to do what I think is right. Ah there he is in front, I accelerated my steps and ran to the fountain when I was standing in front of it I stopped and looked at it. No sign of Kagome to be seen yet. "Sango ... please listen to me!" I heard Miroku's voice behind me but I didn't respond to it I didn't want to hear what he was saying. I felt a hand on my shoulder and he turned me around. Now I was standing right in front of him and looking into his deep eyes. "Miroku I will tell her no matter what you object to it" I said coldly. I had to be cold otherwise he would still manage to change my mind in the end. "I think Sango is right, she needs to know." I looked behind Miroku and could see Shippo who had apparently followed us. Thanking him for sticking to me, I smiled and nodded at him. I looked back at Miroku who continued to fix me with his gaze. "You are right ... but we should teach her gently. And maybe not immediately when she comes out ... let her come back first." I looked at him astonished and I would have expected everything but for him to agree when I tell Kagome I would never have thought.
"But when we look back in the village she also sees who is still there, we couldn't do that to her, we'd better tell her here." "No, we'll tell her later!" "No, now she has to know." " Later "said Miroku again and was about to turn around to leave when he opened his eyes wide I turned to see why and there she was.
When I got to the well I heard voices. It was Miroku and Sango, what are they arguing about again? I slowly climbed up and the words became clearer and clearer "No, now you have to know" I heard Sango say in a desperate voice.I climbed very high. "Later" came Miroku's determined voice. He was about to turn around and leave but then he found me coming up the fountain. I could see his eyes open in shock, then Sango turned to me, I smiled at her, but she also looked shocked. What's going on here.
"Kagome you're back!" Shippo's voice rang out behind miroku and the little fox jumped happily into my arms. With Shippo in my arms, I sat up completely and looked alternately at Miroku and Sango. "What do you want to tell me?" I asked curiously. I could see Sango throwing an insidious look at Miroku who only returned it with shock.
"Well, don't know ..." Miroku was about to start but was interrupted by Shippo.
"Kikyou is back ....." my eyes widened and I looked at the two of me questioningly, but before either of the two answers could Shippo told everything.
"Inuyasha smelled Naraku and so we followed the trail. When we arrived there we found him and Kikyou he was about to kill them when Inuyasha intervened and now they are both seriously injured and are lying in Kaede's hut"
When it ended everyone looked at me expectantly. But for me nothing moved, not a single muscle wanted to move, the only thing that happened is I widened my eyes and stared past Miroku and Sango. I didn't even realize them anymore, I couldn't believe it. "Kagome, I thought we'd better tell you right away," I heard Sango's soft voice but I wasn't able to answer her and so I was silent. Slowly I noticed that my stiffness was loosening and so I put Shippo down on the floor and started walking. I didn't care that I left a confused Sango and a horrified Miroku behind, and I didn't care that I just left my backpack there. I only wanted one more thing and that was to get to the village and so I ran without paying attention to what was in front of me. So it happened that I ran into something, I fell to the ground "Ahhh ... au my butt" when I got up and rubbed my backside in pain, I opened my eyes and looked into wonderful gold-yellow eyes "Sesshomaru .. .. "He raised an eyebrow and just looked at me disgusted. Yes, I knew he didn't like people but this look made me angry even though I wasn't used to anything else from him. I got up when I was fully upright I was standing directly across from him. He still had his eyebrows raised and his iron mask on, as always. I was just about to say something when he ran off and disappeared into the next thicket. I looked after him confused and then I remembered Shippo's words. I felt how it gave my heart a little stab ... // He is hurt because he wanted to save Kikyou .... why now // I let my thoughts run free and my tears are now running down my cheeks were looking for.My feet gave way and I sagged to the ground again ... why now .... why is she back ..... why now .... those were my only thoughts at that moment, I couldn't think about anything anymore After a while my dream came back to me. It was about Inuyasha fighting Naraku and Sango and Miroku taking care of Kikyou. Did this dream prepare me for what might happen to me when I come back here. I decided to see Inuyasha even if he was injured because of Kikyou. So I got up and went to the village, when I got there I entered Kaede's hut. Sango and Miroku were already there. They were just explaining to Inuyasha that I ran away. But this one looked past you and looked directly at me. The anger that was just there because of what Sango and Miroku had said disappeared immediately when he saw me. I felt joy emerge instead, so I forced a smile and stepped up to Inuyasha. He got up and took me in his arms. But it wasn't like usual, it wasn't so warm and joyful. So I pushed myself away from him slightly and looked him in the eye. They were sad and profound. I haven't seen a look at Inuyasha for a long time, I'm sure it's because of Kikyou. Sango and the others just watched us and were silent, everyone in the room could feel the overwhelming atmosphere, so it was probably better that they were silent. "Kagome ..... it's nice..to see you .... again" He looked at me sadly but my look didn't change in any way normally I would have been happy about these words but not this time. I looked at him coldly and penetrating .... his gaze spread to the sadness of deception. Disappointment about looking at him like that, I knew that. But I didn't even think about changing that look. I wanted to know why it is now. "Kagome please .... get it !!" when he said this he looked away from me first at the floor then at what was to the right of us. I followed his gaze and there was Kikyou. She was really badly wounded but I had no pity for her. On the contrary, I felt a slight satisfaction rise in me, which shocked me but I didn't let it show. So I looked back at Inuyasha who could only slowly avert his gaze from Kikyou and at that moment it became clear to me ... he didn't want to be with me anymore .... I pushed myself further away from him and loosened the hug all. I looked at him again. In his gaze pure sadness and despair was too late. I turned to Sango and Miroku. "Would you please come with me?" Sango seemed to understand me immediately, she nodded resolutely to me. So I went ahead of her from the hut. Sango, Miroku, Shippo and Kirara followed me. I didn't care that I left behind a sad and bent Inuyasha I wanted to get away and I wanted to find Naraku."Good evening Kagome" I looked up because my eyes were on the floor in front of me was Kaede with the little Rin who just smiled at me happily.
"Good evening Kaede" So I greeted her and went on with the others
"Do you want to go again? You all just came back here recently." said Rin and ran towards us. I just smiled at her and nodded to her. "But why do you want to go again?" she asked again she was standing right in front of me but I didn't want to answer her and I was glad I didn't have to because Sango answered her. “We have to go and try to find whoever did this to Inuyasha.” She deliberately didn't mention Kikyou's name because she knew I didn't care what happened to Kikyou. Kaede watched the whole thing excitedly, I hadn't mentioned a word in the hut that I was looking for Naraku and so I was sure that Kaede would tell Inuyasha this. Rin looked at us with big eyes but then she nodded and cleared the way for me to go on. So at a late hour we made our way north in search of Naraku.
We've been on the road for weeks now, but we haven't found any trace of Naraku yet. I changed from day to day I noticed that .... I became calmer, more reserved and also more listless. Not a day went by that I didn't think about Inuyasha. We sat by the campfire and rested and when I looked into the fire my mind wandered back to Inuyasha I couldn't get what the others were talking to. // Whether Inuyasha is better again ..... Whether he followed us .... or is he now living with Kikyou ?? .... // I felt really sick at the thought. "Kagome is everything all right with you?" Miroku's voice tore me out of my thoughts and my nausea ... I looked up at him and nodded, he just looked at me more questioningly than before. I knew they all got it with that I was very closed off. But I wanted to sort my thoughts for myself first and so I got up. "We passed a hot spring earlier, I think I'll go there" No sooner said than done, I went to my backpack and took out washing clothes. Sango was about to get up and join me, but I waved him off "Don't be angry with me Sango ... .but I want to be something to myself. " I smiled at her and she smiled back at me, nodding. So I went towards the thicket, I knew the spring was not far from our camp. So I walked around in the forest and actually not far in front of me I could see a clearing with a large waterfall, yes there was the source I wanted to go to.When I got there, I put my things down and went into the spring, I put my washing kit on the edge with a towel, I leaned against a stone and looked at the sky. It was just sparkling with stars and a crescent moon was visible in the middle of the stars. I looked at the moon for a while, then all of a sudden Sessohmaru came into my head because he also wears a crescent moon on his forehead, but not only these eyes, you don't see those eyes every day. Inuyasha has the same eye color and they both have such deep eyes but they are fundamentally different.
