driving you here, Daisuke? You are connected, so what?" Calmly, Ritsu sat down at his desk, opened a drawer and began to fill out a form, apparently not interested.
Daisuke looked slightly confused at his headmaster. He politely began to answer, but looked briefly at his sacrifice, whose face you could read like in an openly flying diary. Daisuke himself knew a lot, but not one thing: How he and his apparently easy-to-be-frightened Sacrifice had come up with the name "Fearless" was sneaky to him. And also with his sacrifice he felt the slight uncertainty again, while Alex returned his gaze briefly, but then wandered back to her name.
After Ritsu got no answer, he looked up briefly, and took in the situation at a glance. He looked again at the form in which he had filled in the new data from Fearless, frowning slightly. He had seen so many newly married couples ... but even he didn't know what to do with this one. In this "Fearless" team, the classic roles seemed to have been swapped: the Sacrifice seemed inexperienced and had just completed basic training, Daisuke, on the other hand, was one of the best students he had, he knew him from childhood and had him partially himself trained. He looked at the paper again, shook his head again in disbelief, got up from his desk and went to a cupboard to his right, apparently to sort the form.
"Since you two have apparently not been able to talk and skipped the lesson with Nagisa - it will tear me apart again - I would at least ask you to send the other two, who are currently in the infirmary, to me, please , yes? ", Ritsu turned back to the two of them. He smiled slightly. Apparently he had intimidated this Alex Sanders, he was hiding imperceptibly behind Daisuke. The latter had got up, probably following his instinct, and had more or less demonstratively stood in front of the gray-haired man, who had not yet said a single note. Seemingly speechless, he sat there, out of sight of Ritsu.
"I'm already a little sorry for Daisuke ... hopefully the bonds between the new couples aren't so strong that they all overflow with protection.", The headmaster thought cynically. Only a loud "You can go, isn't that obvious?" Came from his lips. Ritsu turned his back on the two of them. As soon as the words left his lips, the next moment you could hear the door clacking and slamming. He could feel Daisuke's questioning look on his back for a moment, but then he set off too.Misaki had meanwhile joined Faithless and had not returned to her original place since the beginning of the class. Why? As rude and condescending as they were notorious, Faithless didn't seem to be at all. Misaki sat next to Hana, looked slightly dreamily out of the window and only half-listened to Nagisa-sensei's continuing screaming. She was still slightly worried about Tari and Daisuke. "Most likely, the two of them will just skip and take a break somewhere on the premises," she thought cynically. Anyway, she wondered why these two duds hadn't found each other yet, it was so obvious. Slightly incomprehensible, Misaki shook her head and turned her gaze back to the class, which generally seemed to be in a semi-dreamy, only physically present state, when suddenly a noise next to her caught Misaki's attention.
Hana chuckled softly. The brown-haired Kohaku, as Misaki had learned his name earlier, smiled slightly at his sacrifices. "What's the matter with you guys?" Misaki whispered quietly, interested. Since Hana was obviously too busy giggling, Kohaku answered instead. "Haven't you noticed yet? A new couple should have formed this morning, and what does the sacrifice do? First collapse.", Kohaku calmly described further details of the rumor that was going around here. "She should be in the infirmary."
"You?", Misaki shot through her head. Sudden worry sprouted again in her and noticeable pallor marked her already pale skin type. "Is something wrong?" Hana Misaki's change now also notices. "No ... everything's alright ..." she mumbled softly and turned her head slightly. Even the cloudless sky and the gentle wind that rocked the grass in the sunshine could not calm her thoughts.Your mind raced.
What if Daisuke and Tari had connected? Both were absent from class. Misaki was sure that it was Tari who had collapsed. God, she felt so lonely ... Misaki looked helplessly at the clock, whereupon her eyes darkened even further. Definitely, this hour was way too long.
Alex had been waiting for Daisuke a few yards behind the director's door. "I never thought that he could be so intimidating ... somehow he doesn't like me." Alex said quietly and looked out the window. Being in such beautiful weather definitely worsened his troubled mood, that much was certain. Daisuke didn't seem to be doing any better either, but he just looked at Alex for a moment, confused. Then, however, a faint smile escaped his lips and he patted his Sacrifice on the shoulder encouragingly. "Oh nonsense, he doesn't. And now come on, we still have to go to the infirmary." Daisuke pulled Alex more or less, you could tell that he was in a hurry.
Noe sat by her partner's bed with a worried expression on her face. Her name had faded again, but the connection and endless joy had given way to concern for Tari. Seimei she had described it to her how such a connection felt, but only now when she saw her sacrifice, which she had not been able to protect, lying there looking so fragile, did she understand. Did she understand how little she had understood then. Even if she thought she understood, she hadn't, had she been dumbfounded? Another look at Tari's fragile face gave her the answer: No ... this feeling of connectedness exceeded her horizon even now, at that moment.
Loud patter, the door to the hospital room slammed open. Noe raised her head abruptly and saw, to her amazement, two boys about her age rush in. They looked around searchingly, the blonde seeming to make a more determined impression than the gray-haired man behind him.Eventually his gaze fell on Noe and finally on Tari; his determined expression gave way to horror. Daisuke stepped up to Tari's bed, dismayed, staring at her in disbelief. Without even looking at Noe, he took Tari lightly by the shoulder and shook her gently.
Noe watched all of this with growing concern, her protective instincts probably running off with her. "Tell me, am I maybe a flying ghost or am I so easily overlooked ?!" Unusually for Noe, an angry expression graced her face. Daisuke turned to the black-haired woman. He frowned slightly. He had been here for so long, but this face was completely unknown to him. His hand was still on Tari's shoulder, but he looked at Noe. Alex, on the other hand, kept a little distance and watched the two girls curiously, after all he didn't know either of them.
"Um, I'm her weapon, if you're interested, and I would ask you to tell me what you want from her." Noe seemed to be trying to keep calm. For a moment she was shocked by herself, so she didn't know herself and her calm nature at all. Was that really her ?! "Hopefully it's just because we're newly connected," flashed her mind while she continued to stare at Daisuke with a petrified expression.
He couldn't believe what he had just heard. Taris ... weapon? What began as a small hole seemed to spread through him like a great darkness, and a faint despair closed around his heart. Something in him seemed to be breaking. But why did it bother him so much? He ...
"Noe ...", a low voice made him start, the shoulder under his hand stirred. He turned his head back to Tari. Noe seemed to be looking at her too. "Nice that you're awake again," she literally beamed. A small grin crept across her face.Tari smiled weakly too, until she noticed Daisuke. He returned her gaze head-on, and Tari's first inquiring expression changed immediately. The smile faded and a questioning worry in her eyes looked up at him.
Daisuke realized it was too late. The almost anger and disappointment that had marked his face instantly gave way to horror. When was he so tense? He broke eye contact and looked slightly to the side, trying to avoid her gaze. "We ...", he pointed to Alex, "... should look after you. Are you feeling better?" Polite conversation, the only thing he managed at that moment. God, he was pathetic. He felt a questioning pull from Alex in his chest, felt his gaze on himself, but he ignored it, tried to isolate himself.
The second look he felt was that of Tari, who was still trying to understand. "Daisuke ... what's wrong?", She said only softly, and slowly got up from her bed, looked at him questioningly. It was obvious that something was wrong. Noe immediately sat a little closer to her, constantly watching her.
But Daisuke didn't answer. With a mumbled "Nice that you are better" he finally turned away fromHopelessand stormed out of the infirmary. Alex looked after Daisuke, turned his gaze again briefly to the two girls, said goodbye with a smile, while he tried to follow Daisuke, almost stumbling over the next hospital bed.
Tari watched them go. Today all of their feelings seemed to overflow, no one acted as usual ... Was it really just because of the new ties that had been tied today? Tari's face was also marked by the almost sadness that marked Daisuke's face. Both stared out the window, blinking at the sun, ignoring the silent calls from their partners. Although the sun was shining and the world was laughing, something had changed at breakfast that morning. But neither of them had the words to describe this change. Like the bonds that had changed them all and what had shown themselves strongly today, this obvious change also went beyond the horizon of understanding of the two.
