1. Chapter: A little surprise

It was almost like usual at the Cross Academy. However, there has been a change. Yuuki helped everyone, but received no thanks. The only thing she got to hear was nagging about her work.

>> Then you should do better if you keep complaining. <<, thought little Yuuki. She was just in her room and was looking out the window. The girl wondered if she should buy anyone for Christmas at all. Then Kaname-senpai thought about it and smiled.

>> He was the only one who didn't nag. <<, she stated. Yuuki immediately got up and ran out, because she wanted to quickly buy a present for him in town.

"Christmas will be in a few days ... I hope I get something for him ...", she mumbled to herself. On the way she met Zero. He held the girl by the arm.

"Where are you going Yuuki-chan?" Asked the young man. She turned to him.

"I want to go back to town to get something," she replied and tried to pull away.

"Then I'll come with you. A young girl like you shouldn't go alone!", He said and walked towards the gate.

"I want to go alone! You'd only be nagging anyway!" She yelled and ran past him. Yuuki didn't stop running until she was sure he wasn't following her. The girl ran up to a jewelry store. The owner greeted them warmly.

"Could you make a necklace by December 23rd?" She asked hopefully.

"That'll be in a couple of days," replied the man. She nodded.

"I could try, but it would depend on what kind of necklace you want," the owner explained. Yuuki told him what kind of ideas she had. He nodded. (You will find out later what kind of chain it is = P) Then Yuuki went back to the academy. In that time it was getting dark.Everywhere it rustled or moved, she looked anxiously. The girl was scared.

"II think Zero was right ..." she mumbled softly. But she shook her head.

>> I'm not a weak girl! <<, she thought, and ran quickly into the academy grounds. She did not notice that someone was standing in her way. Yuuki ran into someone, but he immediately grabbed her hand to keep it from falling. She looked up and immediately recognized the face.

"Kaname-senpai ... I'm sorry. Gomennasai.", Immediately the girl straightened up and bowed briefly. Kaname smiled and stroked her hair.

"Don't be so shy about me," he said with a charming smile.

"B-but you saved my life, Kaname-Senpai.", The girl mumbled and added: "You have to go to class ..." He nodded and ran to the classroom. Yuuki started her tour. She had an important job at that school with her stepbrother Zero. They were the guardians of the school and therefore have a great responsibility. So the fourth Advent evening went by, as well as the next few days. On December 23, Yuuki ran to the store again. The chain has been completed.

"Thank you very much," she said happily and went back to the academy. The necklace looked just wonderful. On this chain was a heart that could be opened. It said, “I love you.” When she got to the premises, Yori walked up to her.

"What do you have there, Yuuki-chan?" She asked.

"Nothing," she replied tersely and went to the room. There she put the necklace in a small package and wrapped wrapping paper around it. In the end, a beautifully wrapped present came out. Yuuki hid it in her closet and locked it, because nobody should see it except Kaname. Suddenly there was a knock.

"Come in?" The girl called and looked at the door. It was her former friend Yori, who she had met earlier."What do you want?", Yuuki asked her, her voice sounding a bit cool.

"I want to apologize. I know I shouldn't have complained to you if something didn't work out for me. Please forgive me.", Mumbled the other person. Yuuki walked up to her and hugged her.

"I already forgave you.", The girl with the short hair answered and grinned. A stone fell from Yori's heart. Together with Yori, she wrapped Zero's present.

"Actually, he didn't deserve any!" Said Yuuki angrily.

"But maybe then he'll see his mistake, as well as I.", Yori said simply. The other girl just shrugged and helped her friend again. When the sun was slowly going down, they finished.

"Thank you Yori ...", Yuuki said murmuring. Her friend nodded and both lay down in the beds. They told each other some stories until midnight. Then they fell asleep one by one. The next morning, Yuuki woke up and took some fresh things out of the closet. She quickly went to the headmaster's bathroom and showered. Then she got dressed and ran back. Yuuki got the presents and with them she went to each person. First she was with Rector Kurosu, then with Zero and now she ran to the house moon. There she knocked and opened the door.

"Nanu. Yuuki-chan?", Aidou looked at the girl.

"Good morning Aidou-senpai. II am looking for Kaname-senpai.", The girl mumbled and bowed as usual. He nodded and took her to Kaname. There he knocked.

"Kaname-sama? Yuuki-chan is here.", He called and the door opened. Aidou left them alone.

"Good morning Kaname-Senpai.", She bowed and turned slightly red.

"Good morning Yuuki-chan. Come on in.", He said with a smile. The girl in front of him nodded and ran into his room. Kaname closes the door and turned to her.

"Is there a reason for your visit?", He looked into her eyes."Yes. I have a present for you.", She mumbled and Yuuki gave him the present. Kaname took it and immediately opened it. Then the little package with the chain inside.
