She had hardly taken her eyes off the watch. Ryou had to be finished with dinner and was probably already on the way to the lighthouse. She'd run out of the Academy's Girls Dorm so quickly that she'd forgotten to bring a jacket. Sure, it was summer, but in the evenings when the wind came up on the sea it could still be very fresh. From a distance she could already hear the call of the seagulls and the sound of the waves, the shallow, cool wind carried the salty smell of the depths with it and drove Asuka to hurry even more. Her heart was pounding with joy. Why did she feel so much joy when she met Ryou? It was just hard to put into words.In the end she saw the quay at the end of which the lighthouse stood, which could show the way to the lost ships that were floating out there on the water. Asuka stumped, however. Someone was already there and looked out at the sea as if spellbound. No, it wasn't just anyone, there was Ryou. And his hair was blowing slightly in the wind, his white uniform was also gripped by the little gust and fluttered without making a sound. Now she hurried to reach Ryou, who immediately looked around for her when he noticed her steps.
Asuka winced a little inwardly, because the older one gave her a radiant, warm smile. Her heart began to race wildly, she had never seen it before. She had never seen Ryou smile like that before. Or did it just seem like that to her at that moment?
"Have you been waiting for me for a long time?", She finally asked and noticed that she could not take her eyes off the person opposite, here in the dim light his eyes looked even more fascinating."No," he replied briefly, his voice sounding calm and gentle as always, but something about him was different today than usual. Asuka just couldn't explain exactly what it was.
Calmed, she took a few smaller steps towards him and then stopped right next to him. For a moment they were silent. There was total silence between the two, only the wind and the waves could be heard. Asuka sighed in relief. She must have only imagined Ryou's change. Momoe was probably right in her assumption that reading fairy tales was pointless, it just wasn't realistic and confused her unnecessarily. A tremor ran through her body. The wind had suddenly increased a bit and gave her a heavy shiver. Now she regretted not taking a jacket with her.
"Are you cold?" His voice asked juicy.
Asuka only felt how she was turned around. Ryou had gently put his arms around her Talie and forced her to look into his eyes.Asuka gasped in shock. She really hadn't expected something like that, she became clearly nervous in his arms and could hardly resist his deep gaze. Ryou's eyes shone intensely, but did they even reflect the light of the moon, which shone brightly in the sky?
Asuka wasn't so sure if that even played a role, because after a short time she found herself very close to his body. Her brother's best friend had unbuttoned his blazer and gently locked Asuka in it. The girl's tremor diminished significantly as the warmth flowed through her body. Ryou gave off such an incredibly pleasant warmth. She almost forgot herself, but noticed how close she huddled to feel his closeness. It just soothed her to be in his arms, she felt safe here. She wouldn't be sorry if Ryou was with her, she sighed softly as she realized what she was feeling.Could it be that she fell in love with Marufuji Ryou without even realizing it?
She couldn't think about it much longer. Actually, she wanted to ask him directly about it, what would happen to you when she really fell in love with him? Would he turn her away? Either way, she couldn't raise her voice because he lifted her chin a little with gentle force and looked deep into her eyes. Asuka winced again a little. These intense turquoise eyes made her incredibly calm. She felt like she was sinking into them, drowning. She felt as if she could suddenly no longer decide about her body, the images in front of her eyes grew cloudy, but she still recognized who was standing in front of her and what was going on. Asuka couldn't quite explain it, but it felt like some kind of hypnosis or spell.
Slowly Ryou's face approached hers and he gently laid his soft lips on hers."A kiss !?" Asuka shot through her head.
She couldn't really concentrate on it, let alone really realize it. Nor did she know how to classify this feeling that was spreading inside her. All she could think about was Ryou kissing her before she lost all sense of feeling or reality.

So what should I say about the first chapter ...
I hope I haven't bored you too much. It's always so hard for me to get started and I'm afraid it won't be that good. Well, who's going to give up so easily?
First and foremost, I wanted to let the flowers do the talking a bit. Since this story was inspired by nature outside my door - that is, in the forest around the corner there are as many wood anemones as a white carpet ^^ - I decided to learn a little about the language of flowers. Ryou gives Asuka a geranium to tell her "we'll meet at the known place". I wanted to make the relationship between the two clear right from the start - they like each other a lot and Asuka likes her ryou. Well ... I hope I didn't take you by surprise with the kissing scene ^ - ^ It just had to be!It shouldn't be a pure Asuka and Ryou chapter, from the beginning I also included Fubuki, Momoe, Junko and Manjoume, because they will play an even bigger role ^ .-
