"Oh yes, you haven't been around long enough to know Jack-kun, but Ran-chan ...", Bunta began knowingly when he was interrupted.
"Say it and you're a head shorter bogie, that doesn't give a shit about you, you understand ?!", Rangiku glared at him and had already brought her fingers on her right hand into the position she always took when she conjured
