Fanfic: The Reason

Subtitle: Eine Liebesgeschichte zwischen Matt und Sora

Chapter: Finally vacation!

So, I'll upload my first fanfic here. I've already written a few, but this is the first. Well, as you may have already read, this is about Matt and Sora. It's a love story that also has some takari in it towards the middle of the story. If you don't like that, you'd better go "back" right away. I wish everyone else a lot of fun reading and look forward to your comments. Otherwise the characters don't belong to me, except for a few I invented, but unfortunately the Digiritter doesn't belong to me. I want to have such a mate too ^^ ''

The Reason

FIRST CHAPTER

Finally vacation!

"Finally vacation!", Tai cheered and stretched himself out after what seemed like an eternal last day of school. Matt, his best friend, who was walking next to him to the parking lot, only smiled at his 'school-despising' buddy, but was no less happy about the long-awaited summer vacation.
"You can say that out loud. Almost two months break from school.", the blond boy agreed, crossed his arms behind his head and breathed in the fresh air.
"I really need them too.", Tai said again, "School is not only boring, but also damn exhausting. So the summer holidays are just right."
"Why exhausting? You haven't learned anything for most of the year anyway and you have been lazy." Suddenly a voice came from behind the two of them, who interfered in the conversation. It was Sora, Matt's best friend, and Tai's ex-girlfriend for a few weeks. The two had only been together for about a month and since Sora broke up about two weeks ago, Tai was behaving a bit strangely towards her, as the separation, unlike Sora, seemed to hurt him a lot. Nobody really knew exactly why the short relationship between the two of them diverged and neither of the two wanted to talk about it. Everyone had given them their luck, and they were also a very lovely couple who seemed to go well together. But apparently they were too different for a long relationship after all.
Tai made no reply to this remark because he spoke very little to Sora. He really loved her very much and suffered greatly from the breakup. Well, they weren't together for long, but the brown-haired man had had very strong feelings for the girl for a long time.
Sora didn’t miss this, of course, and thought it best to leave Tai alone for now. Instead of talking to him, she turned to her best friend.
"Tell me, Matt. Can you maybe drive me home? I forgot tennis training and my sports gear at home right after school. Now I'm in a bit of a hurry.", The redhead asked with her charming smile that almost every guy has melted away. So did Matt, who of course couldn't refuse her request. Even though he knew that Tai would say no, he asked, to be polite, if he would not want to go with him as well.
"No, it's okay.I'm walking. Doesn't hurt me anyway. Until then ", Tai said goodbye to the two of them and strolled away with his school bag over his back. It was clear that he wouldn’t ride with Sora. The other two gave each other confused looks and finally went to the student parking lot where Matt's car was.
"Do you think he's still so depressed because of the breakup? He hardly talks to me and can't stand it in the same room with me.", Sora resumed the conversation with Matt while he unlocked his dark blue BMW 318is .
"I think so. He doesn't talk about it, but you know him. He always takes things like that to heart. Especially because he has loved you for a long time." The 17-year-old didn't like Matt's answer, but she did knew he was right. Tai was very brave and strong, but inside he was very sensitive and it hurt him to be hurt by the people he loved.Sora sat down in the passenger seat and put her school bag on the back seat while Matt started the engine. The 140 hp engine rumbled under the hood and they drove off. Ever since the redhead was in driving school to get her driver's license, she's been watching other people's driving style very closely, but refrained from annoying comments like "You're driving too fast." or "The traffic light was already dark orange, if not red.". At first, like almost every learner driver, she couldn't help it, but after her parents and Matt had told her that she should pass the test first, she decided to let it go.
Sora was about to take her theory test and was very nervous about it, while Matt and Joe had long since passed the tests. Tai had fallen from the practical to his disappointment. His excuse for this was the separation from Sora, but somehow nobody really believed him."Do you have plans for tonight? Then we could meet up and do something.", The 17-year-old asked after Matt had driven off for a while and waited for an answer.
"It's fine tonight, but I don't have time earlier. Have a band rehearsal, after that I have to go shopping and cook food." Sora didn't have time until later, too, because she had tennis training, which she definitely couldn't miss because an important match was coming up soon, and after that she wanted to go inline skates.
"Well, we'll do something tonight then. We'll talk on the phone then, won't we?"
"Sure! Well, see you later.", Matt said goodbye to Sora, as they had just arrived at her home and she had to get out. She did the same to Matt, got out of the car and waved goodbye to her friend.
It only took a few minutes and he was home too. He parked his car in one of the parking spaces behind the large apartment building, opened the large, glass front door that led into the new apartment block and climbed the nine flights of stairs until he finally stood in front of his front door and opened it with the key .Sighing, Matt walked into the apartment, took off his shoes and carelessly tossed his school bag in the corner. Then the blonde strolled into the kitchen and cooked spaghetti with delicious tomato sauce. Plate in hand, Matt sat down on the sofa in the living room and turned on the television. He followed the course of a talk show with interest, which had the topic of 'parasites - finally earn your own money', while he ate his pasta. Actually, all the talk shows got on his nerves, but topics like this were always quite amusing, especially when guests argued again and were thrown out by the moderator. However, despite his expectations, it was pretty quiet, which ultimately led him to turn off the television and turn on his stereo.
After Matt finished eating, he put his plate in the kitchen and listened to a good hour of music. Then the blonde crawled into his room to get rid of the annoying green school uniform. He slipped into a gray T-shirt, normal blue jeans and black and white sneakers. Then he grabbed his electric guitar and looked for his car key, but after a good five minutes of searching he finally gave up, grabbed the front door key and sullenly set off on foot to the band rehearsal, which he would much rather skip today .
Arriving there completely out of breath - he had run because he was already quite late - Matt greeted the rest of the band: Kenji Makino, the bass guitarist and Kai Shinji, the drummer. Miro Takahara, the keyboard player, wasn't there yet.
"Hey Matt! And how was the last day of school?", Kenji asked in a good mood and gave Matt a friendly slap on the back. He shrugged his shoulders and replied:
"Well, boring! As always. It's like school. Let's start. Unfortunately, I don't have that much time today." That was the end of the subject of school for him."Oh yes, I almost forgot.", Kai came suddenly, who stood in front of Matt, "I met our manager today. He had good news for us. You should be interested in that, Matt."
"Then go ahead and don't pester us any further, Kai.", Said the lead singer of the group curiously as he packed his guitar out of the case.
"He said that your wish was okay." Now Matt let go of his guitar and turned to Kai with a questioning expression on his face, "We're playing at the school's summer ball on August 1st." Matt looked a little surprised the black-haired Kai in the eyes, who just grinned happily.
"Well, that's great that he managed to do it at such short notice," said the happy boy and picked up his electric guitar, ready to start.
"However, we should also help with the construction. All the bands that play at the ball help with the preparation. In the next few days we will get the key to the town hall so that we can enter."Matt nodded.
"That's no problem. Well, I know now. Let's get started!" Said Matt and turned his back on his colleagues to go to their rehearsal stage, but at that moment his cell phone rang. He dug the part out of his pocket and answered it. Kenji and Kai could only understand what Matt was saying, but knew pretty much who had called for what reason.
Matt had just hung up and wanted to explain what was going on when Kenji interrupted him.
"Let me guess! Miro has no time because he has another date or something.", The brown-haired guessed and grinned.
"Wow! How do you know that?", Matt said ironically, since Miro's rejections because of dates were really not uncommon, "Well, what the heck. Let's postpone it. We'll still be on the phone about an exact time, okay?"
"Agreed.", Kai agreed, who packed up his things. Matt also stowed his electric guitar back in the suitcase, said goodbye to the boys and went into town to go shopping. He went to a grocery store and got a shopping list from his father's pocket. Bored, the 18-year-old drove the shopping cart between the shelves and threw the groceries off the list. Every now and then, things like sweets or ice cream that weren't actually on the list wandered around in the car. His father would pay for it. When Matt got it all, he went to the checkout, paid, and put his purchases in a plastic bag. He politely wished the cashier a nice day, left the shop and headed for the city park, which was a good shortcut to get home.
Immediately a pleasant wind blew into Matt's face, which carried the scent of flowers with it. A welcome cooling off on such a
