7. The damn Sumani holdover

"Wake up, honey.", Kurin breathed in his lover's ear and gently stroked her long, dark red hair.
"What time is it?" Asked the young mother of his three children and lay in his arms.
"Much too late. Luca is expecting us.", He said and then added quickly. "Unfortunately. Otherwise we would approach the day a little more comfortably." He kissed her carefully on the cheek, but then got up.
Eve stretched extensively and then went to her children. The three little ones were five, three and one year old. The parents moved themselves and the little ones, only to go to an old friend of theirs afterwards.

"I don't want to see Luca," whined little Aya. She had been terrified of the Kargos kind for a few months. Everyone with black hair and dark brown eyes.
"My little one. I'll take care of you. I promise.", Kurin said, while he picked up his little daughter and kissed her affectionately on the cheek.Then the Ika family went off. To get to the night bar village they had to walk a bit.

"Kurin!" Shouted a young Shakal and waved to her big brother. "I wanted to go with you."
"Why the little sister", Kurin asked, eyeing his sister with interest.
"Oh, just like that." "I don't believe you. You just know that Dundler and Bigal are also present. How the hell do you know that? The conference is secret," said the leader.
"Kurin! Stop cursing in front of the kids." Eve moaned at him and shook her head angrily.

"Tell me seriously. Is that why we really came here?" Asked Dundler, pouting. Liana gave him a smile, whereupon he stared at his hands, of course, confused.
"I'd really like to know what happens if we flip a switch?" Asked Kay, reaching for the device.
However, Luca grabbed his hand. "We don't want to take any unnecessary risks here.", Luca whispered at him while glaring at Kay angrily.
"Hey," chuckled Tai and hit a switch. Daio and Rona hadn't noticed that he had crawled across the table and couldn't say no to the interesting toy.All of a sudden the whole room filled with smoke. Liana, Eve and Rona cried out loudly. The children began to cry and the men also panicked and tried to find an exit.
A bright light flashed through the room and just as suddenly as the fog had come, it was gone. And with him those present.
