in pain, unable to fight back. He almost passed out, the demon's power weakened him so much that he could no longer get up.The demon laughed and was about to strike again when a dazzling beam hit him. The demon gave a piercing scream and disappeared as quickly as it appeared.
"Checkmate!" shouted Jeanne D`Arc and hurried towards Noin, who was lying unconscious on the floor. Maron, who had watched the whole scene, moved away from the two of them.
Marron felt someone tap her shoulder.
"I told you it was too dangerous for you!"
She turned around and couldn't believe her eyes.
"Chiaki, what are you doing here!" she exclaimed, happy and surprised at the same time. She hugged him stormily and covered his face with kisses.
"Marron, it's so good to see you ..."
"But how did you get here !?"
"Quite simply, Jeanne D`Arc brought me here ... I insisted on going with her!"
"Oh Chiaki, I missed you ...!"
Chiaki took her in his arms and gently stroked her hair.
Jeanne D`Arc knelt next to Noin and touched him.He no longer gave any sign of life.
"Noin ... no, please!" Tears dripped from Jeanne`s eyes and she ran her hair desperately.
Jeanne called Marron and Chiaki over and told them to help her bring Noin to his room.
Noin lay motionless on his bed. Marron thought he looked peaceful and happy, and she even believed he was smiling. She touched his cold cheeks and kissed his forehead gently.
Noin ... you were so good to me.
"Is he dead?" Chiaki wanted to know.
Jeanne shook her head and replied:
"I don't know ... with a demon you never really know."
But Jeanne looked worried, Chiaki thought. Marron moved away from Noin's bed and let Jeanne by his side. Then Chiaki gave a sign and they sat down on the two chairs in the other corner of the room and tried to rest a little.
Jeanne looked into Noin's calm, relaxed face and suddenly had to think of a beautiful scene from her past. She and Noin were walking along a glittering river, it was a hot summer day. Jeanne smiled dreamily when she remembered how she and Noin had made love on the bank all afternoon.
On the way back to the castle, he picked her a whole bouquet of blue roses that grew not far from her favorite spot.
Jeanne didn't notice how tears welled up in her eyes. They were both happy back then ...
My beloved Noin ... we never doubted our love. We had no jealousy, any more than distrust or impatience. We lived anew every day, every day was so full of tenderness and new surprises. Unfortunately, this life lasted far too short ... we had to face our duties as Virgo and Sagittarius.
Oh, if we had just been normal people, we could have been happy all our lives.
Noin, I always thought of you ... there wasn't a day that I didn't pray for you.My love for you has never died and has never diminished. No, it actually got stronger. Now that I've found you again, I don't want to lose you again. Noin, you mustn't die.
The evil king made you a demon, but I don't care. To me you are still Sagittarius, the man I love.
Jeanne kissed Noin on his lips and wished that he would return the kiss. But he didn't move.
Marron suddenly stood next to the bed and looked at Noin. She knelt on the floor, folded her hands and closed her eyes. Jeanne understood and imitated her. Chiaki also approached the two and got on his knees.
All three prayed to God to save Noin and give him his life again. Even if he had turned away from him, he had proven that he could overcome hatred. He deserved a second chance.
Suddenly a soft melody rang out and soft chants could be heard.Jeanne, Chiaki and Marron kept their positions and continued to concentrate.
Suddenly a radiant light shone on Noin's forehead, which spread out in a circle.
Marron opened his eyes and was blinded.
Noin's body changed: his hair got shorter and his clothes ... his shirt didn't come apart. In its place a shiny, golden armor appeared.
Noin opened his eyes ... the dark violet of his pupils brightened, and white light shone from his hands.
An arrow bow slowly formed in the air and floated gently in Noin's hands.
"Sagittarius ...!" whispered Jeanne. "My beloved!"
Sagittarius beamed and dropped the bow. He grabbed Jeanne and gave her a squeeze as if he would never let go of her again.
"We are together...!"
When Sagittarius had spoken these words, the walls of the room suddenly brightened up and finally turned brilliant white. The bedspread, at first dark red, turned golden yellow, and the dark wood of the furniture also changed color.Chiaki couldn't believe it: he had just witnessed a miracle!
Not only had God turned the whole castle back into the beautiful castle it was years ago, he had also brought Sagittarius back from the dead.
Sagittarius rose and looked down at the armor he was wearing. The gold shimmered and sparkled, and an arrow was intricately engraved on the breastplate.
Jeanne had changed too. She wore light, golden armor. It was the Virgin's sacred armor.
Sagittarius took Jeanne by the hand and looked at her, fascinated. He let a strand of her blond hair slide through his fingers and kissed her stormily.
Chiaki took Maron by the arm, pulled her close and ran his fingertip over her lips.
"We can do better than that!" he whispered.
Marron nodded and closed his eyes.
As they kissed, she realized that she had found the love Sagittarius had spoken of.And Sagittarius was right: nothing in the world can be compared to the feeling of love.
