Part 5
<br />
<br />
ChiChi stood by the window, a handkerchief clutching tightly with her trembling hands. Around Gohan's bed, the doctors tried their best to preserve his dying life. One of the doctors yelled for a nerve-stimulating drug, and a nurse handed him the syringe. The cow devil had an arm around his daughter and was praying silently for rescue. The Lord of the Turtles had seized his staff so tightly that the first jumps appeared and sent his thoughts to Gokou questioningly. No Answer. Then the aura of the dragon faded in the distance and he wondered anxiously whether Gokou might have come too late.
<br />
<br />
At that moment there was an outcry from the doctors and ChiChi dropped the handkerchief, eyes huge and face pale as chalk. Her father wanted to hug her comfortingly when a bright voice rang out from Gohan's bed.
<br />
<br />
"Mom? Mom where are you, I'm hungry!"<br />
<br />
The tears of relief flowed unchecked when ChiChi, laughing happily, rummaged through the crowd of astonished doctors and hugged her recovered son. "My angel, my darling, you are well again!"
<br />
<br />
"What was going on, mom?" Gohan asked confused? "Has something happened to me? Where are Grandpa and Papa and why am I in the hospital?"
<br />
"It seems to me that there is nothing more for you to do here," said the turtle master and guided the confused doctors out of the room. Although they protested violently and wanted to conduct investigations, there was an authority in the voice of the old gentleman to which they unconsciously bowed.
<br />
"Gohan, what is the last thing you can remember?" Asked the beef devil with wet eyes.
<br />
"Hmm ...", Gohan put a forefinger to his chin and stared at the ceiling. "I was in my room and suddenly there was this stranger and then ... then I don't know anything anymore."
<br />
"The stranger, can you describe him?"asked the turtle master curiously.
<br />
"I only saw him for a very short time, the only strange thing was that he had no aura, otherwise I would have felt him sooner ..."
<br />
<br />
"As now!" It sounded muffled through the closed windows. Everyone's heads turned to the pale Irider hovering outside the window. He calmly raised a hand and the glass burst.
<br />
<br />
With a speed that one would not have believed his massive figure to be, the beef devil jumped in front of the bed and spread his arms to shield his daughter and grandson from the broken glass.
<br />
<br />
The master of the turtles stood up in front of the cattle devil and erected a protective barrier that prevented even worse, because part of the masonry also fell victim to the intruder's strength. In the privacy of this cloud of dust and rubble, Ramagi floated in with a superior smile on his thin lips.He wiped the old man's shield aside with a flick of his left hand and fired a burst of energy at him that hurled Muten Roshi against the wall. The turtle shell on his back prevented the worst, but he was too dazed by the impact to face Ramagi again.
<br />
Ramagi allowed the beef devil, who, despite the bleeding cuts on his arms, to pose in an attacking pose, even a careless gesture, the sickly green energy beam ate into the shoulder of Gohan's grandfather, who then only rolled on the floor, groaning in pain.
<br />
<br />
"Stay behind me, Gohan," said ChiChi with the determination in her voice that is common to all mothers who defend their offspring. "You monster will atone for what you did to my father and Gohan. Face yourself, you monster!"
<br />
<br />
Despite his immense superiority, it loomed threateningly before him.His lips twitched contemptuously and he put his hand on the angry ChiChi. But this did not wait for his attack but went on the offensive itself, which surprised him very much. She even managed to kick him in the chest, but that was enough of her powder. Ramagi's flash of energy tore her from her feet and threw her against the door, where she fell unconscious to the floor.
<br />
<br />
"Mom !!", Gohan yelled and at the sight of the thread of blood that ran from the corner of her mouth, a huge anger built up in him. Blue sparks flew from his hair and tiny lightning flashes in his golden aura and his eyes blazed.
<br />
<br />
Ramagi knitted his fine eyebrows. There was really much more to this child than it first appeared. Nevertheless, his strength was still superior to that of the boy and now that no one could disturb him anymore, he would finally complete his work ...<br />
Just then, Gokou and Piccolo materialized behind him. With a few glances they saw what must have happened here.
<br />
<br />
“ChiChi!” Gokou was at her side in no time. She moaned softly as he picked her up and placed her on Gohan's sickbed. Gohan looked fearfully into her face, but his father ruffled his hair comfortingly. “Your mom is not doing well, but I still have the beans.” He fished three out of the pouch on his belt and handed them to Gohan. "Give each of the three one. I rely on you."
<br />
<br />
In the meantime Piccolo hadn't let Ramagi out of sight for a second. Gokou couldn't be fooled by the way he crossed his arms, looked at his counterpart without a visible expression of anger. He had known Piccolo long enough to feel the barely perceptible tension and the simmering anger that was in no way inferior to his own.
<br />
"You're too early, Ramagi," said Piccolo. "We have agreed on something else.The three days are not over yet and this is not the gorge ... "
<br />
<br />
Ramagi shrugged. "I don't have to keep my word to a Namekian."
<br />
"You know the guy, Piccolo?" Asked Gokou, astonished.
<br />
<br />
"Knowing is saying too much," Piccolo said reluctantly. "He appeared in the ravine shortly after you and is obviously after me." Piccolo concentrated on the Irider again. "What do you want from Gohan?"
<br />
<br />
"Nothing really," said Ramagi. "But since he means a lot to you, I wanted to make him recognize the real you and hate you."
<br />
<br />
"Did you send this video?" Gohan asked from the bed, where he put one of the beans in ChiChi's mouth. Under the watchful eyes of her son, she slowly chewed and swallowed the magical cure.
<br />
<br />
"What kind of video?" Asked Piccolo, confused.
<br />
"One thing about your past life," said Gokou with a careful look at ChiChi."It shows the worst scenes of your father's crimes and how you handled me in the tournament."
<br />
Piccolo turned pale and looked over at Gohan, who was fully concentrated on his mother, who made the bean work quickly. Relieved of concern for her, Gohan threw an angry look at Ramagi and an angry look at Piccolo. "Please don't be angry, Piccolo, but I ... after the video I ...", he blushed with embarrassment, stared down at his fingers and couldn't utter a word.
<br />
<br />
The Namek tried in vain to hide the pain that Gohan's words cut through him. "Gohan ..."
<br />
<br />
The Irider grinned contentedly. So his efforts had not been in vain.
<br />
"You underestimate my son", it sounded from the bed, where ChiChi slowly straightened up. She wrapped her arms around Gohan and hugged him. "He's still a little boy and he was sure to be confused, but such a third-rate band will not make him doubt the person who saved his life."<br />
<br />
Not only Ramagi, but also Gokou and Piccolo stared at ChiChi in amazement. She let go of Gohan and turned him towards Piccolo. Gohan still had red cheeks, but he didn't avoid the gaze of his green-skinned friend. His pain evaporated when absolute affection and trust could be read in Gohan's gaze.
<br />
Gohan hopped off the bed and ran around the still frozen Ramagi to Piccolo, who looked down at him with a smile and pressed his hand briefly on his hair before he pushed him over to the beef devil. "Thank you, Gohan ...", he mumbled so softly that only he and the boy could hear.
<br />
<br />
"So much for your great plan", Gokou approached the Irider with far more composure than he actually felt. "If you really want a fight, you can have it, but not here."
<br />
"No, Son, don't interfere. He's my opponent," said Piccolo.
<br />
"He's the enemy of all of us," groaned the beef devil and carefully moved his shoulder."Thanks Gohan, the bean really helped."
<br />
<br />
"Now Muten Roshi," said Gokou. Gohan obediently ran over to the Lord of the Turtles, who had received more than just a headache from the impact and gratefully chewed the bean to heal his broken ribs and sprained spine.
<br />
"Thanks guys, but this guy is a size too big for you two," said Gokou without taking his eyes off the Irider.
<br />
<br />
"And besides, he's mine," Piccolo growled.
<br />
"Ah ... are you becoming violent again, Namek? Destroy, annihilate, extinguish ... your people can do that so well," the Irider blasphemed with biting derision.
<br />
<br />
"Wait a minute," Gokou frowned and shook his head, "aren't you confusing something? The Saiyans, Freezers troops - they made the universe fearful. But the Namekians ... I haven't met anyone except Piccolo, the one Fly what could hurt you ... "<br />
"Exactly!" Said Gohan too. "Dende, for example, is my best friend and has healing powers."
<br />
<br />
"Go ..!", Piccolo wanted to interrupt him warningly, but by then it was already too late.
<br />
"Is ??? Has ???", the Irider's cold look bored into Gohan's eyes. "Are there any Namekians alive besides that?"
<br />
<br />
"But yes," said Gohan unsuspectingly, not seeing Piccolo's warning look or his hand signal. "You found a new planet."
<br />
<br />
For the first time since Piccolo had met the Irider, the latter looked genuinely surprised and shocked. Ramagi's gaze lost its coldness for a moment and gave way to a burning hatred that could take on Vegeta's anger at Freezer.
<br />
<br />
"This plague ... these monsters
