Yukiko und Yusaku Kudo

The reason

After a long, long time something new comes from me.
And hope you like it. Thanks in any case to YoAsakura1. One sentence from him first got me out of writer's block and secondly, this very sentence brought me to this story. Thanks Yo! * grin * (ka if you can find Yo here)

Oh yes. Either it remains a completed one-shot or I'll do another chapter or two, but that depends entirely on you. Then just let me know.

He sighed as he put the phone aside.
"It's better to believe me" Yukiko stepped up next to him. "Even if it is difficult for you, please also think of us."
He looked at her sadly. "I know, but it's wrong of you to ask me to do that. I've done it for years and you've never said anything about it. Until now. Why?"
"Because the world is getting more and more dangerous. And I don't want Shinichi to ignore you too much and then make the same mistakes as you," she said, shrugging and leaving.
At first he just looked after her, speechless about what she had just said, but after a few seconds he followed her. "What does error mean here? Is it a mistake to try to find the truth? Or do you mean by mistake the fact that I put criminals behind bars and helped innocent people to freedom?"
Yukiko grabbed his head. "Yusaku, please. That was of course not a mistake. Just the curiosity that is connected with it. I mean, imagine Shinichi running after you because he wants to know what you are doing and is taken hostage or something else and you Something happens to both of them. Then first of all I stand alone and secondly I wouldn't be able to cope with that in life. "She tried to calmly explain it to him, which only made Yusaku angrier. "You only think about yourself, don't you?" he asked angrily. "You don't care what happened to me.And for Shinichi I would give my life and you know it. Nothing would ever happen to him. "
While Yusaku was still speaking, Yukiko wanted to reply, but waited until Yusaku was finished.
"If you say that. Still you won't. I don't want to risk anything," she said, let him stand and went into the bedroom without further words.
He looked after her angrily, shook his head and then quietly left the house.

He just ran around for hours. He had to clear his head. After a while he had to admit that Yukiko was right. As he passed a bar he heard a familiar voice roar. He hesitated for a moment, but then entered the bar. He didn't even have to look around to find out where this friend of his was sitting. He walked slowly to the counter and put a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Hello Kogoro. Nice to see you." The cigarette fell out of his mouth in shock. "Yusaku? What are you doing here?" He just shrugged his shoulders and sat down next to him. "Coincidence. I heard you and thought it would be a good opportunity to have a drink with you again." Kogoro looked confused at Yusaku. "How can you hear me when you are at home? And besides, what does your wonderful wife say about you being here?" Kogoro almost raved about his last words. But was able to pull himself together before Yusaku got something wrong. He knew very well that Yusaku could freak out on the subject of Yukiko and other men. And all too well. Once, he thought he remembered it was almost a year ago, he and Yusaku were having a drink. They had amused themselves, no question about it. But then unfortunately a preview of a film in which Yukiko played during her active days was shown on the in-house television. Kogoro shivered when he thought about how Yusaku had reacted when some guy started to philosophize loudly about what he was going to do with Yukiko. At first Yusaku let it go, but when another guy got in and the two talked about it, it became too much for Yusaku. He jumped up, grabbed one by the collar and pressed it against the nearest wall.
"... in peace," Kogoro heard Yusaku say and was torn from his thoughts. "What?" asked Kogoro, perplexed. He had actually drifted off. He couldn't even remember that Sora, the heavenly barmaid who always looked after him so wonderfully, had brought Yusaku a beer.
"I said you should leave me alone with this woman." Yusaku repeated emphatically. Kogoro raised an eyebrow, but then grinned. "Trouble in Paradise?" he asked with a laugh and drank his beer. His laugh faded as he glanced at Yusaku, who was staring dejectedly. "Seems like that. What happened?"
Yusaku hung his head. "She made me stop. No more cases. Nothing," he muttered, but then shrugged his shoulders. "What the heck. Let's have a drink, I'll buy one."

"That's probably ..." she shouted, slammed the front door and went furiously into the kitchen. She dropped into a chair and opened the newspaper. Every single word she read made her angrier. She couldn't even look at the picture that had found its place on the front page. Yukiko would have loved to tear up the newspaper. Yusaku, who had noticed his wife's screams and the slamming of the door, sat up. He held his head in which everything was spinning. He didn't know how he got home anymore and had a tight hangover. When he heard a clang, he looked up, slowly got out of bed and went downstairs. When he got to the kitchen he saw Yukiko sitting at the table. She rested her head on both hands. When he was about to enter the kitchen, something crunched under his feet. Yukiko had actually thrown his cup against the wall.A noise made Yukiko look up. At first she thought it was her three year old son who had gotten used to climbing out of his cot and then running around wildly. But when she saw Yusaku, she got angry. "What's happening?" asked Yusaku, who had not escaped Yukiko's state of mind.
"What is up?" she asked softly at first, but then grew louder. “What's going on?” She got up and hit him on the chest with the newspaper. “That's the matter.” After these words, she disappeared from the kitchen before she completely forgot herself.
He looked after her perplexed, then took the newspaper and froze.
"The end of the kudo marriage?
After retiring from criminal life, Yusaku Kudo seems to be getting bored "
it said in large letters on the front page. He swallowed. That's why Yukiko was so mad. Understandable way. He took a deep breath. Unfolded the newspaper and saw a picture. He and Sora, the waitress from the bar, were shown on it. Sora leaned over the counter and kissed him. Yusaku couldn't remember it with the best will in the world. However, he was very happy that you could see that she had only kissed him on the cheek. He swallowed and went to read the article.

After less than 4 years of marriage, it seems to be over. Well-known writer and respected detective, Yusaku Kudo was having a good time in a bar in Beika business district with a woman who was definitely not his wife. Yukiko Kudo, née Fujimine, an extremely talented actress who gave up her career due to her wedding to Yusaku Kudo, will now regret it, as her husband was seen and photographed in a clear pose with a still unknown woman (see picture ).
As we have learned from a reliable source, the reason for the separation is clear: His wife had forced him to say goodbye to the life of a detective. This was too much for the author, because only a few hours later the time had come and he had another one. There are still no expressions of the kudos. But is this still necessary at all? We will probably soon be able to expect a divorce and a custody battle over their son. Maybe with a new wife, Yusaku Kudo?

Yusaku put the newspaper down and shook his head. Could that be true? He got up and wanted to explain the matter to Yukiko. But she stood with a suitcase in front of the door and put Shinichi on.
"Where are you going?" he asked quietly, not knowing that he would regret the question.
Yukiko looked up, picked up Shinichi and said sadly: "I'll make room for the new woman Kudo"
