The world of Loveless

Since Loveless is a maybe a little less known manga compared to Naruto or One Piece, it might be better to write a short explanation here.

The Manga

Ritsuka Aoyagi is the younger brother of Seimei Aoyagi, a member of the organization"Seven Moons". After his brother dies, Ritsuka is visited by Soubi, Seimei's weapon. He introduces Ritsuka to the world of the"Spellbattle"and explains to him that "Seven Moons" murdered Seimei. Ritsuka then tries to clarify the death of his brother.

Explanation of terms

In the Loveless world, spellbattle, ie "fights with words", are fought. Two people always form a team, once the "sacrifice", which is the "master", that is, determines the goal and strategy. The "weapon" fights with word images that become reality. It often depends on the precision of the images and the speed of implementation.
While the weapon fights, the sacrifice takes all injuries. The aim is to incapacitate the opposing sacrifice.
Combat couples are determined by the"real name"of the two people. True names are determined by birth, and the two people with the same name have particularly strong bonds.
