Fanfic: Maya & Chiaki (5)

Chapter: Maya & Chiaki (5)

Hello,
<br />
<br />
I decided to upload the 5th part today.
<br />
<br />
@Cyron: I said yes, if you don't like the story "Majunga-The Land of Dreams", I'll take it down again. The stealing with the dream is explained correctly in the further course of the story and with Chiaki, that he reacts in this way, also has a different reason than with KKJ. All I can say about Shinichi is that I like the name so much, that's why I took it. Okay, I'm not angry with you and you can keep your head * gg *. So should I take Majunga down or not ??

<br />
So now enough with the foreword! Have fun while reading!!!

It was well after midnight when the girls finally went to sleep. That night Azusa had a strange dream.
<br />
She saw the Himatori Temple where she and Yoko had been trained as miko priestesses. Inside the temple on a large, richly decorated altar stood the mystical chalice.He was surrounded by a glowing glow. On this fateful day, Azusa was on duty with Yoko. The prayer rooms had to be cleaned. This work was done in silence. Suddenly the air began to shimmer and white smoke came out. The priestesses covered their eyes and when the smoke cleared again, a tall man was standing in the room. That was the magician Dabura and he walked purposefully towards the altar. Yoko and Azusa stood in his way. “Stop, not a step further,” said Azusa to the magician, “even you are not allowed in here, Master Dabura!” “You cannot stop me,” with these words Dabura raised his right arm. The palm of the hand pointed in the direction of the priestesses as he gave an "Ascud!" hurled the girls against the opposite wall. That was only a small part of his power. The attack had come too surprising that they didn't have the time to fight it off. Yoko was the first to get up."Mindstorm!" with that the priestess attempted a counterattack. But this cold spell couldn't get through the wizard's barrier. It was desperate, but maybe the girls would still have a chance if they combined their strengths. While they were still thinking, Dabura was almost at the altar. "Firewall!" that was the most powerful saying the girls knew. This heat spell sent a huge wall of flames through the prayer room. They saw Dabura disappear into the flames and was no longer to be seen. The priestesses looked at each other: should they really have managed to stop the magician? Dabura had been locked in for over a minute when suddenly the fire went out with a loud bang. The wizard was not injured and had already reached the altar. There he took the goblet in his hands and picked it up. The glow that had surrounded the goblet went out and it just looked old and even a little shabby.No one who saw it now would have thought that the chalice had enormous powers. "Ha, ha, ha, finally it's mine," said Dabura, turning around. Now all he had to do was use the transport spell to get to safety. But that type of spell took more than just pronouncing the right words. The magician had to concentrate very hard and the two priestesses knew that too. They faced him one last time. Dabura hadn't quite finished the spell when the girls joined forces to attack. Since she could no longer use a spell, they attacked him with their bare hands. The wizard was only distracted for a brief moment and the miko priestesses hoped it would be enough to stop him. The air began to shimmer and Dabura disappeared.
<br />
Azusa opened her eyes. Slowly more and more memories came back. She knew that it was her destiny to protect Maya, even with her life if necessary!With this certainty, the girl fell asleep again.
<br />
Maya tossed restlessly from side to side. She slept badly because she also had a strange dream.
<br />
About a year before Dabura stole the chalice, King Junta summoned the two miko priestesses. On these days they should be given their real task. The two girls were to become the princess' bodyguards and protect them from all dangers. So they knelt in front of the queen and swore to protect Maya at the risk of their own lives. The queen told the girls about the princess's destiny. That was part of the ritual and with the help of her magic she let the past come back to life in front of the two girls.
<br />
On the day Princess Maya was born, the queen had a vision. She saw how Dabura stole the chalice and Majunga went under. Only the heir to the throne could stop him. The elven blood in her veins ensured that the baby had incredible magical powers.However, these were so strong that the Queen made sure that these powers were sealed deep inside. That was best for everyone's protection. The princess was destined to save the country. But these forces were so strong that Maya would have accidentally destroyed her home. Her mother had known that even before she married Junta. One of the high elves' abilities was that they could see into the future, and it almost always came that way. However, that her daughter, who was newly born at the time, was destined not only to save Majunga but also the earth, the Queen could not have foreseen that.
<br />
Maya woke up and finally she realized that she had a very important task. The moon was still in the sky and Maya considered how she should awaken her powers. She had no idea how the spell was supposed to work. Nor did she know who to ask.
<br />
While she was lying there, she finally fell asleep again.<br />
