Hey, here I am again. I'm glad you liked my story. Many thanks for your coming.
So have fun reading
The vampire stood in a dark corner and looked angrily after the two of them. The lord certainly wouldn't be pleased that he'd let her get away. And besides, he now had to look for another victim again to quench his thirst. * I was so close to making it. If that stupid angel hadn't come, I would have done it. But no, he had to interfere. * he thought grimly. He started walking around town looking for the new victim. There weren't very many people around at that time.
Except for a few drunken revelers who slept on the street. But he didn't want them because he got drunk with their blood and his master wouldn't tolerate it. The night was cold and damp and he was comfortable. After combing the streets for a long time and not finding anyone he liked, he decided to break into a house. He was just near an orphanage. His mouth watered when he thought of the pure and fresh blood of children. He'd suckled all sorts of people, but nothing could compare to children's blood. He ran his tongue over his lips in a demanding gesture and looked for an open window. Finally he found one and climbed the wall with no problem.
The window was only a little open and it wasn't wide enough to fit inside. With a slight curse he took a small knife out of his robe and cut open the glass. The knife had a coat of arms on the handle that showed a small burning heart. He looked at the knife in his hand. It had belonged to his father and was the only corner that connected him to the human world. He was also a half-vampire. The difference between him and many other half-vampires was that he was probably the only one where the father and not the mother had been human. His mother was a very pretty half-vampire. She had been devoted to the Lord, but she had also loved enjoying her freedom as a person. While playing one of her games, she met a very handsome person and fell in love with him. And from this connection he had emerged. He had struggled for his position all his life because his mother had fallen out of favor at the time. Because of this, he was not raised between humans like all other half-vampires. He was mocked and laughed at because he had a mother who had stepped out of the covenant and was now secretly feeding on animal blood. It was a shame for any vampire to feed on animal blood.
It had even become a sign between them of how deep a vampire had sunk. Since he was raised between vampires and his mother was no longer in the covenant, he did not see her very often and he had only seen his father once in his life.He just looked at him sadly and said "Never forget that you are human too!" and then gave him the knife. Then he was gone.
He tore himself out of his thoughts and concentrated again on what he was doing. He slowly drew the knife along the glass and cut it open. Apart from a soft squeak, nothing could be heard. Then he nudged the glass lightly and it fell with a clink on the floor. Even if it sounded very loud to the vampire, he knew that no one had heard it. Vampires could hear up to five times better than humans. He stepped quietly through the window and stood in a small room. It was a poor room and there was no furniture other than a bed. Two small figures lay in the bed and their bodies moved quietly when they breathed. The sight made his blood boil. Slowly he approached the neck of one of the children and quenched his thirst in a helpless child.
Scarlett ran nervously from one corner of her room to the other. Her parents and siblings had all gone to bed long ago. But she was plagued by nightmares. In her dreams she saw her little brother and best friend being killed by a vampire. She had had these dreams before, but they had never seemed so real and tangible to her. Also, she knew that Christal wanted to visit her today and she still wasn't there. Actually, she didn't believe in vampires, nor in angels. But lately she couldn't shake the feeling that she might have been wrong. Especially after she found out that many people in many areas of the city were dying of a mysterious disease.
The strange thing about the disease was that these people only had a third of their blood in their bodies when they died even though they had not bled to death. The doctors despaired of this disease and refused, as she did now, to believe that there could be vampires.* It would be just too absurd ..... wouldn't it? * It was easy to despair. She could no longer think clearly and was pacing back and forth more and more hectically. After walking around for another hour and her feet started to feel like they were burned, she went back to bed. She was still pretty excited, but she was so tired that sleep overcame her despite everything. That's why she was the last to hear of the terrible news the next morning.
Yes yes I know that was again very short but I promise that I will write more next time. GAAAAANZ BIG WORD OF HONOR !!
