Saria woke up very early and since she knew that Lisa would not let her out today, she left before Lisa was awake. She wrote a letter and put it on the table.
Good Morning
I'm in town, don't worry
I stay away from houses.
I'll be back for dinner.
Greetings Saria
Then she went out. Although it was very early and the sun was only just rising, many people were already out on the streets setting up their stands, opening their shops, or going out into the fields. Saria strolled a little through the streets and looked at this and that. As she was walking down the steps from Marktlatz towards the river, she slipped on the slippery steps and plopped down the remaining two steps. As she got up she thought that from now on she should stay away not only from houses but also from steps. She sat down on a wall and examined her abrasions on her hands. “My goodness, you can't be left alone for a moment.” She turned around and looked into Lukas' face, who was grinning cheekily. She jumped off the wall and answered. “I can manage very well on my own.” Turned around on the spot and wanted to leave. "Wait a minute, it wasn't meant like that. I'm sorry," he said quickly and grabbed her hand. She turned to him as quickly as she had turned away and smiled at him. "I know," she said simply. And enjoyed the expression on his face, which was now turning red with anger. "How long have you been back?" she asked him to distract him before a tomato could be jealous of its color. “For about an hour,” he replied, and his face lost color again. "How is it in Lotena?" she asked and looked at the river. “There is pure chaos, you haven't seen anything like that before.” He shook his head. “A monster seems to have been seen there recently.” She smiled, “Let me guess, a mighty monster with wings and horns and fire coming out of its mouth.” She knew the stories and legends about dragons well. But he shook his head. "That's what I thought at first, but people tell of a being that walks on two legs. It has mighty horns on its head, but no wings and no tail. Apparently it looked like a human being when you look at the horns and because claws disregard. "She looked at him astonished. “Do you think this creature exists?” He stared at the river for a moment and then said. "I don't know. It sounds strange, especially this strange ability you are supposed to have." "Ability?" she asked. He nodded. "Apparently these creatures are supposed to have the ability to make themselves invisible." He shook his head. “Isn't that silly.” “Yes, very silly, even she agreed with him.” Then they leave it and talked about what they should do now. But they couldn't agree.Lukas wanted to collect more information about this creature that Saria represented as a waste of time. And she would rather look after the boy they had helped recently, but Lukas didn't want to know anything about that.
So they made a compromise Saria looked after the boy and Lukas listened to the gossip on the market square. They then wanted to meet at the fountain.
