Raika Hygome sat dreaming in the car and stared straight ahead.
"Hey little one. It doesn't matter that we're moving!" Aianomi Nominora said smiling, blinking through her sunglasses, and nudging her lightly.
Aianomi Nominora was Raika's cousin and has lived with Raika since her parents' accident in which they were killed. She was 16 and therefore 1 year older than Raika and did the housework, since Raika's father was a lawyer and her mother was an actress and were hardly at home.

The car stopped with a squeak. Raika leaned back and looked out the window and saw a large house.Suddenly the door opened and her mother stood in the door. "Do you want to come in or do you stay seated?"
"I'm coming on!" she said and got out and grabbed her purse. She blinked and walked across the large garden to the house.
Aianomi stood in the doorway and looked at her over her sunglasses.
Raika walked up to her and Aianomi gave her a short hug. "You'll have a good time here too and you'll quickly become popular again."
Raika nodded and Aianomi let go of her.
"I know it!" said Raika and suddenly grinned. "I am desired again with my beauty."
Raika walked past her and Aianomi closed the door.

After a week, Aianomi entered Raika's room. Raika was lying in her bed reading. She looked up and smiled at Aianomi. She sat on the edge of the bed and looked at her smiling. "Now you've really settled in!"

"Raika!" said Aianomi disapprovingly."This is your new home now."
"I know, I know!" said Raika.
"Aunt and uncle just called. They won't be back until tomorrow evening."
Raika rolled her eyes. "Uncle is on a business trip and aunt has to go to Tokyo today!"
"Why do you still call them uncle and aunt?" she asked and leaned back. "They treat you like their child and you are like a sister and friend to me.!"
Aianomi smiled at her and gave her a quick hug. "I know.."
Suddenly the doorbell rang and Aianomi went downstairs.
Raika picked up her newspaper again and read on, she heard Aianomi talking to someone.

Early in the morning on the first day of school:
Aianomi knocked on the bathroom door. "What are you doing in there?"
"Put me on what else!" Raika said muffled through the bathroom door.
"We have to go!!" said Aianomi.
Raika came out and went to the kitchen.

After a few minutes the two were on their way to school.
"How is the school like?" asked Raika."She's okay!" Aianomi said with a shrug.
"Who were you talking to downstairs yesterday?" asked Raika.
Suddenly a young man appeared next to Aianomi.
"Hey honey. Finally you are here permanently." he said and kissed her mouth briefly.
Raika gave her a funny look and whispered to her. "Who is that?"
"Oh, I completely forgot that." she said and looked at them both in embarrassment. "So may I introduce ... my cousin Raika - my boyfriend Heiji Hatori. He's a student detective."
Raika looked at her inquiringly. "There are more than enough detectives in this school and a very cute one goes to your class." Aianomi whispered with a grin.
"You're a class above me right?" she asked back.

"I'll tell you right away that it's hard to get in there!" said Ellis sadly.
"She's already trying to get in there twice!" Aianomi whispered explanatory.
Raika nodded and smiled at her. "I'll definitely get in there."
"I'm not so sure about that!" said Aianomi. "You're tougher than our old school."
"But you did it too! So I can do it too!" said Raika with a smile.
"Right!" Aianomi said and rolled her eyes slightly.
"Are the boys here such milkboys too?" Raika asked with a smile.
"No not so great!" said Ellis with a smile.
Suddenly, two boys ran past them, playing Fange.
"And you don't call them milk boys?" Raika asked with a smile.They arrived at the school a little later.
"Now we really have to hurry up and get up quickly." Aianomi said and said goodbye to Ellis and Raika.
Then Aianomi and Heiji disappeared into school.
"We have sport now." said Ellis and pulled Raika behind him.

"Do you see?" said Raika with a smile and looked around. She was standing in the school yard with Aianomi and the other two.
She looked around and saw a handsome young man.
"Ah there it is!" said Aianomi and walked up to him. She first spoke to this boy for a while and then went to the others with him in tow.
"May I introduce Raika !? That is Shinichi Kudo- and that is Raika. I already told you about her!" said Aianomi.
"Hey sweetie!" Shinichi said and kissed her hand.
"Hey !!" said Raika smiling.

After school, Raika and Shinichi went home together. Aianomi had been out for an hour.So she went home with Shinichi.

They walked home in silence for a while.
Then she stood in front of her house. "Bye I live here!"
"Wow, I live in the next house!" he said.

Raika threw herself into Aianomi's arms and the two laughed for a while.
"Where are mom and dad actually?" Raika asked suddenly."They both felt like taking a short vacation!" said Aianomi. "We are alone for 2 weeks."
"Well bravo !!" said Raika and went into the kitchen with Aianomi. "What did you actually do for lunch?"
"Rice and Chicken." said Aianomi. "If the spoiled lady likes it too !!"
"But of course it tastes good ... Hey, I'm not a spoiled lady !!" she said and poked Aianomi on the side.
"Yes, yes! It's good!" said Aianomi with a yawn.
The two of them ate their food in peace and suddenly the phone rang. Aianomi got up and went to the phone.
Raika finished and passed Aianomi.

"Hey sweetie!" said Shinichi's voice suddenly.
