She immediately examined Hinata. Her face remained hard and was an unfathomable mask. The time in which Naruto had to wait seemed unbearable to the blonde ninja.

"Oh my god, Tsunade-sama we have to heal the damage to your internal organs immediately, otherwise ...", she didn't say it, but everyone knew what was meant. Naruto, who had already believed she was dead, was overjoyed to hear that she was still alive.

Without wasting any more precious time, the doctors did their job. It was a serious operation, under impossible conditions, but after a good two hours it was done. All major bleeding and damage have been resolved, and Hinata's pulse was weak but steady. In the meantime all surviving Konohas had come to them and feared and hoped that the Hyuuga would survive. The less injured were cared for by other Medicnins.

Tsunade rose and began to speak.

"My esteemed Konoha Ninjas! I'm glad to see you alive, unfortunately we have many victims to lament, that makes me sad, because I see you all as a part of me!" Said Tsunade. The crowd hung on their lips. "No matter what was done to us or even our whole village was torn down, there is hope. After all, we are still alive who have the will of the fire in us. We put stone by stone on the other and Konoha will shine in its old splendor !And we owe that to only one ninja and that is Uzumaki Naruto! "She proudly pointed to him, the crowd cheered and paid homage to him, but Naruto didn't feel like celebrating. Hinata is alive, but it was far too close. He made a good face for the bad game.
Everyone wanted to pat him on the back and say a few words, just praise him. But he only wanted one thing and that was to talk to Hinata alone in private, but that seemed to be a wish that was becoming a long way off.

Only in the evening were improvised tents or caves made of rubble. Hinata was moved to a larger cave that could accommodate her entire family. Naruto didn't leave her side for a second and no one protested either. Not even Hiashi.
He was holding her hand, wanting her to have a hold when she finally woke up. So it was night and the exhausted shinobi fell asleep. The moon was high up in the sky and looked like a sickle. Naruto was still sitting on the hard stone and slept the sleep of the righteous. Around two in the morning he woke up because something shook his hand.

"Hinata? Are you awake?" He whispered into the darkness and thought he was wrong when a soft voice reached his ear.

"Where am I?"

"You're safe! Don't worry, you're home." Naruto was having a hard time not getting the next crying fit, but he was so relieved to hear Hinata speak.

"Naruto-kun, I'm so happy! Nothing happened to you."

"I was so scared. I thought I lost you!"

"I'm sorry if I worried you. But I couldn't help it ... because ... because ..."

"You don't need to go on, Hinata, I now know your feelings for me," he replied empathetically. "But you still have to promise me never to do anything dangerous again! I couldn't bear to lose you."
Hinata blushed a little at his words."Does that mean ...", Naruto stopped Hinata by placing his index finger on her lips.

“You don't have to say anything more.” He whispered to her and kissed her tenderly. Hinata's tears of happiness ran down her cheeks and returned the sweet kiss. At first both were content with the gentle touch, but then they became more demanding and greedy, wanted to caress the soft body of the other and just enjoy the moment. Naruto withdrew from Hinata's lips, which were trembling with desire, and looked deep into her eyes.

"I think I love you too!"

"You don't even know how happy that makes me, because I've loved you all my life."
Naruto couldn't help but kiss her very passionately.

The two lovers forgot everything around them, even the entire Hyuugaclan who slept with them in the confined cave. Accidentally awakened, Neji woke his relatives and they eyed the young people's whispers of love. Hinata and Naruto were torn from their hot tongue play with raging applause.
