Enma calls Enma

Part 3 - Teamwork (or not ...)
<br />
<br />
“Ohh!” Koenma got up on his wobbly legs and adjusted his headgear. Botan rubbed his eyes and took a deep breath. "And I have to do it all over again," she groaned.
<br />
“Says!” Koenma turned to the waiting people. "Nice to see you again. What is the current state of affairs?"
<br />
<br />
Kurama stepped forward. "We are also glad that you are well, Koenma-sama. The extinction has now passed mark three." What should we do? "
<br />
<br />
"Unfortunately, we can't do anything about the Extinction itself," Koenma said seriously, "but in the reality beyond this black throat there is a wonderful thing called Dragonballs." In short words, he explained to them what it was about.
<br />
Hiei jumped from the tree and walked towards the throat.
<br />
<br />
"Halt" Piccolo grabbed him by the collar and yanked him back from the abyss.You didn't do something like that with Hiei with impunity. In a flash he had his sword at hand and sabered Piccolo's arm, who hadn't expected it at all.
<br />
<br />
Koenma and Botan's mouths stayed open. "Hey!", Yusuke choked out. "You just maimed one of our allies. Botan, help him quickly!"
<br />
"Yusuke, healing is not my specialty, you have to ask someone else."
<br />
"We have to stop the bleeding first!" Kurama shouted, brushing a jagged seed from his hair.
<br />
<br />
Kuwabara looked blankly from Gokou to the still a little pale Vegeta. "Why do you stand there when your friend is bleeding to death. The purple stuff is his blood, isn't it?"
<br />
"Yes ...", Gokou nodded.
<br />
<br />
"Then you have to help him!" Shouted Kuwabara, wringing his hands.
<br />
"Phhh!" Said Vegeta. "Anyone who is stupid enough to be caught cold by an amateur ..."
<br />
As if out of nowhere, Hiei appeared in front of Vegeta and held the tip of the sword under his nose."Who's the amateur here, human?" He hissed.
<br />
<br />
Vegeta didn't flinch. "Well, the one who asks stupidly, man!"
<br />
"Stop this nonsense, both of you!" Koenma shouted sharply.
<br />
"Exactly"
<br />
<br />
The voice was clearly from Piccolo. The bleeding from the stump of his arm had stopped. Kurama, who had already wanted to press the seed on it, paused.
<br />
"Piccolo," came Gokou, "could you please stop? Or do you enjoy scaring the people here."
<br />
<br />
"Well, a little," Piccolo admitted with a narrow grin. He gathered his strength and a second arm grew out of the stump.
<br />
"Unbelievable!" Said Koenma. "Can all of your kind do that?"
<br />
"Yes, regeneration is a specialty of the Namekians. Of course, you need appropriate training and experience in order to regrow whole body parts."
<br />
"Really practical," said Yusuke too. "Seems like Koenma knew what he was doing when he brought the three of you instead of an army."<br />
"Ummm ... Koenma-sama", Botan interfered carefully. "How about you introduce them to each other?"
<br />
<br />
“Oh, I haven't got that yet, have I?” Koenma scratched her forehead, embarrassed. "Ahmm," he cleared his throat importantly. "This one," he pointed to the group around Yusuke. "are the people on my team. Each of them has special skills and fighting techniques. You will form a team with them."
<br />
<br />
"I'm Yusuke", he started. "My specialty is the" Rei Gun. "He aimed his index finger at a dead tree like a pistol barrel and shot a beam of energy at it. The tree flared up and collapsed in a pile of ash.
<br />
<br />
"Great technology!" Said Gokou happily. “Well, I'm Son Gokou. This is my specialty.” He chose a larger rock that stood deserted in the landscape. "You don't need that anymore, do you?", He asked Koenma, whereupon Koenma shook his head.Gokou stretched out his arms in the tried and tested manner and shouted “Kamahameha!” A thick, blue beam of energy ate its way through the air, collided with the rock, whereupon it made a huge bang and there was little more than a cloud of dust from the rock.
<br />
<br />
"Wow!", Impressed Yusuke swallowed.
<br />
"Loud and primitive," came Hiei.
<br />
"Now it's my turn!", Kuwabara pushed forward. "I'm Kuwabra, my specialty is the" Rei Ken ". He reached out his hand, called" Rei Ken ", and held a sword of pure, fiery light energy in his hand with which he struck a few times through the air."
<br />
<br />
Vegeta merely raised an eyebrow, causing Koenma to emphasize Kuwabara's ability to cut the boundaries between dimensions with his sword. Not that that did much to reduce Vegeta's disdain ...
<br />
<br />
"Then it must be my turn," said Piccolo and stepped forward. "I'm Piccolo, besides regeneration, this is my specialty."He raised two fingers to his forehead. In the past he had to concentrate for a long time, but now he could fire it in an instant, his" devil's spiral! "As soon as he had called the word, the glowing golden energy screwed its way over their heads against a rock wall and cut a deep hole into it.
<br />
<br />
"Quite lame," Hiei judged dismissively. "Seldom does an enemy stand so still ..."
<br />
"And you're so much better, aren't you?" Piccolo squeezed out between his teeth.
<br />
"I'd like to see that too," Vegeta said with a sidelong glance. "Anyone can spit big tones ..."
<br />
<br />
Hiei looked at the two of them and reached for his sleeve to roll it up. "Don't do that, please," Kurama put his arm on his shoulder. “It's too dangerous here.” He smiled apologetically at Vegeta and Piccolo. "Hiei is a bit impulsive. Besides, he is fast as the wind and once he has let go of the black fire kite, there is probably one stone more on the other here."<br />
<br />
"Wait a minute," Gokou, who had been silent so far, knitted his eyebrows. "If this black dragon is so invincible, why don't you just blow this demon's fortress away with it?"
<br />
"She is protected by a magical shield," Kurama explained. "It's so strong that even Hiei's dragon would grit its teeth on it."
<br />
<br />
“So we don't know what it looks like inside the fortress?” Piccolo looked over at Koenma. "What about your spies who were supposed to be exploring the fortress?"
<br />
“Oh?” Hiei raised an eyebrow. "Was there more, Koenma?"
<br />
Koenma shook her head. "I only sent the fastest and best, you. Report!"
<br />
"Just a moment!", Interfered Son Gokou. "It would be impolite to stop the performance before it was everyone's turn, wouldn't it?"
<br />
<br />
"Right." Koenma adjusted his headgear. "There's one left, isn't there?"
<br />
"Then I'd better get it over with," said Vegeta."I'm Vegeta, Prince of the Saiyan. My technique doesn't need a name."
<br />
<br />
He turned to the wreckage Piccolo's Devil's Spiral had blown from the rock face. In a flash he raised his hands and fired his golden energy balls at them. There was a lot of smoke and smoke, but when it cleared, all that was left of the rock was dust.
<br />
Vegeta gave Hiei a challenging look. He raised his hand to his mouth and yawned exaggeratedly. Before Vegeta could freak out about it, Kurama stepped forward. "My name is Kurama and I am a connoisseur of flora from here to the world of demons. This is my weapon." With an elegant gesture he pulled the rose out of his hair. “Rose Whip!” As always, she transformed into the long, flexible, thorn-covered tendril that Kurama used as a whip. With it he struck a still untouched boulder, which the thorns cut smoothly.
<br />
<br />
"That's nice," said Vegeta."But absolutely useless against remote attacks."
<br />
“Stop!” Koenma had turned into a teenager again. "I'm sick of your petty bickering."
<br />
Hiei and Vegeta looked at each other.
<br />
"Phhh!"
<br />
<br />
Everyone looked in a different direction.
<br />
"It seems to me that you all need special training together to understand what strengths and weaknesses everyone has and how they can use them for the benefit of the group."
<br />
Gokou looked very excited. That promised to be very entertaining.
<br />
"And to ensure that everything runs smoothly, Botan will now take you all to Genkai, who is the best teacher for such stubborn heads.
<br />
<br />
Kuwabara was sweating on his forehead. It was not for nothing that Genkai's training was so valued (rather feared) that even talented demons let her teach them, even though she was human.
<br />
<br />
Lately, to her own astonishment, the strength that she had transferred to Yusuke had gradually grown again in her, so that she could distribute it like in the old days.<br />
"Don't worry, Kuwabara," said Yusuke and patted him on the shoulder, "I'm with you."
<br />
"That doesn't calm me down a bit," Kuwabara hissed back. "Actually, I should be sitting in my room and studying like a madman ..."
<br />
<br />
"Then you will get along very well with my son," laughed Gokou.
<br />
"Your son? Is he coming?"
<br />
"No, but you will meet him in our reality."
<br />
"How? What?", Kuwabara didn't know her way anymore.
<br />
"Gokou, you are very ummm ... direct?", Koenma cleared her throat. "I would have liked to have taught Kuwabara myself."
<br />
<br />
"Does that mean I have to go through there?", Kuwabara pointed to the big throat, "Why me?"
<br />
"Because you are human," said the Namek. "The people here have their problems with demons and half-demons. They are scared when I show up and I was once their god."
<br />
"You were what?", Yusuke almost fell out of his head.<br />
<br />
"Well, let's say half of me was God. The one who watched over her and stepped in from time to time, the one who trained Gokou to be strong enough to defeat the other me, the devil ... "
<br />
<br />
"Stop!", Koenma waved her off. "If we all tell each other the life story, we will still be sitting there tomorrow. First we can solve the chaos here,
