Hi,
<br />
<br />
here is the story that resulted from "Maya & Chiaki". The storyline is a whole new one and the relationships between the characters are a little different.
<br />
This is the first chapter and the whole thing should become a "real book". I don't know if it will work and if it is good enough.
<br />
<br />
Long story short: Have fun reading !!!!
<br />
<br />
<br />
It was a beautiful June morning, the birds were chirping and the sun was shining in the cloudless sky. The wind played lightly with the turquoise curtains on the open window. 15-year-old Maya Kudo was still in her deep dreams in a large bed. A single tear ran down her cheek and a soft sigh escaped her lips. For a short time the girl had always had the same sad dream that she could not remember when she woke up. Her alarm clock was on the dessert next to her bed. It was shaped like a cat and had been a present for her birthday last week.<br />
Maya was turning on her other side when the alarm clock did its job and rang. Slowly she opened her eyes and wiped her hand through her face: "Again I cried in my sleep. What is wrong with me?" With these thoughts the girl wanted to cuddle under her blanket again when she looked fell on the alarm clock. "What, already half past seven? Oh no, I'm late!" With these words Maya jumped out of bed and quickly scurried into the bathroom. She quickly washed and hurried back to her room. She let her gaze wander around, she was glad that her father had allowed her to furnish her own room. The room was decorated entirely in turquoise and white, her favorite colors. Her desk with the PC was on the right wall, on the left under the window was the white couch with the glass table in front of it. Her closet was right next to the door. Next to it was her favorite piece: her mother's dressing table.Yashiro Kudo died very early, when she was just nineteen. She had worked as a photo model before Maya's birth and that's why there were so many pictures of her on the walls. As a result, Maya always had the feeling that her mother was always close by. Her father, Keiichi Kudo, was a doctor and the head of the Shinzoo private clinic.
<br />
The girl had just reached her closet when she let her nightgown slide onto the floor. She quickly put on her school uniform; this consisted of a dark blue pleated skirt with a matching vest and a white blouse.
<br />
After Maya unzipped her skirt, she sat at the dressing table to comb her blonde hair. As she ran the brush through her hair, her gaze fell on the photo that stood next to the lighted mirror. It showed a happy young family: Yashiro, Keiichi and Maya. The picture was taken on Maya's third birthday, shortly before her mother's death.<br />
Her hair fell far down her back in soft natural curls. "You see mom, I have as long hair as you do now," the girl whispered and looked at herself in the mirror. "But I can't open it today," she thought and plaited a braid that she tied with a blue bow at the bottom. Her eyes fell on her watch, it was shortly after eight. The girl quickly took her school bag and left her room. After closing the door, she went down the hall to the stairs. Her room, along with her father's bathroom and bedroom, was on the first floor. Here, too, there were countless pictures of Yashiro, Maya and Keiichi on the corridor walls.
<br />
The thick carpet muffled any sound as she jumped down the last few steps. Then she went to the right to the kitchen, where her father was already sitting at the breakfast table. She ran up to him and kissed his cheek. "Morning dad," Maya began as she packed her lunch bag in her school bag, "I'll be home later.Today I will find out if I can take part in the Japanese championships in rhythmic gymnastics. "" Then I wish you the best of luck. Shall we do something together tomorrow? Because I'm free. "Keiichi took another sip of coffee and looked at his daughter questioningly." Oh yes. Can we go to the Tokyo Tower? We haven't been there for so long. "Maya was immediately very enthusiastic about this idea." She really looks more and more like her mother from day to day, "thought Keiichi when he saw how happy she was.
<br />
"Well, now I have to go," with these words the girl said goodbye and went to the front door. There she put on her street shoes and hurried off. Her way to school took her through the Shiba Mall. Maya stopped at the window of the Aoki jewelry store. In the middle of the display was a dreamlike crystal pendant on a dark blue velvet cushion. It was cut in the shape of a heart and attached to a silver chain."It's great. I'll ask Dad if he'll buy it for me." The girl was really lost in thought when suddenly someone gave her a pat on the back. She winced slightly and turned around. Behind her stood a boy in a dark blue suit and white shirt, that was the uniform of her school: the Biwa High. "What is that supposed to mean? Leave me alone," determined she tried to push past the boy. She had almost made it when he suddenly got hold of her right arm and yanked her back. Then he pressed her back to the window and held her shoulders. "I like you," he stared at her with his fawn eyes. Maya returned his gaze speechless, he looked cute, with his dark blonde hair that hung wildly in his face. “What is he actually thinking?” At these thoughts she tore herself away with a jerk and ran away without saying another word. The boy looked after her a little longer: "I've been looking for you for so long and now I've finally found you, Maya-chan!"<br />
<br />
After a few minutes, Biwa High School came into view. It was a prestigious school with a very long tradition. It was one of the few schools in all of Japan that only accepted children from wealthy parents. A fairly high school fee had to be paid every year, plus the extremely difficult entrance and promotion tests. But the middle and upper grades were on the same school grounds.
<br />
The school yard was surrounded by a high wall and a cast iron sign with the name of the school hung over the gate. Maya had just entered the school yard when her gaze fell on the large clock that hung over the entrance to the main building. "Oh, that's going to be close," she thought and quickened her pace again. Already she arrived at the large entrance door and she opened it with a swing. Inside the building, Maya ran straight to the stairs on the left and climbed them quickly, always taking them two steps at a time.A short time later the girl arrived on the third floor. There was no one to be seen in the hall when Maya arrived at her classroom. In front of the door she took another deep breath and then entered the room.
<br />
"Hi Maya, you were lucky. Ms. Nekoi is not there yet," with these words a black-haired girl came up to her. That was Sasami Monou, her best friend. The two girls also trained together in the rhythmic gymnastics club. Maya felt a load off her heart, otherwise it would have been the third time this week that she would have been late. When she put her bag on her table, she asked: "You Sasami, where is our teacher?" "As far as I know, a new one is supposed to come today. He seems to be late," Sasami answered and sat up your place. Maya was just about to say something when the class door opened and the teacher entered the room. Ms. Nekoi was Maya's class teacher and taught English and mathematics."So, everyone in your place. Here is a new classmate: Chiaki Minazuki," she pointed to the boy who had entered the class behind her, "be nice to him." Maya couldn't believe her eyes, that was the boy she'd met at the mall a few minutes ago. The girl slumped and she felt the blood rush to her face. Turning to the boy, the teacher said: "Chiaki, there is still a table next to Maya, please sit down there."
<br />
"Hopefully he doesn't recognize me," thought Maya, trying to hide behind her open math book. Chiaki walked through the rows and when he got to his seat a fleeting smile crossed his face. There she was, who he had been looking for for so long: Maya Kudo. He didn't know the exact reason why he should look for the girl, but it seemed very important.
<br />
After the boy sat down, Ms. Nekoi began checking the attendance register.Maya glanced in the direction of the new classmate and noticed that he was watching her closely. She quickly looked at her book again. "I just have to ignore him. The guy is annoying," thought the girl, trying to concentrate on the lesson.
<br />
A loudspeaker announcement ripped Maya out of her mind: "Attention, Kudo-san and Monou-san from Class 3-1, please come to the director's office immediately. The results of the preliminary rounds have just come." Sasami turned to her friend and was visibly excited. The two girls had been training hard for several weeks to take part in the Japanese championships. Ms. Nekoi put down the chalk with which she had written the math problems on the blackboard and said to the class: "Maya and Sasami, you heard it. You can then go."
<br />
The friends got up, bowed briefly to the teacher, and then went to the headmaster's office.The teacher's and director's rooms were in the western annex, which was only a short walk. The girls had already arrived at the office door and Sasami raised her right hand and knocked carefully. "Come in," came a voice from inside the room and the girl opened the door. "Ah, there you are," greeted an older man with gray hair. The director, Mr. Izumi, was sitting at a large desk and next to him was Mrs. Hayashi, the trainer for the two girls. "Please sit down," with these words, Mr. Izumi indicated two chairs in front of his desk. Maya and Sasami sat down and looked at their headmaster expectantly. "The list of participants from the championship arrived today," Mr. Izumi began, "and to cut a long story short, you represent our school. The jury was extremely enthusiastic about your exercises. I wish you the best of luck!" Girls up and said, "Now you
