Chapter 1: Lose yourself in my world
Darkness ... around him nothing but darkness and someone called for him, but his voice faded away in the eternal space of the approaching time. And so he began to run, not knowing where to or why, his way led on and on until he was completely out of breath in a large square. He knew this place, here he had to fight so many fights, suffered so many defeats, this place he would never be able to forget, because it was the Blitzballstadium. Everything had started here and everything would probably end here, he was completely sure of that. Steps came closer, many steps and loud laughter echoed unreally from the sides. “Hey Tidus, there you are, we've been waiting for you!” He turned around and saw his teammates running up to him, beaming with joy. But before they had reached him, the picture blurred in front of him and he felt a stabbing, almost glowing pain, so that he woke up drenched in sweat. His heart was still pounding wildly and his short, blonde hair was drenched in sweat, just as his bare torso was visible under the half-thrown blanket. The taste of blood lay on his tongue, while his eyes burned like fire. What did this dream mean, why in a lightning ball stage and why in Zanerkand of all places, his former home, which he had given up for his great love Yuna. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't think of a sensible answer to all of his questions and so he got up and went outside into the fresh air. Cool wind washed around him and blew all his worries away, leaving only a feeling of eternal happiness. Steps came closer and Tidus knew, even without turning around, who was coming to him.
"What are you doing out here? Did you have a nightmare?" Yuna put her hand lovingly on his right arm as she stood right next to him. "Yes and no.I dreamed of Zanerkand. "He looked intently at Yuna, but she just frowned thoughtfully." But if you have dreamed of Zanerkand, why is it so depressing you? You were part of her too. "Yuna turned to him, her eyes, one bright green and the other azure blue, looking at him questioningly." I don't know either, I ... "Tidus broke off and lowered his gaze." On the one hand, would like you back, but on the other hand you want to stay here in Spira too. Am I not right? "Tidus nodded barely noticeably, avoiding the gaze of his lover." In Zanerkand I was just a dream in a dream world, dreamed by others, but here in Spira I am real, I am no longer just a dream. But somehow I still miss Zanerkand, even if it was just a dream. "He looked up and saw that Yuna had her eyes closed and her muscles tensed. And without answering, she turned and went back into the house and Tidus felt that he seemed to have hurt her, but something held him back and instead of going back into the house, he stayed where he was and leaned his head back. And the most beautiful starry sky he had ever seen shone above him, but this idyll was threatened by dark clouds. Inevitably he had to start smiling, as the starry sky was similar to the one a few years ago when he kissed Yuna for the first time, in the middle of the lake. Sadly, Tidus lowered his gaze and turned around and went down to a meadow, where he lay on his back, closed his eyes and thought of the past, and soon fell asleep blissfully.
Shadows and light played in front of his eyes and the morning wind caressed his hair lovingly. Birds sang somewhere in the distance and the leaves rustled like soft whispers. Although Tidus was already awake, he still lay there and kept his eyes closed, this idyll was too beautiful for him to be able to tear himself away from it. The play of light and shadow in front of his eyes became faster and faster and the wind increased and he shivered a bit.The former gentle rustling of the leaves now sounded like the threatening hiss of a wild animal and everything else suddenly seemed more threatening and dangerous. “Tidus wake up, we have to go.” Frightened, he jumped up and looked confused into the eyes of Yuna, who had bent over him with her most beautiful smile. "Have you already forgotten? We wanted to visit Rikku and Paine." Tidus still didn't seem to understand Yuna when suddenly recognition crept into his face. He got up slowly but did not turn to her. “What do you have, don't you want to come with me?” At that very moment Tidus turned around and ran up to her and took her lovingly in his arms and hugged her tightly to his heart. "Yuna, I want to stay with you for all the time in the world. You are my life." This now seemed confused for her part, because she only looked at him questioningly when he let go of her again. But without saying a word she took his hands in hers and both walked hand in hand up the hill, straight towards the hut, where they both lived together. And less than five minutes later they were ready to go when they heard a loud roar from outside that was getting closer and closer. “What is that?” Tidus passed Yuna, who was standing at the door, and put his hands in front of his face when suddenly a strong wind came up. When the dust settled again, neither of them could believe what they saw there. Not far from their hut, Celsius had landed, the flying ship of the seagulls, with which Yuna and Tidus had already had some adventures.
And just then a young girl came running up to her, beating her arms wildly and screaming loudly. "Yuna! Tidus!" They looked at each other smiling and ran towards the girl in turn. They embraced happily and Yuna could no longer hold back her tears of happiness. "Rikku, nice to see you. But what are you doing here, we should visit you?" She also wiped tears from her cheeks and beamed happily. She was still wearing the same clothes as on her last adventure and nothing else seemed to have changed about her, except for her hair, which had grown quite a bit. "It was Paine's idea. She said it would be cool if we came to visit you, as a kind of surprise, of course." And at that moment a tall, slim woman stepped out of the shadows, her short, black hair shimmering in a dull Silver tone as it moved gently to the beat of the weak wind. “Paine, how nice to see you!” Yuna broke away from Rikku and ran towards the woman, who also began to smile and when Yuna stood in front of her, she hugged her lovingly, with tears in her eyes. "Hello little one, I'm glad to see you again." Slowly Yuna broke away from the embrace and more tears ran down her cheeks. "You haven't changed at all, Paine. You are exactly as I remembered you." She also began to smile.“Aunt Yuna, Aunt Yuna!” A little boy, no older than a year old and with telltale red hair, ran up to the two of them and began to laugh as Yuna took him in her arms and spun him around wildly. “Vivedini, don't be so stormy.” As if out of nowhere, Lulu, the black magician, suddenly appeared and put one of her hands on her hips. Yuna paused and just couldn't believe who was standing in front of her. “Lulu, you are here too ?!” Slowly she let go of Vivedini again and ran up to the woman and hugged her stormily. "Well, well Yuna, we haven't seen each other that long either." Lulu stroked her hair lovingly and she too began to smile when Yuna let go of her again. "You look good Lulu, still your beautiful long hair and your dress. It even seems to me that you have become even more beautiful since our last adventure." Lulu started to laugh. "Don't be silly, but Tidus also seems to be very good for you, you are literally beaming with happiness. When do you plan to get married? "Paine started laughing loudly when Yuna just looked at the black magician in confusion." Uh ... Tidus and I, we haven't even talked about it yet. "Slowly she turned and saw Tidus joking around with Vivedini." He would be a good father because he loves children. "Yuna nodded and when Rikku called out something to them, they made their way into the house.
Just when everyone was seated, there was a knock on the door and when Yuna opened it, a rather sleepy Gippal was standing in front of her. “Gippal, oh no, I forgot you completely!” Rikku had jumped up and turned deathly pale. “Not that wild, darling, now I'm here.” Gippal started to grin and Rikku frowned angrily and crossed his arms in front of her chest. "What does darling mean here, huh? Just because we've been together again for a month." Confused, the others looked at Rikku and then at Gippal again and again and began to laugh. And when it was well past midnight, everyone gradually went to bed until only Yuna and Tidus were on their feet.“Come on, let's go to bed too, or I'll fall asleep for you here and now.” Tidus yawned heartily and stood up, stretching himself with relish. But Yuna didn't move, but continued to stare at her crossed fingers. “What is it, is something bothering you?” He came closer and put his arm around her shoulders. She looked up and just shook her head. "No, it's nothing, really. Until ... why haven't we got married yet?" Yuna turned to him, who had now sat down and in turn avoided her gaze. "I don't know. To be honest, I haven't even thought about it. But if you want, then ..." But before he had finished speaking, Yuna had already fallen asleep on his shoulder, on which she had leaned when he sat next to her. "But it would be really wonderful to be your man, Yuna. I love you."
