Hopping from branch to branch he tried to see where she had run. But he could already guess. She must have gone home because she always did when they had arguments.
With one last leap from a tree, he landed in the soft grass and now he was forced to keep walking on the ground. He left the forest behind; ran on to the well and hoped to catch Kagome during this time.
