Chapter 1
The beginning

Seeing nothing, knowing nothing, a vieolet-haired girl walks down a long, dark corridor. Her arms are outstretched, her mouth forms words that cannot be understood, but the appearance of helplessness can be seen in her eyes. She runs, but doesn't get any closer to her goal. The girl grows weaker and the darkness becomes more and more distressing, until she loses sight of her goal. Now she stood all alone in the black nothing and sank to the ground.
“Ring, ring, ring.” A hand placed itself on the ringing phone and picked up the receiver. "Hello, who is it?" Asked a blonde-haired girl who woke up to the ringing of the phone. A rather high and lively voice replied: "Hey, hey, hey! Wake up you mega-sleepy head. It's Saturday and that means ??? !!!""No idea."
"No, right ?! You can't just have forgotten that!"
"Forgot what? What are you talking about?"
"If I weren't your personal memory, then ....."
"I know then I would be lost. You have already preached this to me for the umpteenth time. Out with the language and woe, it is not important!"
"You can't tell me that you forgot that the new game center opened today. I wrote it down everywhere so we wouldn't be late today! So get dressed, I'll be with you in 20 minutes! That is a direct order. Goodbye. "
"What you can ...", Dera couldn't finish her sentence because she interrupted the hang-up signal. "It pisses me off that she always manages to put her head through. Why do I even listen to her and, above all, what does she think of waking me up so early! It's just 8:46 am," with These and a few other curses on everything that bothered her, Dera changed.7 minutes later, she finished getting dressed, brushing her teeth, and washing. Only her blonde hair was still in bunches and uncombed. Since it was summer, she wore jeans hotpans and a turquoise top, which underlined her green eyes. Dera went to the fridge to get some food, but when she opened it she saw the dilemma. Yawning emptiness from top to bottom, except on the side. There were still a few drinks standing around. Dera clapped her hand on her forehead and stumbled, overdoing it and feeling dizzy. "Oh no. I forgot to go shopping and the drink must already have expired. Well, what the heck, then I'll get something on the way," with these words she closed the refrigerator, went to a shelf and got one Bottle of water. She walked through the house and thought that it is nice to be home alone for the summer vacation without parents. The only problem was that most of her friends were away and she had no idea what to do.The holidays were just beginning and there were 10 weeks ahead of her without school and friends. The only one who stayed here drove away in 3 days and today was the only day where she still had time. After she had finished half the bottle, Dera got up to comb her hair. A few minutes later the doorbell rang and a blue-haired girl was waiting impatiently for her to enter. When Dera opened the door, the blue-haired girl immediately spoke to her: "Are you ready? We'd better go right away, otherwise we'll be late!" Dera pulled the girl into the house, closed the door and turned to her visitor: "Angel, you are really excited! Now take a deep breath, okay?"
"I think I'm better again. You don't even know how excited I am."
"Well, look forward to it, we have to make a detour, I have to buy something to eat."
"Dera, we're too late. You can get something there!"Angel Dera then walked across the room, took the keys and the packed rucksack, and went outside with her. They quickly locked the house and then went to the newly opened games center.
"Don't fish that fast. I'm hungry and then I just can't run!"
"Oh, don't you like that. We'll be right there and the faster we run, the faster you can eat something."
"Why didn't you say that right away ?!"
So Dera quickened her pace.
"Heh Dera. Not so fast, I hardly come with you!"
The two friends turned and suddenly stopped because what they saw left them speechless. In front of the two was a street with many shops, like a shopping mall. But it didn't have the usual fashion boutiques, but gambling halls.
"Dera, pinch me. I think I'm dreaming!"
"Have you ever seen something gigantic like this? I always thought they were exaggerating."
"I told you right away that it was true."
Then Angel ran towards the first arcades and Dera followed her."Heh Dera, I thought you were hungry?"
"Oh not now. Look here," Dera pointed to the large advertising signs and read: "The summer holidays are over because of the opening of a free game."
"That's really cool, let's try everything!"
Said and done. The two of them went straight to the first hall and since there were few students here for the holidays, it was pretty empty. Dera looked around, there were lots of game consoles standing around here. One could shoot aliens, then use your strategies elsewhere and there were even more directions. After looking around, she caught sight of a console with the label "Soul Hunter" on it. She had heard a lot about this game.
"Dera, what kind of game is this" Soul Hunter "?" She was suddenly asked by Angel who was looking at the console curiously.
"It's supposed to be an RPG about stopping the soul hunters. It's supposed to be a lot of magic and you have choices."
"Well then, sounds interesting.Let's try this out first! "
The two sat down at the Soul Hunter console and immersed themselves in the game.
