Naruto one-shots
- A job without a teacher ... -
Kakashi and Gai had sent their students on their first mission together without the two teachers being present. - Actually, the job was very simple: Both teams each had a scroll that they should hand in together. - The leaders were respectively Neji and Naruto.
But shortly after they started running, they were being chased by hostile ninjas. - On the evening of the first day, the young teams were attacked:
Sakura and Tenten were fetching some water from a nearby stream and bringing it to the campsite in the forest.
"We are being watched" came softly from Tenten.
"I know," Sakura whispered back, just as softly.
Unobtrusively, as if they weren't aware of anything, they put the water buckets next to the fire.
"Sasuke" hissed Tenten quietly, who was standing next to him.
"I know" came back cold.
"Lee" whispered the pink-haired woman.
"I already noticed it" replied the person addressed.
Even Naruto noticed a rustle that was a few feet away. "Are we circled?" he asked Neji, who was standing next to him.
"Yes," came the short of this one using his Byakugan eyes.
"And now?"
"Frontal attack."
The blonde grinned. * Finally action! *
Neji looked sharply at Sasuke, who immediately understood what the black-haired wanted from him. A quick glance at the others was enough to warn them. Immediately Sasuke grabbed one of the water buckets and poured everything over the fire, whereupon all team members ran in groups of two in a different direction.Neji and Naruto pounced on the enemy ninjas closest to them. - Lee and Sakura fought their way through on their side, while Sasuke and Tenten scurried unseen through the ranks of the enemy.
A few minutes later - with the fire now extinguished - nothing of the enemy ninjas was to be seen, but nothing of the Konoha ninjas either ...
Still a little dazed, Naruto slowly came to. * Where the hell did I end up HERE? * he asked himself mentally, rubbing his aching head. - Everything around him was dark and rocky. - Suddenly he heard a groan next to him. Immediately he looked where the sound was apparently coming from. "Neji ...?" he asked softly into the darkness.
A low moan came in response. - But finally the figure next to him slowly got up: "N-Naruto?"
"Neji! - Thank God!" The blonde breathed a sigh of relief when he heard the familiar voice of his comrade.
"What's going on? Why don't I see anything?"
"It's pretty dark here ..." The blue-eyed man looked up until he saw a tiny point of light. "Oi!"
"What is it? Where are we?"
"Apparently fallen deep ... - but I can't see anything above ..."
Neji looked up but saw nothing. So he tries to use his Byakugan eyes to see if anyone was there besides himself and Naruto. "Damn it!" he hissed.
"What is it? What do you have?" Naruto asked worried.
"I can not see anything…"
"Yes, I hardly see anything either-" "I don't mean THAT!" interrupted the black-haired man brusquely. The blonde looked irritated at his companion. Naruto could see a few contours in the darkness.
"I ..." Neji paused briefly before continuing: "I can't use my eyes. I can neither see normally nor activate my Byakugan."
An astonished "WHAT?!?" left the blue-eyed man's lips. - He thought for a moment, until he finally decided: "Well then I'll take you until your eyes are okay again!"Now it was the black-haired man who was visibly shocked: "WHAT?!?"
"What about you?" Sasuke wanted to know when Tenten fell and couldn't get to his feet.
She held her right ankle, her face contorted with pain: "Don't know. Must have acted stupidly somehow."
With a "show me" he took her hand from her foot and took off her shoe. - Somewhat surprised that Sasuke was so close to her, the black-haired woman blushed slightly. - "How did that happen?" the crouching in front of her got her out of her thoughts.
"What?"
He glared at her: "HOW did THIS happen?"
She looked at her ankle, which had apparently been bleeding for a long time, and stuttered in disbelief: "W-w-don't know ..."
"That must hurt you! Since when have you been walking around THAT?"
Irritated, Tenten said: "I ... really don't know. - I didn't see how that happened ..."
Sasuke took a closer look at her shoe and finally said: "Looks like something touched you ... A kunai maybe ..."
She wasn't capable of more than an intimidated "Aha ...".
In the meantime, Sasuke unwrapped the bandages on his legs and attached an improvised bandage to Tenten's foot: "But you can no longer walk with it. - Otherwise it will only get worse."
She looked at him in shock: "Do you want to leave me HERE?"
Except for an irritated "Huh?" nothing came from the Uchiha at first. Then he had to giggle slightly, which brought a slight blush to Tenten's cheeks. "Nonsense," he began. "How did you come up with something like that?" - Tenten looked at him perplexed. - "I'll carry you piggyback." - Even more astonished than before, she still couldn't utter a sound. - "If I support you, we will not make any progress. - Carrying you is simply faster," Sasuke explained while he crouched down in front of her and thus instructed her to move on his back, which she did after a short hesitation.
"Do not lie to me!" hissed Sakura."I can see that you are hurt everywhere!"
"But ... these are really just a few scratches ..." Lee tried to calm the pink-haired girl.
"Liar!" she half screamed. "You sit down on the spot and let me treat you!"
"But…"
"No> but
The black-haired sighed, but then bowed to Sakura's will and sat down at the edge of the stream. - She was right, but he didn't want to show any weakness in front of her. After all, he had promised her that he would always protect her. And how should that work when he was hurt himself and was looked after by her? - But for her sake he would take on any enemy. So wanted - or had to? - he now complies with your wishes.
Meanwhile, Naruto tried to climb up the wall, carrying Neji on his back. "You have to hold on tight, do you hear? I can't hold you well," he said to the black-haired man, who then pressed his legs even tighter around Naruto's hips and also wrapped his arms around the upper body of the blue-eyed man. * Not that tight either! - shit! I get warm and it tingles everywhere! *
But Neji had his problems too, because he suddenly noticed that Naruto smelled good ... * Strange ... I heard that when the eyes get worse, the other senses sharpen ... But that it should go SO fast ... * Unconsciously he put his head on Naruto's shoulder and inhaled his smell even more.
The blonde felt how the Hyuga's breath suddenly brushed his collarbone, whereupon he got goose bumps and suddenly trembled slightly. "Wh-wa-what ma-ma-are you d-d-you d-d-da?" he stuttered as he slowly slipped down the wall, unable to find a hold.
A little dazed, Neji only said: "Hm?"
Back on the ground, however, Naruto only stood motionless. "W-w-what ... should that be?" it came softly from the Uzumaki."What?"
"Why ... did you ... breath on me?"
"Do I have that?"
With reddened cheeks (which you couldn't see in the dark anyway) the blond boy turned his head to Hyuga, who had meanwhile released his legs from Naruto's pelvis but was still standing close behind him. His arms too now detached themselves from the blue-eyed man, but turned him around with his shoulders so that the two could now have looked into each other's eyes (if it hadn't been pitch black and Neji hadn't been blind).
The blind man ran his hands from Naruto's shoulders, over his neck, until he stopped at his cheeks.
"Tell me ... why do you actually hate us girls?" Tenten began hesitantly, because she just couldn't stand the silence.
Sasuke sighed deeply and finally said: "There's no question of hating ... There are only certain girls who are pushy and totally annoying because they keep making me pretty eyes, chatting me with nonsense that doesn't interest me anyway, me giving some nonsensical gifts and trying to persuade me to go on dates all the time. "
A little embarrassed came only a meek "Oh so" from the black haired.
"The only exceptions are Hinata and ..." He broke off in mid-sentence.
"> And " repeated Tenten, who was interested in who, besides Hinata, was NOT into Sasuke.
He stopped, put the black-eyed girl down, turned to her, lifted her chin a little, breathed "... and YOU" and kissed the perplexed.
It was true that she never spoke to him to tell him how great he was, that he should meet her, etc., but she had never shown disinterest, which is why the Uchiha probably assumed that she would open up it stood, but it just didn't show. - And he was right about that, which was quickly proven, since Tenten now accepted the kiss and grabbed his hair while he pressed her closer to her hip.
"You don't always have to want to protect me, do you hear?" Sakura said sadly as she put some bandages on Lee."But I ... I love you ... and of course I want to protect you too ..." the black-haired man said, getting quieter and quieter.
"Oh Lee ..." sighed the pink-haired woman.
With glowing cheeks but sad eyes, Rock said: "I know that you like Sasuke ... But I still can't change my feelings for you ..."
The green-eyed woman already had the first tears in her eyes: "I know it ... I also know that Sasuke would never protect me like you ... but ..."
"E-e-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you cry!" it came slightly desperate from the black-eyed.
Sakura was still sniffing as she wiped the tears from her eyes with her hands like a small child: "II-I ... know ... but ..."
