Inuyasha, Miroku, Shippo, Sango with Kiara and Kagome have been on the road for a few days in the hope of encountering Naraku, who is still hiding behind a spell that neither Inuyasha absorbs the smell, nor Kagome the splinter of the jewel could feel four souls.

The bush tipped over and a little girl, about 8 years old, stepped into the clearing. She walked very slowly until she stood in front of the tip of Tessaiga, which Inuyasha was still threateningly holding away from her. The girl smiled happily at Inuyasha, who looked completely puzzled from the laundry. But the others looked just as surprised. Inuyasha put the sword back away. "Just a kid!" He said. Inuyasha grabbed the girl by the neck and picked her up. "What the hell was that?" He asked. Then he looked at Sango, who was supporting Kagome. "How is she?" He asked. But he only held a thick branch in his hand and the girl was gone. He threw the branch to the ground in anger and drew his sword again. "Come on! Where are you?" He asked. Miroku looked at the branch to which a small banner was stuck."The little one wasn't real. She was just an apparition someone sent us!" Said Miroku and wanted to grab the ban. But in the next moment it burned together with the branch and a shining soul rose into the sky. Inuyasha put the sword back away and ran to Kagome while Miroku let the ashes slip through his hands. Kagome's eyes slowly returned to normal and she came to. "Kagome! Kagome! Are you okay?" Inuyasha asked. Kagome looked weakly at Inuyasha. "What happened?" She asked, touching her head. Miroku came along now. "Kagome! What did you see?" He asked. Everyone looked at him questioningly. "Someone sent this soul to us with a purpose. Maybe he wanted to tell us something!", Miroku explained. Kagome tried to concentrate on the last few minutes. But suddenly an almost infinite flood of images streamed in on her. Kagome tensed up so much that the others had the impression for a moment that she was going to collapse.But then she calmed down again. She opened her eyes again and looked at Miroku with her pupils twitching with fear. "What did you see?" He asked again. "Let her calm down first!", Sango scolded, who was now standing in front of Miroku and angrily looked at him. "No! Stop it, Sango!", Kagome said and slowly got up with the help of Inuyasha. Kagome slept through the next morning. When she opened her eyes again, she looked into her mother's face. "Good morning!" She said. Kagome jumped up and looked around. "What happened? How did I get here?" She asked. "Inuyasha brought you. Unfortunately he didn't want to stay!" Said the mother and offered Kagome a plate of chicken broth. "So that you can get back on your feet!", She said. But Kagome kept his legs out of bed and wanted to get up. But she stumbled and fell into her mother's arms. "Not so stormy. Once there, he looked at first at the holy tree, then at the house and finally at the shrine with the well. "Wonderful!" He said. "Goodbye!" Said Kagome and left the house with a big backpack. "Now I have to hurry. I have to tell the others what I saw!", She said and ran to the shrine. But when she got there, the man from the moment was standing in front of the well and stared into it with a smile. "Hello?" Asked Kagome, walking slowly downstairs.
