The leader of the clan of the red mountains is called Lord Yutaka, he has ruled the west mountains for over four centuries. His clan came out of the great war with few losses. He showed himself to be a capable and responsible leader. But his comrades-in-arms gradually got nervous, because since the great war a larger group of people has settled in the forest in front of the West Mountains, luck and bad luck at the same time. Yutaka was aware that they need human blood to survive on their own and the village of these beings ultimately offers an extremely good source of food that can exist for decades with good organization and perfect planning.
On the other hand, there are concerns that these people might find the small road up to their mountain at times and the vampires will be surprised during the day. The clan is uncertain whether scouts have already found the secret path, but they don't necessarily want to take a risk. The lord of the west Moutanis had to think carefully about his clan's next steps. If he destroys the village and kills all the people, they only have an abundance of food for a short time, but what then? The next village is two days' walk from her castle. It would be a risky undertaking, because the vampires cannot travel further during the day and would have to look for contactor in a cave or something similar. You would be attackable and very vulnerable during this time and all just to bring a handful of people into your castle. Yutaka had an uneasy feeling at this thought, is this how you should survive the next few years? Regular raids on a village two days away from your home with the greatest enemy behind, the rising sun? He didn't like this idea at all! For one thing, the village in front of their mountains was not even half a night's march away.
It was night when Yutaka stood on the castle walls and gazed at the starry sky.He was very thoughtful, he literally felt that sooner or later this pack of people would attack his clan and if the attack took place during the day, none of them would have a chance. About three dozen vampires currently live in the castle, each of them had their own room, but there was still plenty of space. "Plenty of space ...?", Yutaka thought to himself. Suddenly an idea occurred to him that it would not be easy and one would have to plan it well, but once it worked there would never be food problems again and no village in front of theirs Mountains more. He grinned, knowing that the vampires won't be averse at all.
At that moment, another vampire approached Yutaka, Akiyama only two hundred and fifty years young. He was tall, well built, and had short brown hair. If he were a person he would be estimated at 24 years, only his pale skin and his pointed canine teeth, which one could not see with closed mouth, betrayed which race he belonged to.He stood next to the Lord and then noticed the grin on his face. "What are you thinking of Yutaka?" He asked him. "I have a solution to our Akiyama problem, I call a meeting in the fireplace room, I will describe everything else there," he explained to him and turned his gaze back into the distance. The young vampire nodded and went back into the castle and did as he was told.
A few minutes later, Yutaka also started walking. When he entered the fireplace room, all the vampires were already gathered. They looked curiously at their leader, who stood with his back to the fireplace and looked at his entourage. He explained both options that were left to them, to exterminate the people's village and get their food sources from the far more distant villages or to spare the village, to have the food source on site and to live with the risk of an attack. He noticed his vampires' displeasure and how opinions diverged over the two proposals.Yutaka grinned "or ...", he broke through the mumbling, "... we take this suggestion ..."
Three days after this meeting there was great excitement in the castle, today would be the day, or rather the night, when she wanted to implement the plan that Yutaka had explained to them. All vampires left shortly after sunset for the village, which was in front of the mountains of West Mountain. They crept through the forest like dark shadows cast by the moon and shortly before ten o'clock in the night they reached the village. They approached barely audibly, a light mist ran through the forest. Yutaka had planned everything well, the vampires positioned themselves around the whole village as ordered. The lord wanted to avoid anyone escaping and possibly seeking help from another village. Akiyama, too, had positioned himself and was now waiting for the signal to attack. He held his sword ready to fight, leaned his back against a tree and watched the last of his race prepare. The village itself was quiet, many of the residents were already asleep, because there were no lights on in some of the houses. Akiyma, on the other hand, was on the outskirts of the village, with a rather shabby house behind him. He literally smelled the people who lived in there, he glanced over his shoulder and carefully peered out from behind the tree. In the house there was probably a fire in the fireplace or something similar, he could even guess the shadow of a person.
Then there was a low and very high-pitched whistle, the signal to attack. None of the people heard this sound, their instincts were far too weak for that. All the vampires sprinted out of their hiding spots behind trees and bushes at the same time. It almost seemed as if they would emerge from nowhere, as if the fog had brought them with it. They crept quickly and quietly to the houses of the people with their weapons drawn. Noiselessly opened doors and windows to slit the throats of the sleeping with their blades. The silence of the night broke the sound of the blade cutting through flesh.
One of the residents who happened to be looking out of her window noticed these quiet shadows creeping around and carrying something long and silver with them. Fear and excitement mixed in her and when she carefully opened the door and peered outside, she saw dozens of vampires sneaking through the village and already carrying bloody blades with them. She froze for a moment, but then a terrifying scream escaped her, which echoed through the whole village. She quickly covered her mouth to herself, but it was already too late, several vampires had noticed her and were running to her with their swords. The woman scurried reflexively back into her house, locked the door. Her husband and the children who were awakened by this scream just looked at her questioningly. The woman frantically indicated that they should close all windows as quickly as possible, but they were too slow. Two vampires had already entered through the windows on the upper floor, and they were already standing on the ground floor with one leap. The one vampire's sword pierced the heart of the man, who fell dead on the spot. The children, pale as death, stared fearfully at their father's murderers. But they had no time to run away or to even think about it, because no sooner had the vampire killed the man than his blood-soaked sword cut off the head of one of the two children. The other vampire pounced on the still living one and bit his neck deeply, drank his delicious blood and feasted on it until he slipped into unconsciousness and finally into death. Meanwhile the vampire who had already killed two family members went to the human woman. She sat shocked in a corner, did not move and hardly dared to breathe. She could no longer grasp a clear thought, much more was an empty one in her head and heart. She didn't notice anything around her either, not even that the other vampire had feasted on her son enough or let alone that the other one roughly grabbed her arm, forcing her to get up and run. This pushed her in front of him and then pushed her to a smaller group of people who were surrounded by several vampires. This group included men and women alike, not yet children and not elderly either. The vampires guarded them, with drawn swords they watched their prisoners closely, but none of them resisted any more, all were silent or were traumatized.
When the signal for the attack sounded, Akiyama also set out to kill, drink and take prisoners. He sneaked up to the run-down house, since the light was on, it was assumed that the residents weren't asleep yet. The vampires were stronger and faster than the weak people, but there were always losses among them due to careless clan members. After all, he didn't want to take this risk and was therefore very careful. His back was already leaning against the wall and slowly moving towards the door. But the calm silence was broken by a scream, it came from the woman who noticed the vampires creeping through the village. Akiyama heard the house suddenly becoming restless, the people there must have heard the scream too. He had no more time to lose, he had to strike now before they had time to defend themselves seriously. So he yanked the door open, stormed in, and looked at the room in the glow of the flames. A pretty young woman was standing in front of the fireplace with an iron rod in her hand that she held up in front of her. He grinned when he realized that she was the only possible danger that emanated from here. Finally he walked slowly towards her, putting his sword back into its sheath. She pounded the bar around wildly in the air, although her opponent was still a long way off.Panic rose in her, fear spread. From one second to the next the vampire stood in front of here, held the iron days tight in his grip and jerked them out of the woman's hand. The young woman looked frantically across the room, she was looking for something with which to defend herself, but quickly discovered nothing. Akiyama grabbed her shoulders and pressed her with tremendous force against the nearby wall. The woman tried to defend her, she tried to hit and kick him,
