It was three weeks after the big tournament and everything was still quiet and peaceful on the blue planet. As usual, everyone went about their usual occupations and lived their normal lives.
Late in the evening Vegeta and Trunks came back from training with Piccolo and Son Goten, which the two youngsters were forced to do. Because the Saiyan prince and the Namek were of the opinion that the boys desperately needed it, as they had given a pretty lame performance at the tournament.
Trunks couldn't deny that the gig he and his best friend had made wasn't exactly the best. But he wasn't actually as bad as he thought he was himself. Only Son Goten had really failed. He had already been kicked out in the second round. But hadn't he lost to anyone, no, he was knocked out by his little niece, Pan, who is only four years old, by the way. beaten. Just embarrassing. Whenever Trunks thought about it, he inevitably had to shake his head.
But not only that. Since then, both half-Saiyajins have been unfairly condemned to training, which was anything but a walk in the park with Piccolo and Vegeta.
Half past four in the morning they were shooed out of their feathers and only released late in the evening.
After all, it was vacation time and so the boys could be tormented all day.
Trunks had never looked forward to school as much as at that time. But it was quite a while before school started.
"There you two are finally." Bulma greeted her men. "Dinner has long been ready and is slowly getting cold. You'd better hurry up." She said.
Vegeta went silently into the kitchen.
Trunks, on the other hand, was too tired even to eat and apologized with a "Sorry, I'm not hungry." with his mother and went upstairs exhausted. The only thing he wanted now was sleep.
So he did a makeshift wash and then fell straight into bed. 'How did I deserve this? 'It had been his last thought for the past three weeks before falling asleep.
The alarm rang. Trunks threw it against the wall like almost every morning so that it would finally be quiet. It was 4.30 a.m. "I do not want." he muttered to himself. He just didn't want to get up, because basically he was a real morning grouch.
But if he didn't get up now, Vegeta would be on the mat in ten minutes at the latest and that would be at least a thousand times worse. The young person could do without cold water in the morning.
Trunks got heavily out of bed and dragged himself into the bathroom across from his room. Less than five minutes later he came out a little fresher, but was actually still half asleep.
He went down to the kitchen, where he found his father, who was already eating hard."How can you actually eat so much?" Trunks thought to himself as so often. Okay, if he was really hungry, he could be pretty damned. But early in the morning? No, that wasn't possible at all. That was probably the human genes in him. So he opted for a rather light breakfast.
"Can we?" asked Vegeta after he finished. It was actually a rhetorical question, because they would have left if Trunks hadn't been ready yet. The Saiyan was just pretty ruthless.
"Yes." replied the half-saiyajin, still completely asleep, and they took off.
This week they trained in the mountains.
It was still dark, but the first red of dawn was slowly touching the sky on the horizon when they arrived at the agreed meeting point.
Piccolo and Goten had just landed and the black-haired one also looked as if he would still love to lie in his nice, warm and cozy bed. Well, there they were already two.
"Tomorrow." , greeted Goten slightly grim, which was probably due to the tiredness as well as the cold up there.
"Hmm." it came just as good-humored from Trunks.
"Hey you two, you should wake up slowly! After all, we don't have the whole day!" Said Piccolo as charmingly as ever.
Not all day? Whoever believes it! Was it going through both teenagers at the same time.
"Then warm up!" ordered Vegeta in his usual tone and the daily training began.
By late afternoon, the four warriors were still completely absorbed in their exercises, which largely consisted of Trunks and Son Goten fighting Vegeta and Piccolo.
Needless to say, the half-Saiyajins got most of it.
But suddenly everyone stopped at the same time and looked at each other as confirmation that everyone felt it. It was an unfamiliar aura that wasn't exactly small either. However, it was not an energy that showed great physical strength, as with them, no, it was something else.
"What is that?" Son Goten could no longer hold his question. Piccolo just looked at him seriously and shook his head to show that he didn't know either.
"In any case, it is racing towards the earth at high speed.", Vegeta said, looking up at the sky. Something was very wrong here, but neither of them knew what.
"I guess we should take a look at things," said the Namek and met with approval from all sides.
They flew in the direction from which the energy came until they saw a spaceship falling over a kind of desert. It was still a few miles away, but they could already see it. They could also see that before the spaceship hit Earth, someone jumped out.
In mute consent, they decided to fly closer to see what exactly had happened, although it had already been pretty clear. But maybe the person who jumped out needed help. And that question couldn't be answered until they looked.
When they arrived at the spaceship, or rather at the remains of it, they first looked around. Nobody was to be seen.
"Well, this thing is crap anyway." said Son Goten and gave the 'junk thing' a light pat. Thereupon a few small lightning bolts appeared, from which the black-haired man shrank slightly.
"I think someone is lying back there." Trunks noticed and pointed in one direction. "I'll have a look." and it flew a little way to the point in question.
The one lying there must have been seriously injured, because his aura was only very weak. But who was the stranger?
