Project Eleven!
This name stands for a Shinigami rescue plan.
After several wars with Arancaras, Hollows, Bountus and other beings, the Soul Society is down!
Thousands of Shinigamis died and their numbers dwindled to threateningly low levels.
There were various projects to compensate for the low number of Shinigamis.
Project Eleven seemed to be the most successful in the end.
The goal of the project is simple:
Find people with high spiritual energy and infect them with a specially prepared, parasitic hollow.
The hollow has no will of its own and consists practically only of the instinct to eat other hollows.
People who are infected with such a hollow receive a hollow mask and a weapon made of a material similar to the mask.
These weapons cannot compete with a Zanpaktou, but they are sufficient to kill weak Hollows, and they can be repaired or restored by the wearer at any time.
Such people are called Yoma (Japanese: demon).
The Yoma roam the real world in search of hollows to devour.
As long as the Yoma do this, they will not be harassed by the Shinigamis any further, but it can happen that the Yomas change.
This change goes hand in hand with a process of development that the Shinigamis did not foresee.
During this process, a hole is slowly created on the chest of the Yoma, through the devouring of hollows, the hollow portion in the body of the Yoma grows, they slowly become more and more hollow.
When this process begins, the strength of a Yoma increases explosively and it becomes a danger to shinigamis and higher developed hollows.
From this point on, the Shinigamis begin to hunt and kill the Yoma.
For this reason, the lifespan of a Yoma is very short; the development process usually begins after two to three years.
With Yomas who eat a lot of hollows, the process can start earlier.

Since the Yoma used to be people with a high spiritual level Level wars, some Yoma still have skills from their human time, here too you can be inventive! But don't overdo it!

Developmental state: (That depends on your previous time as a Yoma! The longer you've been a Yoma, the more likely it is that the development process will occur. I have already mentioned when the development process occurs, the hole that is typical for Hollows gradually forms on the Breast. The development process takes about 2-3 years! With Yoma who eat the greatest number of hollows, it can also go faster.)

A yoma is a hollow that was transformed before it died.
That is the whole point, and as the mmff progresses, the Yoma skills will develop in ways that normal Hollows cannot.
