In the morning I woke up in my bed and looked around and found nothing but emptiness. Was that just a dream? Then I heard noises coming from the hallway and flying closer and closer here. The door was opened slowly and two people entered, both were smiling only I didn't understand why. "Good morning Angel." said Kai affectionately and helped Tiana on the bed. "Morning mommy." she crawled under the decks and snuggled up against me. Kai stood there and smiled, took what he had left and introduced it to me, then he kissed me and went to the other side of the big bed and came to us. "Mommy Papa and I did that for you." she said proudly as my eyes fell on the small table in front of me for the first time. On one plate of long toast and eggs on another was fruit and a coffee was next to a flower. "This looks really great." a somewhat sleepy smile marked my face. "You mommy?" i looked at her. "Yes." she grinned and hid a little behind Kai. "I won't let Papa go away anymore." she clung to his arm. "Then you have to ask him if he wants to stay, honey." I said and fished a piece of apple from the fruit plate. I ate the fruit and left the other one because I didn't really care what was warm, even the coffee I left. "Tia come on now you have to go." insulted, she trudged down the stairs. "I'm not going mom." she complained. "Tiana Joan Fukuma." I perked back. "Well then, stay here Tiana." I turned and was about to go through the door. "Papa has to come with me." she said in a tearful tone. "Papa is already sitting in the car and waiting for us." her eyes glittered again. I took her bag and she took her jacket. "Why did the ladies keep breaking so long?" he asked as I strapped Tiana on. "You just have to say that." I laughed. Dejected by my comment, he drove for a while without saying a word. "Dad are you coming to pick me up too?" came the question from behind.He looked at me and I nodded to him. "It will be possible to do that." he said. "You have to go around here." I told him. His eyes fell on a number of parents who were taking their children to kindergarten, but he particularly noticed the young woman from yesterday afternoon.
Tamara came to the car when she saw it coming, but wondered who was at the wheel, so she waited until the car had stopped and then stepped closer. "I see Lily correctly?" I just nodded and got Tiana out of the car. Kai stood behind me when I closed the door and went to the other parents with Tamara. "Tama where is Haru?" I asked her because I couldn't see her. "Haru is going to preschool soon ..." she said and then pointed to the children who were playing and Tiana was now also. "It gets more stressful for you every morning." she nodded and looked at Haruna and Tiana. "But it should be that time for you in a year." She said. "Yes, there is still time in a year." I laughed and leaned against Kai. "So your nice companion is staying here?" she grinned. "Yes, Kai stays here as long as he wants." I smiled and looked over at Tiana.
Jack stood in front of his car and couldn't believe Amber was here with a man who didn't even seem to be from here. This guy just held her insolently close to him, but he wanted to be the one who did that. The car door slammed shut and in a bad mood Jack stalked to the door to close it, he didn't say hello to anyone, he just kept walking. Jason just came around the corner and grumbled at Jack but he ignored them and unlocked the door. Jason greeted everyone warmly, as he did every morning. "Good morning Tamara." She replied “Good morning.” Jason saw her go in and someone came along whom he couldn't see through the sun. "Good morning Jason." Amber said and smiled. "Good morning Amber. Good morning to you too, Tiana." then his gaze fell on the unknown man.“And good morning to you too.” Jason held out his hand and Kai gave him his. "Good morning Jason." said Kai. Jack had gone inside to look for the right one and was watching the conversation outside the door.
"Amber can be asked who that is." I was just about to answer as Tiana. "Dad look there." Kai smiled at Tiana and looked in the direction she indicated. "Father?" Jason asked puzzled. "This is Kai Morgan, Tiana's father and my friend." I smiled again and looked at them both. "Kai Morgan is delighted to meet you. I'm Jason Johnson one of the overseers here." he grinned briefly and then opened the door again and accompanied us inside. Tiana didn't want to let go of Kai anymore when we had persuaded her to make our way back home. "Jason seems to be a kind fellow." I nodded.
The door slammed behind us, I turned and said, smiling. “I'm going to take a shower and get changed so we can go.” K nodded to me and I make my way to the bathroom. Turned on the water, took off my pants, put my blouse on and let it fall, turned on the music and let the rest of my things fall on the floor. The hot water made me shiver at first, but then I enjoyed it. Kai didn't seem to like it outside alone so he opened the door and quietly closed it behind him. The water clouded my vision so that I could not see much when I got out of the shower, wearing a towel I then stepped back a bit so as not to step on my things, because I collided with something. "I'm sorry." I mumbled. But then I asked myself why I had apologized. Very slowly I got goose bumps because two strong arms held me tight, soft lips kissed my shoulder up to the neck I couldn't move anymore.
We were very close to each other in bed. "I love you K." I said."I love you too, Angel." he whispered. "K?" I lay on my side to look at him. "Yes Li?" he smiled as he said the name. "Let's not wait another 5 years." he turned his head to me and looked me straight in the eye. "No, we won't wait, Angel." he said pulled me over to him again. My eyes went very slowly to the clock on the dessert. "What a bummer here." I jumped up looked for something to wear out of the closet and also got Kai to get dressed. "That almost went wrong, Li." I laughed and drove down the street in order not to be late after all, I took my shortcut. "Aren't you driving too fast?" I looked out into the street and just paid no attention to his words. "Angel ..." I hit the brakes. "Where you are with your thoughts?" I drove into the parking lot that wasn't far away. "I ..." I just said and the tears ran down my face my hands clung to the steering wheel. I only heard that Kai opened the door on his side and then everything was blurred.
When I woke up again I was not at home, I noticed that immediately. "Where am I?" I asked myself and yet I got an answer. "You're in the hospital, Angel." I winced. "Where's Tiana ..." I looked at him and wanted to get up, but he gently pushed me back down. "She's out with Tamara, Haruna and Ziva." he looked at me like something was wrong with me. There was a knock on the door and it was carefully pushed open. "Papa ..." Tiana ran up to him and hugged his leg because he wasn't down fast enough. "It's all good, Tia." he tells her with a smile. I closed my eyes for a moment the voices of the others could only be heard far away.
