I stormed into the bar and looked around. Nowhere was anyone to be seen, but I could hear someone whimper. I went to the counter and looked behind it. A little girl was crouched on the floor, tears streaming down her face. << Hey. >> I said softly. << Everything will be fine. I will bring you to safety! >>
The girl looked at me sadly and said: << I want to go to Tifa! >>
<< You will see them again, but first I have to get you to safety! >> I explained to her. The girl nodded weakly and I gave her my hand.

As we stepped out of the bar, I looked up at Cloud and the others. The red-haired Turk from earlier stood across from them. << I am not allowed to dawdle here any longer. >> It shot through my head. << Come on. >> I said to the girl and took her hand, then we ran away from the sector.

After a while we were back in front of my house.I stormed in and almost ran over my mother. << Yuki! What's happening? >> Breathlessly I said: << No time. Take care of the girl, she belongs to a friend. I have to go back! >> Without asking another question, my mother nodded and let me go. I kept running back to the sector. << I hope I'm not late! >> I thought in panic.

But just a few meters from the sector I heard a deafening bang. << No !! >> I screamed. A flood of destroyed parts of the house came out of the gate. << I'm too late! >> I thought. I stopped and looked at the wreckage of the sector in disbelief. << How did that happen? >> Suddenly I heard voices. << No! Everything is destroyed! >> With a glimmer of hope, I ran to the gate. Before that I saw Tifa, Barret and Cloud. << Cloud! Tifa! Barret! >> I called. Cloud and Tifa turned to me. << Yuki .. >> However, Barret continued to stare at the rubble. << All are dead .. Marlene! MARLENE !! >> Barret collapsed. << I couldn't save her !! >> he sobbed and hit the floor.
<< Barret. >> I said. << Marlene is safe. She is at home with me. Cloud told me to get her to safety. >>

Cloud and I stopped in front of my house, Tifa and Barret went in to Marlene's. << How did that happen in the sector? >> I asked Cloud and looked dejected at the floor.

<< Save your anger until we get there. ShinRa will regret all of this. >> replied Cloud and also looked up at the record.
