I go to my room and sit on my bed. How am I supposed to do that? I don't even like him and then I should make him fall in love with me. That's impossible. In the late afternoon I walk through the villa and run into Mokuba who is playing on his game console.
"Hey Mokuba. Can I ask you something?" The black haired man finishes his game and looks at me. "Sure, go ahead."
"So ... how is Seto like?" Mokuba was silent for a short time.
"Seto is actually very nice. He spends a lot of time with me and he fulfills me every time. But unfortunately he is only like that to me. He doesn't let anyone else near him. But I hope that at some point there will be a girl who is serious about it Seto says. "
I look at Mokuba. He seems to be very worried about his big brother. "Thanks." I say and go back to my room. A short time later there is a knock in my room.
“Yes?” The door opens and Emily and Stella come in. "What do you want?" "Well ... we just wanted ..." "No," I interrupted Emily. "Oh come on, maybe you'll fall in love with him too." says Stella to me and puts on the dog's eye. "But I don't want to. And certainly not to be with him." The two sat down on my bed and looked at me. Then Stella breaks the silence. "If you melt the iceberg, then I'll give you the drawing course you've always wanted for your birthday. And if you fail, you'll have to do our homework for three months."
"Oh, and you have two months." adds Emily. I think about it for a moment. The offer isn't bad. "Okay. But you stop annoying me with it now."
Both nod to me and leave my room. What did I get into? I wonder as I fall back on the pillows. The next morning I wake up very late. I am currently looking at my alarm clock, which is already 13:20.
I get up a little frightened. "Great, I slept through breakfast and lunch."
I mumble to myself. I go to the bathroom and get ready.
After I'm done I go to the kitchen.
“Good morning.” I say to the cook. "It's a little late for a good morning. You have to be one of the exchange students." says himself and gives me a friendly grin.
"Yes, I'm Liz. I'm very happy." "Hello, I'm Mara and the cook here in the house." she says with a grin on her lips. "Could I have something to eat? I slept through breakfast and lunch."
"Of course. What do you want? Noodles, pancakes, rice pudding ....? Choose what you like." "Pancakes would be great. Thank you."
I sat down on a chair and wait for my meal. "The villa seems so empty to me, isn't there anyone?" I ask, a little surprised. "Mokuba is with a friend. The two girls wanted to go to town and Heer Kaiba is with the company."she says kindly and puts my food in front of me. I thank her and think about what else I should do today. When I have finished eating I go into the garden and lie down on a lounger. I love the summer.
Now I can actually come up with a plan. The sooner the better. After all, I only have two months. How could I get Seto around?
"Well finally awake too?" startled, I turn around and see Seto. "Yeah. Shouldn't you be in your company?" he looks at me questioningly. "I have to go right back."
Ok, I have to come up with something. Right now that I'm alone with him. There is no better opportunity. Think ... think ... I scream at myself inside.
I have it. Since he is so rarely here in the villa anyway, it will be difficult but if I do an internship in his company I can be close to him and supplement my pocket money.

Well step one is done. In the evening I tell Emily and Stella about it. The two are absolutely thrilled. And a little jealous because besides betting, I still earn money.
The weekend goes by way too fast because it is already Monday. The alarm goes off and I'm half asleep looking for the snooze button.
The others are fine, they can still sleep. I get up and go to the bathroom to get ready. I dress a little more seriously so that Seto has nothing to complain about. Then I go and the dining room and already see Seto
. "Good Morning." I say with a smile on my face. But he doesn't say anything and continues reading his newspaper. after breakfast I ask him
"Will you take me with you today? I don't know where your company is."
he still doesn't look at me and says "Yes. But from tomorrow you will come alone."
I nod in response. I quickly go to my room and get my jacket. When I come back down I'm already impatiently waiting for me.
We get into the limousine and drive off. Suddenly he looks at me with his cold look. “You knew how to address me at the company as Mr. Kaiba.” I just nod and think what a big ass he is. Hopefully I'll get through all of this without suffering any permanent damage.
We get out of the car and go inside. A woman is already waiting for us there. "Good morning Mr. Kaiba." it comes from her.He ignores her and continues to the elevator.
Well great that can be cheerful, I think to myself. I turn back to the woman.
"Good morning. My name is Ms. Schmidt." politely and with a grin she greets me. At least she's nice. "Hello, my name is Liz." I say and smile at her too.
“Come with me, I'll show you the building first.” The tour takes almost two hours. In the end we are at the top of the last floor.
"This is the locker room. Find someone crazy and put your things in there. When you're done, I'll give you your tasks."
With these words she goes out and I put my things down. Why on earth do I have to do my internship on the top floor. Whether that goes well with my fear of heights. It has to go well, after all, I have a job to do.
I'm just not allowed to look out the window. I go back out and see them waiting. Now we go into a vestibule of Seto's office. She shows me where to find everything. I even have a fuss with a computer and a chair. Not bad for an intern.
She has just finished showing me everything, and Seto comes out of his office. "Liz bring me some coffee." he says im passing by. So I'll go into the kitchen and get him his coffee. I'm starting to regret asking about this internship.
But I don't want to do the other's homework either. So I have to go through there now. I head to his door and hear a "come in" from him. I go in without saying a word and put his coffee in front of him.
I just want to go again when ... "Copy this for me."
I turn around, take it off the stack and go to the copier. "Great. As if I were the idiot for everything. I mumble to myself. I go back and hope that he doesn't want more from me. And this time I'm lucky.
I help Ms. Schmidt with various documents until the lunch break. I go down to the cafeteria and think about the best thing to do instead of getting his attention.
But not too exaggerated, he shouldn't think that I'm easy to get.
