"Naruto ..." Neji breathed while his face was so close to the Uzumaki's that the tips of her nose were only a few millimeters apart and the blonde felt the Hyuga's breath on his lips as he spoke.
"Y-y-yes?" it came from the blonde, visibly nervous.
"It's still pretty dark outside ..."
"Y-y-yes."
"So it's the middle of the night ...""Y-y-yes ..."
"Don't you think we might as well stay HERE then?"
"Huh?"
"Who knows who or what is waiting for us up there. - In THE dark we can only move slowly anyway. - It would be best if we would stay here overnight and climb out in the morning. - You would then see more." and maybe it will have normalized with my eyes by then. - Maybe it's just a kind of shock that will subside over time ... "

Neji ran the fingers of his right hand up to the blond's chin: "Naruto ..."

He shook his head slightly: "I-i-I don't ..."
"Naruto ..." Neji breathed again.
"What?" it came slightly desperate from this one.
But when he felt the black-haired man's lips on his, his eyes widened and he stopped, as if frozen. - He even forgot to close his mouth in fright, which the Hyuga took advantage of immediately to explore the blue-eyed man's oral cavity with his tongue.

Completely out of breath, Sasuke and Tenten parted from each other.
"W-w-we should go on slowly ..." came panting from the black-haired woman.
The Uchiha raised an eyebrow and grinned slightly: "So? Should we?"
"Y-d-the others ..."
"... will certainly be fine on their own," added Sasuke, still grinning, the sentence.
Tenten saw a kind of desire in his eyes, which is why she uttered "Also true again", which Uchiha grabbed by the back of the head, pulled him to her and kissed again.

Sakura broke away from Lee again. Totally intimidated, but with glowing cheeks, she looked at the ground and stuttered: "T-t-I'm sorry ... I ... also don't know what got into me ..."
Lee stroked her cheek and said with a small smile: "It's okay ..."
She looked at him with wide eyes. Then she lowered her gaze again and smiled a little desperately. * I'm so stupid ... I hurt him and he also makes a good face to the bad game so I don't feel too guilty ... * She looked up at him again and her face reflected seriousness when she said to him : "I'm not sorry!"- Confused, he looked at her, while she suddenly grabbed his neck, pulling his head down and kissing him again. - But this was more demanding than the first.

When the two boys finally couldn't breathe, they separated. - Still perplexed, Naruto looked at the Hyuga. - He couldn't see it, but he felt the confusion of his counterpart: "Naruto ..." - No answer. - "Now please be honest and think about it well: Did you like it or not?"
"I ... uh ... uh ... uh ..."
"Take your time, think about it as long as you want, but give me an answer, will you?" With these words the black-haired sat down on the floor and leaned against one of the walls.
Lost in thought, the blonde ran his middle finger over his lips. *Like? - Somehow ... already ... right? * He crouched in front of Neji, who could not see it, but still felt the movement of the blue-eyed man. "Neji ...?" began the Uzumaki.
"Hm?"
A small grin flitted across Naruto's lips as he cupped the black-haired man on the chin, whispered softly "Let's try it again" and then kissed the Hyuga.

When morning came, Naruto and Neji were snuggled together and slept. - Sasuke held Tenten protectively in her arms, who had snuggled up against the seated Uchiha. - Sakura was lying on Lee, who also clasped her in his arms. - So everyone lay close to each other with their respective partners and dreamed ...

The first ray of sun tickled the blond boy on the nose, who had to sneeze and woke up. - Naruto's sneeze also woke Neji.
The Hyuga rubbed his eyes sleepily: "Tomorrow already?"
"Seems so ..." came the Uzumaki looking up. "We didn't fall as deep as I thought at first ..."
Neji also looked up: "It's really not high ..."
At first surprised, the blue-eyed man finally grinned: "So you can see again?"The black-haired grinned: "Yes. It was apparently only a temporary condition."
The Uzumaki's happy expression disappeared and he looked at Neji with a mixture of seriousness and sadness: "Was that the other yesterday ... just a 'temporary state' of yours?"
With a slightly amused expression on his face, the Hyuga looked closely at the blond head before he came very close to him and replied: "If so, he'll stop now ..." And with these words he kissed Naruto with a fiery French kiss.

"Hey, wake up" came from Sasuke, who ran his hand over Tenten's cheek.
A mumbled "Hm?" came in response, slowly lifting her eyelids.
At this sight the Uchiha just couldn't help but grin. But finally he said: “Come on now, we have to move on.” And then he was crouching in front of the injured woman again to carry her on on his back.

Lee on the other hand was woken up by Sakura with a kiss and a subsequent "morning".
He rubbed the last sleep out of his eyes and uttered a "morning" as well.
With a lovely smile, the pink-haired woman stood up and held out a hand to the black-eyed man, who accepted it with thanks and let himself be pulled up.

At the meeting point - which they had agreed beforehand in case something should go wrong - Naruto and Neji arrived first, because they had the shortest way to get there. - Shortly afterwards the next arrived: Sakura had to support Lee a bit (because of his injuries). - Ten minutes later, Sasuke came with Tenten on his back.
Now that they were all gathered together, they went together to finally finish their assignment.
They then went to Konoha as quickly as they could to treat the injured. - In the small village where they had to hand in the scrolls, Lee and Tenten could not get great treatment because the doctor there was in another village and was not due to come until late in the evening.- And the injuries of the two weren't THAT serious either, which is why the six young ninjas decided to head straight back to Konoha ...

"Except for the little incident, you did your job pretty well. - If you continue like this, we can soon send you on a joint mission again," said the Hokage.
The three couples looked each other briefly, grinned and finally looked at Tsunade, before they said in unison: "Oh yes!"
