Quiet days followed, almost too quiet. What did they mean?
Rangiku tore his brain to pieces with all the questions and questions that popped up in her skull and never went away.
Akaya had laughed at her because he thought she was causing too much problems for herself, after all, he was invincible anyway.
At that moment the young witch really wondered what she had done to him, but well, it was her decision and because of her brother she wouldn’t change it anytime soon.
Ah what was it about? She shook her head as she sat in her office, tapping the pad with the pen.
Damn it, the idea of how to get ahead of her opponent occurred to her, but she didn't like playing the bait too much, on the contrary.
She discarded her idea and went back to work.
The limousine rolled over the tarred surface that was intended for it.
It was quiet in the car, the only thing you could hear was the engine and other noises the vehicles were making.
Rangiku held the drink back from tearing the minibar out of its holder and hitting her skull against it until it could no longer be saved. Who got the damned idea that they could fool their opponents by giving in and covering up the ambush they were going to lay on them? Sure, she'd thought of it too, but damn it, damn it, damn it ... why the hell had she let herself be persuaded to do this? Otherwise she was such a thick head.
It was now too late to think about it, now it was too late anyway, the plan was in full swing and would continue to be carried out.
"You know, Ore-sama is really happy that you came to your senses after all.", The lilac-haired grinned satisfied.
"I hope you don't suspect anything!", Rangiku thought and acted as best she could with a satisfied smile: "Yes, I just have to think further than just about the next few months and that can't work with such a bunch of chaos."Less than an hour later they arrived at their destination: one of the most expensive onsen resorts the area had to offer. Extravagant, overpriced, 5 stars, everything that would make an Atobe heart beat faster. Normally! Because Rangiku's heart was beating so hard in her chest just at the thought that something could go wrong that she couldn't even think of all these little special details that her travel destination had to offer.
The meeting of the "Blue Order", as the group to which her brother belonged was called, should take place the next day, until then they would be able to "enjoy" the onsen in peace. The money bag only had to lie down on lazy skin again, that was all.
Her feeling got worse when she moved into her room, but now she would only be able to wait and see.
"Woaaah, kakkoi, what a mega-part!" Akaya shouted as he got out of the little rental car that Renji drove. The elder said nothing and neither did Sanada and Yukimura, who came with them, utter a word. Another car drove up and the entire crew climbed out immediately. "You are too slow, I want to go to the onsen!" Akaya announced like a small child on his first vacation. If Rangiku saw him like that she would just laugh and think that she had just imagined it or that it could only have been a dream. But Rangiku wasn't there, it was in the hands of their enemies, even if they hadn't even seen half of them in person. Thanks to their connections and information, however, they knew who they were looking for, which of course was not the reason why they remained undetected by the other side.
Of course, they wouldn't just surrender their opponents, they weren't that stupid, which is why Bunta and Masaharu in particular were disguised as discreetly but unrecognizable as possible, after all, they didn't want to take any risks.
"Rho-chan!Let's share a room! ", Bunta clung to the girl from behind when Yanagi asked for the room keys for the group at the counter.
The dark-haired woman wanted to roll her eyes, especially because she (whoever it was), whatever, had put Bunta in women's clothes.
"That was definitely Bunta's idea, who else should come up with such crap?" Rhode was already thinking when she saw him in this outfit at the meeting point.
"Of course you silly, we are the only girls after all.", She faked a friendly smile and thought about how she could make him bleed when that was all over, because the idea of sharing the room with him having to keep her out of sight wasn't exactly great.
Rangiku was on her way to the dining room when she passed the lobby. Her gaze wandered unconsciously to the crowd that was checking in, but she did not miss who it was. Instead, she bit her thumb to keep her from laughing.
"Ouch," she cursed softly when she actually managed to bite the skin open at the same moment.
At the same moment, Rhode realized that the witch was nearby. She turned in her direction and the girls' eyes met for a hundredth of a second unnoticed by anyone else around her.
It was a sign for both of them and only for them.
The following day began early with the arrival of the last members of the Blue Order and the meeting was supposed to take place immediately after breakfast.
There was no way Rangiku could have contacted her comrades, but she hoped they would implement the plan in time.
She sat in her chair and thought how a shame it would be for the building in which they were sitting, because it would probably not hold up for too long what was in store for the walls.
The last one to take a seat was Ohtori Chotaroh. He was actually the youngest of the group, but he was the descendant of a legendary exorcist and inherited his abilities like none of his other ancestors had before, which wasn't the only reason he was the leader, but maybe another time, though probably not , it is probably not such an interesting story as if it is worth telling it at this point.
The meeting of the Blue Order began and Keigo took over the leadership of it. First he came up with which points they would discuss and that were actually only two.
The first was that Rangiku would be accepted now, not only as a reinforcement in the team, but, and that concerned the second point of this meeting, as a source of information. She belonged to the opponent and therefore knew best what they were dealing with.
There was no special induction ceremony for new members, but a vote was kept and 75% of the existing members had to vote positive for admission to be allowed, which was the case.
Which brought the group to point 2.
Rangiku was getting nervous, she didn't want to reveal anything she knew. But in order not to give the Blue Order a clue of the ambush, she would have to talk until Akaya and the others joined her.
She just opened her mouth when the relieving impact of the wall made everyone startle.
However, it wasn't exactly as if the members of the Blue Order hadn't expected this, they were prepared to be attacked.
