head on Michael's chest, his arms around me to keep me warm.
“Good morning.” The vampire greeted me gently and let go of me. I yawned softly.
Actually, I would much rather have stayed with him like that. "Good morning ..." I replied sleepily, then slid a little bit away from him and now leaned against the wall of the cave instead of him.
We sat in silence for a while, and while I was having breakfast Michael finally got up, went to the window and looked outside.
The sunlight reflected off the snow, making it sparkle like a thousand diamonds.
I blinked.
Wait a minute ... sunlight ?! "... um ... Michael?Out there ... the sun is shining. You stand right in the light. "I realized, visibly confused. Had I only been dreaming for the last few days? No, impossible.
After all, here we were in this cave ... and that was definitely not my imagination.
Michael turned to me. "
Even we vampires can handle a little sunlight. "He explained, then looked at me for a moment in silence.
"How are you? Can we go on?" he asked me. I nodded and got up.
"Yes, we can go." I said and took Michael's cloak from my shoulders. I gave it back to him and stuffed the blankets and the food back into my backpack while Michael, after putting his cloak around his shoulders again, saddled Nox.
The fire was already out and the ashes were already cold when we left the cell in silence and headed for the exit.
A huge snowy landscape spread out before our eyes. The individual rocks that had protruded from the snow before had now completely disappeared.
The horizon was already turning purple, but Michael, who was standing next to me and holding Nox by the reins, had pulled the hood down over his face to protect himself from the rest of the sun's rays.
We just stood there in silence for a moment and watched the landscape as it grew darker, but in the end it was Michael who broke the silence.
"Come on, we should go slowly." He said, tugging on Nox's reins, then he started walking. I followed him.
While I was sunk in the snow up to my ankles in the cave, because something had snowed into it, I sank into the cave as soon as I left the cave up to my waist.
Michael felt no different, as I noticed with a quick glance at him. He was waiting for me and when I had fought my way to him we trudged through the meter-high snow together.
All three of us had to struggle with the snow masses, so we made quite slow progress. Finally, to make matters worse, it started snowing and the wind lashed our faces.
After a short time I was completely exhausted and soaked, my clothes were sticking to my skin and I had the feeling that my lungs were about to burst.
Eventually, however, Michael finally stopped.
Completely exhausted, I sat down on the floor and rubbed my hands together, which were freezing cold despite the exertion that had made me somewhat warm again.
Michael put his cloak over my shoulders, but it hardly helped to protect me from the freezing cold. With clammy fingers I pulled the blankets out of the backpack Michael had placed next to me.
I wrapped myself in the blankets as tightly as I could, still cold, but gradually getting a little warmer.
Michael sat across from me in silence, the cold didn't seem to really bother him.
His hair was stuck flat on his head from the melted snow, I watched the drops of water for a moment as they made their way from his forehead over his nose down to his chin, where they finally dripped down.
I looked pretty much the same, even though I felt so cold that the snow formed ice crystals in my hair instead of melting.
The thick drops that ran down my cheeks like tears proved otherwise, but I hardly felt them.
I felt very little at all. I.
I didn't know what it felt like to freeze to death, but I was pretty sure it had to feel like this.
I didn't have to think about it for a long time, because gradually it dawned on me.

(and from here on he put everything back in again Oo but I completely forgot how I started and how I got upset in the first place ... so I'll put a sentence or so ahead so you know what is going on and then I leave the rest like this * grml *)Well, I was just upset that I am totally unmotivated to continue writing at the moment, because I have quite a lot of calls, but only so damn few clerks. And slowly I start to wonder if my FF is so bad that you are all too good for bombarding me with criticism ... (and now the transition to what is coming now is missing, but well ... it doesn't matter)
But if that's the case, I can't improve without criticism, so dear comic writers (and those who want to become this xD), scribble until you drop ^^ ... but that doesn't mean positive comments too seen are xD
So now I really stop annoying!
As always: if you are so nice and leave me a picking point, I will let you know when it goes on!
