In this story I tried to invent a religious background for DBZ. Is of course pure speculation. As far as I know, I've never seen a character in any kind of church. But if so many gods appear here: Dende, Master Kaio, Dai-Kaio, Kaioshin and Dai-Kaioshin. Then there would have to be a religion that is based on it. Here is the attempt.

I call them the Kaiotarians. Goku has been a member for a long time because his grandfather was there too. Chichi, on the other hand, could be a Christian. Didn't see anything in this direction. But it would be possible. Well, let's start.

A thud of the gong fills the great pagoda in Satan City. Six men and six women, the Ho-Kaios, come in while a spherical melody is played on a glass harmonica. They all wear dark blue cloaks with wide, yellow stripes on the edges.Everyone present stands up. Now ten people sit left and right on a bench against the wall and two sit in the middle on a bench. Everyone present also sits down. The melody is over. Now the one in the middle stand up. It is the Re-Kaio of Satan City and the woman next to him, his wife is the Ri-Kaio. The ten other people in the same robes are monks and nuns of the Kaiotarian monastery. The Ri-Kaio takes the floor: "My dear friends and guests, I am very pleased to be able to welcome you all here. I did this and immediately two henchmen of evil rushed towards me and sucked a large part of my energy from me in order to awaken an evil demon. Kibito healed me and I regained consciousness. The Kaioshin then asked my friends and me to come with him and help him fight. So we went into pursuit. We followed the henchmen of the evil one to their spaceship, in which the demon was trapped in an egg. The creator of the demon had locked it back in its egg because he could no longer control it. The Kaioshin succeeded in eliminating the Creator a long time ago.

But his son had studied the records and decided to raise the demon again. My friends and I managed to get into the spaceship, but we could no longer prevent the demon from being reborn. A terrible fight ensued, in which the Kaioshin, my friends and I were badly injured.Kibito managed to revive the Kaioshin and find me. When they found me, the Kaioshin Kibito persuaded me to take me into the world of the Kaioshins and heal me there. So it happened and I became the first inhabitant of this planet who was allowed to enter the world of the Kaioshins. After Kibito healed me and I came to, I found myself in a wonderful landscape that looks exactly as it is in the Book of the Kaios. Finally, the Kaioshin shocked his servant again when he said I should defeat the demon with the Z-sword. This sword has been stuck in a rock for thousands of years and no one has yet managed to pull it out. But I finally managed to pull the sword out of the rock and I learned to wield it. When the Kaioshin suggested cutting up a block of Katshin steel, we, Kidito, my father, who came along and I had no concerns. It's the sacred Z-sword. When my father threw the block at me, and I reached out to cut the block, the sword broke.I was just able to save myself and the block landed in the grass behind me. It all seemed lost. How is it possible for a holy sword to break. But something amazing happened. A very old man appeared who said that he was locked in the sword. We had to believe him because he was surrounded by the aura of the Kaioshin. He told us his stories and it was clear that he was that mysterious Kaioshin who is written about in chapter 16 of the Book of Kaios. We were able to persuade him to perform a strengthening ritual on me. That was the 25 hour Fu-Fun ritual that made my hidden powers available. So, I went back to earth. But had no chance against the demon. Now the old Kaioshin gave my father his life energy and he could help me. What an incredible gesture: a god gives his life energy to a person. After a few dramatic hours and with the help of a few other friends, the demon was finally defeated.That was actually all I wanted to tell you. I thank the Reigning Master Kaio for his support, the old Kaioshin for the Fu-Fun ritual and the young Kaioshin for his courage to break new ground. So I can confirm that the Kaioshins are exactly as described in the Book of the Kaois. May the power of the Kaios support us. Thanks.
