Chapter 6 - The new one
She looked amazing. Breathtaking, seductive, just plain hot, that's what men would say. Or rather they said it. But she didn't mind. She was the reason they passed the doorman. He looked at the girls and said: "Sorry, entry only from 18." Damn, thought Akiko, Minako and Sonoko at the same time. However, Ran showed her ID. “We're all in the same year,” she said. “Unfortunately they forgot their ID.” Ran gave the doorman the most innocent look she knew. At least it had always worked for him. She was the oldest, just turned 18. "It's all their birthday before me," she said. It wasn't unusual for her to be the youngest. Everyone in her class was older. Except for the three girls.
“We're in the 3rd grade of high school.” “OK. Come in then.” The doorman let them pass. 'Maybe they just want to celebrate a bachelorette party' he thought to himself. 'I can't spoil that for you. ´ "Thank you," said Ran and the four young women went to the club.
First they looked for a seat, which was almost impossible in P3. But they found a cozy sitting area, far away from the stage. Where a live band was playing. This would soon be playing her last song. The bands only played until midnight sharp. Until then it was just 6 minutes. "You look really good, Ran," Akiko remarked casually. Ran wore a short black mini, a white blouse and a silver vest over it. Then there are high heels, which some women would not even have dared to buy. Her hair was curly. But she had first persuaded Akiko to do so. And to top it all off, Minako had lent her a necklace. A small silver chain with a cross pendant. In itself, everything was kept very discreet, but unfortunately this only applied to the eyes of a woman.Every man, regardless of age, stared at the troop as they passed them. Everyone, really everyone, man was taken with the young girls. No one could decide which to stare at first.
One, really only one, knew where to look. She hadn't even gone down the first step before he'd spotted her.
You have to imagine it that way, before you could even immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the P3, you first had to go down a small staircase. This is how you got to the actual floor.
They sit down, and after a short time Sonoko asked: "What do you want to drink. The first round is on me." The girls ordered unusual drinks one after the other. Ran just wanted a simple pure cola. But Minako contradicted her: "Come on, Ran. Just a drink. Just a toast. To our evening." Ran agreed and ordered a gin martini. A chill ran down her spine when she said gin.
"All right. I'll be right back." Sonoko made her way to the bar. Soon she was back and gave them the drinks. "Well, let's drink to the fact that we're all towing a guy today." Sonoko toasted. Akiko and Minako wholeheartedly agreed. But Ran just stared spellbound at the glasses so that they finally touched and they could drink. She wanted to get away from alcohol as soon as possible. "Prost" said the women and drank. "Cheers" said Ran and drank from her cocktail.
"OH MY GOD. This is an amazing song." Sonoko literally shouted. "Come on, let's go dancing." "All right." "Let's go." said Minako and Akiko. “Come on, you're coming too.” Sonoko held out her hand to Ran. "No, Sonoko, I'm not in the mood ..." "Oh nonsense, come on now." Sonoko took Ran's hand and pulled her onto the dance floor. After endless minutes, Ran was able to steal from the dance floor unnoticed. She went to the bar to get the Coke that she had wanted since she got here. She sat down on a bar stool.
“Hi, how are you?” She asked the person sitting next to her. “Well, why do you ask?” Despite the fact that she actually wanted to be left alone, she accepted the conversation. “Well, I noticed you.” “Hahaha. How many women have you wrapped around your finger with that saying?” He also started to laugh. "Not yet ... Because I've never said it to anyone." "And should I believe you now?" "You can believe in whatever you want. My name is Shinichi, by the way." Ran froze. Could it really be true? "Your name is Shinichi?" she asked skeptically. "Yes, well actually my name is Akio Shinichi Takashi. But everyone just calls me Shinichi. You already know about the detective." "Y ... Yes, I've heard of him too." "If you could tell me your name now … "" Ran. My name is Ran. "" Nice to meet you. "She looked around for her friends and recognized them in her sitting area. "I'll go then ... I was happy."
"Hey, Ran. Who was the guy you were talking to?" Akiko asked. Minako and Sonoko looked at Ran expectantly. “I don't know.” Ran turned to him. “Just some guy.” She said and sat down. Ran sipped her Coke and saw that this Shinichi was watching her. She quickly turned away and talked to the girls.
"He's watching you," Sonoko stated after a while. "He should. I don't care. And he certainly doesn't." "Yes, but Ran. Nobody has any objection to a little fun, right?" This time Minako speaks up. "HE DOES NOT INTEREST ME!" Ran said more firmly and put her empty glass on the table. "All right, all right. I'll go dancing then. Who's coming?" Akiko looked at Minako and Sonoko, who just got up with an "I". However, Ran remained seated. She searched desperately for the reason why she had come with us, but couldn't find any.Sonoko said she should enjoy herself. Maybe ... "Why are you sitting around here alone?" Ran was torn from her thoughts. "Here please." Akio, or better Shinichi as he was called, put a glass in front of her nose. "What's this?" asked Ran. "A gin martini. I saw that you had had one and I figured that because your friends left you alone, I'll buy you one." He grinned when he asked if he could sit down. 'What's the matter with it?' Thought Ran. "Sure, why not. And thank you." Ran sipped her drink.
From the dance floor, Sonoko noticed that this guy from earlier was sitting with Ran and that the two were talking. Sonoko smiled. It had been a good idea to persuade Ran to come along. After all, Ran laughed again, which had become really rare lately. She seemed to get along pretty well with the man.
