rigid, only his eyes shimmered softer and his fingers squeezed Bulma's cold hand.<br />
<br />
"We can do it!" He heard himself say. "What Kakerott and Chichi have done, we can do it too. I would have laughed."
<br />
<br />
The glow in Bulma's eyes almost blinded him. He said "we". He had realized it was his child. She closed her eyes and looked inside for new strength. She could feel the warmth of his hand, the pressure of his fingers. When she got home she would make him pay for his doubts. Oh yes, he would have to apologize and make it up to you. Some things occurred to her that she would love to do to him, very wicked things .... The feeling was wonderful. It was warm ... like a blanket. Quiet, silence, she was so tired ...
<br />
"We're losing her!"
<br />
<br />
The startled cry of the doctor pulled Vegeta out of his thoughts. A swarm of doctors and nurses seemed to appear out of nowhere and pounce on Bulma. Before he knew it, he was pushed aside and Bulma's limp fingers slipped from his hand.The window in the back, through which the rays of the autumn evening sun shone on the bed, Vegeta watched the action as if from a great distance.
<br />
<br />
It couldn't be true.
<br />
<br />
It couldn't be true.
<br />
<br />
"Caesarean section?" Asked one of the doctors.
<br />
<br />
"Much too risky," waved another man off.
<br />
<br />
"Oxygen!" Shouted the first.
<br />
<br />
The senior physician waved to one of the nurses: "Are the results of the laboratory there yet?"
<br />
<br />
The nurse shook her head. "No, but they should be ready any second."
<br />
<br />
Vegeta couldn't take it any longer. "Do something!" He called out loud. The doctors looked at him, saw his glowing aura, felt the despair and sensed that if he let himself go, the whole hospital, even the whole city, could be razed to the ground.
<br />
<br />
"Stop it!"
<br />
<br />
The head nurse stepped up to him resolutely and slapped him on the face.Vegeta's aura died and he winced.
<br />
<br />
"You shouldn't upset your wife!" Said the head nurse. "Go on, go over there. Call them! Get them back!"
<br />
<br />
"But ... but sister ..." interjected the chief doctor. One look from her and he fell silent.
<br />
<br />
Vegeta rummaged mercilessly through the crowd, looked down at Bulma's relaxed face and cursed unabashedly. "You idiot! If you leave me now, I'll kill you!" Feeling that words alone would not reach her, he bent down and kissed her. Kissed her with all the passion that had been pent up for months.
<br />
<br />
When he raised his head and took a deep breath to call her name again and utter a few wild threats, he felt a gentle, careful touch on the back of his neck. He felt for it and got hold of slender fingers. "Bulma?"
<br />
<br />
"You don't have to apply that thick straight away, Vegeta," she muttered, opening her eyes."I just wanted to rest a little ..."
<br />
<br />
"You can do that when you've done your job," Vegeta growled and took a deep breath. "Never scare me like this again, you hear!"
<br />
<br />
"At your command," she joked, giving the doctors a fearful look. "My child, is my little Trunks okay?"
<br />
<br />
"Don't worry, the oxygen supply has not fallen below the limit," said the chief doctor, relieved. "The other values are also stable."
<br />
<br />
“Good!” She grabbed Vegeta's hand. "The next woe, it is coming!"
<br />
<br />
Vegeta was amazed to see that the delicate fingers had amazing strength. They squeeze his together while her delicate body convulsed. At that moment the door was thrown open and a nurse rushed in, holding a sheet of paper in his hand, "The values of the laboratory! We have the green light!"
<br />
<br />
The chief doctor immediately took out a prepared syringe and gave it to Bulma.From then on everything went very quickly.
<br />
<br />
Vegeta, who wasn't really prepared for what was going on during the actual birthing process, turned pale and green in the face at the sight of the blood-smeared little head. But since it was about his honor and above all the comparison with Kakerott, he persevered until the little Trunks lay dry and clean in Bulma's arms.
<br />
<br />
The doctors and nurses stole away to leave the small family to their luck.
<br />
"Do you want to hold him?" Asked Bulma, almost shyly. "I'm sorry he doesn't have black hair ..."
<br />
<br />
Vegeta, unsure whether he would break something so precious with his brute strength, stretched out his arms. Bulma, washed and combed and happy as never before in her life, laid her newborn son in his father's arms.
<br />
<br />
Vegeta looked down at the little creature and hugged it gently to his chest.<br />
Bulma leaned back and smiled blissfully. "Isn't he beautiful, our son?"
<br />
Vegeta couldn't utter a word, but all unsaid words were in his eyes and Bulma understood.
<br />
<br />
He would never say it, but it wasn't necessary. Vegeta, who had experienced so much violence, he whose destructiveness could turn planets into dust, he was speechless at the miracle he held in his arms.
<br />
<br />
His lips curled up and Bulma wondered why this little gesture meant so much to her, why her heart overflowed.
<br />
<br />
It was ... just a smile.
<br />
<br />
End of the last part.
