"It's from Lily ..." Jenny's words still rang in my ears. Sitting on the ground I looked into the sky that was soaking wet, I heard steps but I didn't care. "Lily come on you can't stay here!" Kai's voice was as friendly as ever, but I didn't understand why. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to my feet, but they failed, he reacted quickly and kept me on my feet. "You should come with me Lily." I didn't look at him because that would have been too difficult and yet I went with him because I knew he meant well to me.
We walked through the rain for a while, a thunder made me drive together so that I clawed my fingernails into his arm. "It's okay, we'll be there in a moment." he sounded worried. Just why was he so worried about me? With the best will in the world, that didn't get into my head. I heard the noise of cars, he stopped and seemed to be looking for something. "What are you doing there?" I asked in a frightened voice. "I'm looking for your car key." I sucked it out of my jacket pocket and handed it to him. His hand was warm as it brushed my skin and took the key from my hand. Kai opened the door and then maneuvered me into the car, closed the door behind me and took quick steps to the other side.
Kai drove for a while until he seemed to have sorted his words. "Lily ...?" he slowly groped his way to a conversation. But I tried not to think of anything, but it just didn't work. My eyes went away from the window to him, he tried to look at me while driving but it seemed like it was different. "Yes ..." I whispered. "If you like, I will drive you home to your brothers?" I shook my head and a few drops of water hit his face, he didn't flinch when they hit him, he didn't even close his eyes. "Where are you going, Angel?" I caught my breath when I heard Angel, hot tears ran down my cheeks.I sang to myself in the seat pulled my legs up as far as possible and cried softly to myself.
10 minutes later he stopped in front of a high-rise building that didn't look familiar to me due to the wet windows. He got out. I had my door open because he locked it on the driver's side and hurried to me, slowly pulled me up and gave me a light hug. At that moment I wished that it would never end, but the wish was not granted to me.
