I sighed. How nice the weather was today. It was noon. I made myself comfortable in a restaurant, at a table by the window. I was sitting right in the sun, waiting for the waitress to bring me my latte macchiato and looking at my hands.
At the table next to me sat a middle-aged man. He looked over at me and smiled at me. He turned to me and greeted me warmly. The man looked relatively good, but wasn't my cup of tea. I spoke to him out of politeness, but indicated that I was not interested.
Even if he didn't interest me he was very nice. Today was really a great day. Nice weather, a nice restaurant and a nice conversation partner. The only thing missing to make everything perfect was my latte macchiato.
