The consultation was over and it went well for Luna, he wanted to tell her now, but when he stood in the door he just had to smile. She was asleep on his bed and looked beautiful, he sat on the other side of the bed after putting her things on her bag. "You shouldn't have left, Luna." he whispered. Luna snuggled up against him but continued to sleep, he held her tightly, stroked her hair and closed her eyes.
It was quite early when Luna woke up, at first she didn't know where she was but then she recognized the surroundings. She turned her head slowly and saw Toni very close to her, it was strange for her but then she started to like it. A faint noise came from Toni when he seemed to wake up, she closed her eyes again and laid her head back on his chest. He smiled when he looked at her, brushed a strand of hair from her face and sat there for a while. Then he looked at the picture on the table under the window, he and Luna had always been friends.
Luna moved in his arm and opened her eyes, she looked around. "Good morning sleepyhead." Toni grinned at her. "What do you mean sleepyhead?" she asked but also had to grin. Both stood up Luna took her things and changed in front of him, his gaze fixed on her back when he saw what kind of tattoo she had on her back. So she really got a tattoo when she was in the States. "What's so interesting that you stare at me like that?" she asked when she got dressed. "Your tattoo is interesting!" he returned. She looked at him and smiled slightly, then turned back and rummaged in her pocket.
Everyone was sitting in the kitchen and talking, only Luna didn't speak much, she thought about what to do now because she was no longer allowed to dance. "Miss Taylor, I have to tell you that your career as a dancer can no longer continue." she couldn't get these words out of her head."Luna are you still there?" she winced and looked up. "I'm sorry was in thought." they had seen worry in their eyes. "Excuse me, please." she said and got up. "She looked sad, don't you think so?" Tina asked, everyone nodded to her.
She stood by the hung door and listened to them. "Toni you look like you know something that we don't know." he shook his head when a telephone rang. "Fuck it." I mumbled softly. "Yes, please?" I said when I answered it. "Luna where are you?" asked Colin. "You can get me Colin." I said and hung up. Everyone had heard that and asked their questions, I stood in the door and looked around. "He slept with someone else, maybe not just one!" I stated and looked at the floor. A couple of arms hugged me tightly, that smell that was Toni, I looked up at him. "Everything will be all right again, I promise." I could just believe him why I didn't know.
The others had their jobs and were on the road to get their money at the end of the month. Luna saw it in a cafe in the city center and dreamed something, she didn't know what to do. She couldn't keep it from Toni for long, he had always been her best friend, she didn't want to risk that. For a few minutes she thought about it, but then got up, paid and went to the cinema, which she knew nobody would find here.
There was only one film on at the time and she definitely wanted to see it, because it had a lot of memories for me. "Luna?" a voice called from behind her. I turned slowly around the her voice didn't seem familiar to me, the wind blew my hair in my face so I didn't see much at first. "Just say you don't recognize us anymore Luna?" she looked questioningly at the two women. "Already clear it was too long ago." said the second. I stood there and seriously wondered who they were. "Miss you paid for the film so please come!" I gave them a friendly nod and then went to the cinema."She doesn't recognize any of the old gang anymore, Alice." she nodded. "Yes, the way it looks, Caro." the two of them stood there for a while and looked at the cinema. "Maybe the boys are luckier than us." Alice said and pulled Caro with her in the other direction.
It was a good decision to watch the film. I took a deep breath in and out in front of the cinema until I was on my way to meet Toni and his friends. "Luna ..." one of the guys waved to me calling my name out loud. "We hope you don't mind that we have already ordered something." I shook my head and sat in the open space. "Tell me where are you actually?" i just did hm. "Luna you were meant." I twitched a little when a hand touched my shoulder and looked up. Toni grinned cheekily down at me and then looked at the others. "She must have seen a movie." his grin widened. "How do you know that?" I asked him. "It's your favorite movie, Luna, and as your best friend, they know it." it was as if not three years had passed, just a few months. "You should know that." I said and got up. "I'll be right back." I left my bag with them but didn't notice what had fallen out of my jeans skirt pocket. When I came back to them all had sad expressions on their faces. "I have to talk to you about something!" he said, dragging him away from the others.
