@Cyron: Are there really any parallels to KKJ? Wasn't my intention !! Well, the rest of the story is guaranteed to have nothing to do with KKJ * gg *. But you can tell me if you don't like something, I am also happy about criticism!

In her mind, Yue strode down the dark corridor. Burning torches were fastened to the walls at regular intervals and bathed everything in a ghostly light with their twitching flames. The shadows dance on the walls as the young man brushed a strand of his shiny silver hair from his face. He could still remember the first time he had come down this corridor. That was fifteen years ago, he had just been ordained a magician of the first degree, when Queen Re-ika summoned the then ten-year-old to him. Re-ika ruled the land of nightmares and although she had ruled there since the beginning, she didn't look a day older than seventeen.<br />
Yue's thoughts returned to the present. In the meantime he had reached his destination and entered a large underground cave. In the middle was a stone throne, it was a real eye-catcher and almost the only piece of furniture. He stood on a pedestal that had to be climbed over five steps, which were roughly hewn out of the rock. Only to the left of the throne was the holder for the queen's crystal ball. The lighting consisted only of burning torches, so that it was difficult to see all the details. Re-ika stood imploringly in front of the shiny ball and looked very intently at the inside.
<br />
The young magician had now reached the lowest step from the throne and dropped to his knees. He lowered his purple eyes to the floor and waited patiently until the queen noticed him. "Yue," Re-ika spoke to him and he looked up. The Nightmare Queen was a downright beauty. She was very tall, slender, and her snow-white hair came down to the floor.She wore a deep black, long dress and a matching cloak. Both were very richly decorated with embroidery. The young man looked into the cold, black eyes of the woman to whom he had dedicated his life as a child.
<br />
“Did you finally find the key?” Re-ika looked at her servant expectantly. Yue lowered his gaze to the floor again: “Sorry, your Highness, but I couldn't find a trace of the key so far.” The queen could barely contain herself, and her eyes went ice cold when her voice went dangerously low: “Bring I will finally get results, otherwise you will be punished! You know what happens to those who do not fulfill their tasks! "Yue winced, he knew what threatened him in the event of his failure: the eternal sleep in the land of nightmares, without to ever wake up again. The young man nodded and looked up again: "You can be sure that I will do everything in my power to find the key!"A cold smile played around Re-ika's lips:" Then that's fine. "She turned back to her crystal ball. She held her hands over the shiny surface and mumbled something to herself in another language. The ball began to glow violet and a mysterious glitter emanated from her. The ruler of the nightmare land spoke the the following words as if in a trance: "The heir to the throne of the dreamland has been reborn in this world! "Re-ika shook her head briefly, as if she wanted to get it free again. It was as if someone else had said this sentence in her voice. Abruptly she turned back to her servant:" You know what you have to do have: Find the princess of the dreamland. She must never come into possession of the key. "She raised her right arm and stretched her palm forward. Now she concentrated briefly and blue lightning flashed around her hand and the air began to shimmer. Now clouds of mist rose from the ground, condensed and human outlines formed inside."Then the fog disappeared just as suddenly, revealing a young woman with olive-green eyes and pointed ears. She had short green hair and was dressed in a black leather mini skirt and a black leather top. "Yue," said Re-ika to the magician, "that's Ne-ine. She is fully at your disposal. To find the dream princess, you have to steal people's beautiful dreams. Ne-ine has the ability to make these dreams to materialize as pearls. Bring me many of these dream pearls, so that I can become stronger and finally conquer the land of beautiful dreams. "Now Yue rose again and bowed again briefly to the queen before he and Ne-ine to teleported from his hiding place in Tokyo.

Before the lunch break, English was on the schedule. It was actually one of Maya's favorite subjects, along with sports and music, but today she couldn't really concentrate on that language. She crossed her arms on the table and rested her head on it.So she let her thoughts drift and without wanting to, her eyes closed. There it was again, the dream that she had had for some time now: she only saw a figure shrouded in fog and heard a voice that seemed neither male nor female, which said to her: "Protect the key and find it your companions! You are our only hope! "
<br />
“Maya Kudo, are you sleeping?” A loud voice tore her from her dream. Slowly the girl opened her eyes, she didn't know exactly where she was until she suddenly saw the angry face of her class teacher. Suddenly she was wide awake and quickly jumped up. Her chair fell over with a loud rumble and the whole class laughed. Maya felt the blood rush to her face. "Sorry," she muttered. "Please wait in the hallway until the end of the lesson," said Ms. Nekoi sternly and turned back to the other students. Maya got up and went out. After closing the door, she went to the opposite window and looked out into the schoolyard.She looked at the big old oak trees that grew around the school building. There were benches all around the trunks, inviting you to linger. The sun was shining and made interesting shadow play appear on the floor. The light wind kept creating new patterns. Maya suddenly noticed a girl of about the same age with short auburn hair. She wore a brown suit and a cream-colored blouse with a red bow. Accordingly, this girl went to the neighboring Hanazuka Middle School. The stranger looked up at her and for a moment their eyes met. Maya felt a sense of familiarity that she could not understand herself because she had never seen this other girl before.
<br />
Then she heard the door open behind her back and so she turned around. “So, Maya,” said Ms. Nekoi, who was now standing in the door frame, “you can come back in.” Maya nodded and looked out the window again.She was disappointed to see that the other girl had disappeared again.
<br />
Ms. Nekoi pushed her student into the classroom and just as she closed the door, the doorbell ended the English lesson. Maya walked through the rows to her seat and happened to catch a glimpse of Chiaki. He winked at her and so she quickly looked the other way. When she got to her table, she put the school books in her bag. She and Sasami had special training for the tournament for the next three school hours, so the two friends went together towards the gym. "Have you already chosen a music for your freestyle?" Sasami looked at her friend questioningly. "Not yet," replied Maya, "and you?" "No, I can't really make up my mind," the girl shook her head helplessly.
<br />
The two friends arrived on the first floor and Sasami opened the front door. In the school yard, the girls walked around the main building to the right.At the far end of the playground was a new building painted white. The old sports hall was demolished two years ago and the new hall was built in the same place. It had been inaugurated four months ago at the annual school festival.
<br />
The two girls entered the building and went to the locker room. Maya took her white leotard and her short turquoise T-shirt out of her gym bag and changed. Sasami was still rummaging around in her bag when her friend stood in front of her and put her hands on her sides. "Well, you snail," laughed Maya, "hurry up." "Yeah, well, it's okay," with these words Sasami took out her red and white suit. She quickly changed her clothes and hurried after her friend, who had already gone ahead. Shortly before the door of the hall she had caught up with Maya. “Why didn't you wait for me?” Sasami found that very unfair, because she always waited for Maya. "Sorry," she got in reply, "today is just not my day."<br />
Ms. Hayashi was already waiting for the two girls: "Maya, you are training with the ball today. You know that you still have difficulty catching it correctly, so practice diligently. Sasami, you take the hoop. So and now start. "The girls nodded and got the required equipment. Then they stood up and began training in silence. Ms. Hayashi was very pleased to see the progress her two students were making.

<br />
The lunch break had just started when Chiaki strolled down the schoolyard. Then he came to a bench at the back of the school yard. Once there, he sat down and folded his arms behind his head. Satisfied, he closed his eyes because he had already successfully completed the first part of his task. He found Maya Kudo. The boy let his mind wander. About two years ago he had had this strange dream for the first time that made him look for the girl.<br />
He still remembered well how he came to in this hospital in Chiba, a neighboring town to Tokyo, and he didn't even know his name anymore. The attending doctor had told him at the time that his name was Chiaki Minazuki and that his parents had died in a serious car accident. He would have survived this as the only one. The following night he had it for the first time. It was always the same dream that he had regularly from then on. He saw the outline of a woman, but he could never see anything more precise because she was surrounded by clouds of mist. A voice then said to him: "Find Maya Kudo! She has the key!" Since then the boy had hoped that he would find his memory again,
