"She should change schools!" said my former class teacher to my mother, who was at my school for a conversation. I've never done anything bad ... ok, maybe I smoked at school every now and then ... but I mean nowadays that's probably nothing special. I used a cigarette every now and then because of all the stress at school. But I know that this is not the reason ... he was afraid of me ... just like everyone else from this and my old school. And now I have to change schools again after the holidays ...

I didn't have any friends at my old school. Not right from the start. For some reason inexplicable to me, they all turned against me. I was bullied ... and I don't know why. At the beginning I cried quietly into my pillow every evening and asked myself: “Why?” I just wanted to have friends. I told my mother about it. She saw a change of school as the only solution.

My mother ... I have no resemblance to her ... she is very reserved and kind ... I, on the other hand, am very temperamental and express my opinion freely. Outwardly, too, she doesn't look like me. I have really green eyes. Woodruff green. And my hair was a dark cherry red. My mother, on the other hand, only has brown eyes and black hair. I must have inherited everything from my father ... I don't know my father ... he died when I was just six months old. And I don't know any more. My mother never speaks about it.

A few weeks later I went to my current school. At first it seemed like nothing had changed. The others were afraid of me ... But then I met a girl who became my best friend. I always called her Yosu-chan. She was the only one who didn't treat me like something inhuman. She always protects me from all the stupid sayings of my classmates. She had black hair with a greenish tinge that I had never seen before. Her eyes were the same color ... once I even thought she had red eyes ... but maybe I just imagined it. Sometimes she had black feathers stuck to her clamp notes. She always said she had a few birds standing around at her home, but somehow I didn't believe her ... Then Yosu-chan changed school from one day to the next. Suddenly. Without a word. After Yosu-chan's disappearance, I also started smoking. I can easily relieve stress with it. At least a bit.

And now I'm going to change schools again ...

After the summer holidays

"My name is Kaname Mamiko, nice to meet you." I say with a small smile on my face. Again some classmates get strange looks. But some also smile at me. "Unfortunately we only have the space available at the back of the window." My class teacher says kindly to me and I slowly walk to the free space. A brown haired girl smiles at me and I return it with an uncertain grin.Now I'm going to Ukiyoe Middle School. This school ... it is very different from the other two schools ... just as I sense that some classmates are also very different ...

During the break, a group of six comes to me. The three boys introduce themselves as Kiyotsugu, Shima and Rikuo ... Rikuo ... he looks like an ordinary boy ... but something about him is different ... the girls introduce themselves as Tori, Maki and Kana. I don't know why, but we get along really well right away, which makes me really happy.

In the third hour we have mahte ... and I don't understand anything! I didn't even have this topic at my old school! And now we have no end of homework!

Classes end after the 4th lesson as it is the first day of school. Rikuo offers to help me with my homework because I cried a bit because I didn't understand anything. Together we sit on the roof and learn ... "And then you have to put the number there!" he explains to me and our hands meet. A small blow jerks through my body ... it still seems so strange to me ... he's nice ... but also kind of annoying, with his helper syndrome ... you can tell immediately that he has something like that. I mean he plays the errand boy for everyone, takes over all class duties and is also good in every subject ^^ After a short time Kiyotsugu and the others come to us. "Hey Kaname-san, would you like to go to Rikuo's with us tonight?" asks me Tori. "We'll have a nice chat, have a cup of tea and have a nice evening." Maki meets with it too. "THAT WILL NOT DO!" screeches Kana. And the other two girls see a light. "Oh, that's not a problem!" Rikuo says kindly. Amazed, I say yes ... I feel that something is wrong with the house ...
