Chapter 10
-Everything off? -

“What do you mean, you don't love me anymore?” Nodoka looked at her husband in horror, then she looked at the young woman who was grinning stupidly at his arm.
“I just can't help it.” He shrugged his shoulders and turned to his companion.
"What do you mean my darling, I guess I can't leave you alone just to be with her," He pointed to Nodoka, "To move on, right?"
“No, you have to stay here.” Purred this and started kissing him.
"Genma, what will happen to Ranma and ..." She paused and a stab of pain went through her.
"Nodoka don't act like that, I took care of our boy the whole time, now it's your turn. Go now and leave us alone." He didn't even notice that the woman was writhing in pain, only saw the young one and patted her bottom. She laughed and whispered on, she had noticed the pain of the others and was happy that she could do her job so quickly.(If I've separated the two first meals, then they'll never make it back together and the family will die out and Ranma will be gone too, so I can take revenge on Akane.)
“Genma, help me.” Nodoka straightened up a bit and took his hand. Her voice was only a whisper and didn't reach his ear, but his heart reacted and he started back with a start. "What ???" He looked around and saw his wife lying on the floor. “Nodoka, what happened.” The other woman's smile faded and she let out a scream of anger. Genma ignored this, however, he leaned over his wife and held her hand. "Honey, how can I help you, please tell me." He pleaded, but Nodoka was still shaking with convulsions.
“Genma honey, leave her and take me.” Only now did he notice the other woman and stared at her in amazement. “Who are you?” He asked, confused, and was immediately caught up in her beauty again. "I am everything you want."Smiling, she stepped up to him and took his hand." You just have to let go of her and follow me. "She pulled on his hand, but he couldn't let go of Nodoka's hand.
"Genma, please help me." It was just a whisper again, but this time Genma's ear heard it too. “I'll do everything to help you, my darling.” He let go of the other's hand and put his wife's head on his knees. “Everything will be fine.” He stroked her forehead soothingly and waited until the cramps and pain subsided.
The other woman broke up, but she was already waiting for another opportunity. (I'll get it, I swear and if it's the last I do. I'll kill and destroy Ranma's family and then I'll enjoy Akane's suffering, her lover who should have been mine. Had he chosen me , everything would be much easier.)

"Ranma, please come to you." Akane was sitting on his bed and holding his hand. Sweat ran down the boy's forehead and he moved restlessly.He mumbled something to himself, but Akane couldn't understand anything.
"Kasumi, what are we going to do now?" She looked at her big sister, who just came in with cold water.
“I don't know, I called Dr. Tofu, he'll come by as soon as possible.” She put a hand on Akane's shoulder, reassuringly, then took the rag, dipped it in the ice water and put it on Ranma forehead.
Soun entered the room. "Has his condition changed?"
“No, father, I'll be looking for Dr. Tofu.” Kasumi gave Akane another reassuring smile and then left.
"Akane my child, you should lie down and get some sleep." But the girl just shook her head. "I'm not leaving him alone."
“What exactly happened?” Soun sat down next to her and looked down at the boy.
"I don't know, he gave me the chain," she unconsciously took the pendant in her hand, "then it just fell over." A tear ran from her eyes."Do you have any idea what that means?"
"I don't know, maybe ..." But he broke off and the silence spread.
(Can it have something to do with the curse?) Soun pondered, but immediately pushed the thought away.
"Akane." The girl stared at Ranma, who finally opened his eyes and smiled at her. "Why are you crying and why am I in bed?" He straightened up.
"How are you? Are you okay?"
“Yes, what should be.” But slowly his thoughts returned to the dizzy spell and he slowly got up.
"Lie down, Ranma. Dr. Tofu is coming soon." Akane put a hand on his shoulder and pushed him back slightly. But Ranma didn't want to lie down and so he shook off his hand. "No, I'm fine, really. I don't know what that was either."
"I think I know." Tofu came into the room, followed by Soun and Kasumi.
"What the?" she asked and looked at him. But the disastrous mess did not materialize, Dr. Tofu just turned a little red, but then turned to Ranma."Where are your parents?"
“Traveling.” Confused, the boy looked from one to the other. Dr. Tofu nodded and sat down.
"Would you like some tea?" Kasumi asked and when everyone nodded she made her way to the kitchen.
"Have you ever heard of the 'Curse of the Dragon'?" began Dr. Tofu and looked directly at Ranma. But instead of Ranma answering, Soun spoke quietly.
"Yes, that's the bane of Ranma's family."
“What does that mean?” Akane looked from one to the other, confused, and Dr. Tofu began to tell the story of the curse. Meanwhile, Ranma wondered what the curse had to do with his dizzy spell, but he only found one explanation and he didn't like it at all.
"And now it's time to get through this year, or it's just now," Dr. Tofu thought about it.
“It's only 10 months now, a little less.” Ranma's voice was low and he had lowered his face. "If this trip goes wrong, love doesn't last, what will become of me?" he finally asked and looked around."Then you will die too and nobody can do anything about it .." Dr. Tofu looked at the ground and the silence had spread. Kasumi, who overheard the end of the conversation, filled the mugs with tea and everyone in the room had their thoughts.
Akane had tightly gripped Ranma's hand and tears ran silently down her face. Ranma also held her hand as if this connection should not be interrupted.

so this time it's not that exciting but the chapter ends anyway, I hope I'll be able to continue writing soon, but for that I need a few * bribes * :-D hel Inken
