The wind got stronger and blew through the streets and through Kasumi's blond hair that went up to her waist. The temperature sank lower and the warmth that was still radiating from the sun at midday could hardly be felt any more. Even the sky suddenly turned an ominous color of black. Thick storm clouds were gathering.
While looking for Luffy in the streets of Logue Town, Kasumi noticed that people either fled to their homes to find shelter from the storm that was gathering, or headed for the Great Main Square.
'Why do so many people run to the scaffold? With the storm that is about to rise here, they should take shelter. she rebuked the crowds inwardly. She also wanted to imitate the sensible citizens of the city and seek protection and thus give up her search for the time being when she heard fragments of words from two men who ran past her.

She stood at the end of the crowd that had gathered around the scaffold and watched the area. The first thing she noticed were two people standing on the execution platform. One seemed captured while the other laughed triumphantly.

`But basically I don't care, because the very thought of looking at it makes me feel sick. How people can watch such a horrible kind of death of another person is a mystery to me. '
With a disdainful look at the onlookers, she turned to go. After a few steps, however, she stopped abruptly. She turned and let her gaze wander over the square. She strained to continue searching the place. Then it started to rain heavily, which didn't make the search easier for them. But suddenly her eyes remained fixed on one point. She looked at the marine soldiers who had hid further up to watch the action. `I knew there was something wrong here. There's a navy base at Logue Town. Why didn't I notice earlier that there are no soldiers around who want to prevent this spectacle. Except .... `
"I will be the future king of the pirates!"
This exclamation made Kasumi's train of thought disappear and she turned her attention to the scaffold from which the words were coming. A bright flash of lightning illuminated the surroundings that all present had to close their eyes. The execution platform fell like a felled tree and was nothing more than a pile of scrap iron. The actually executed stood up as if nothing had happened and he put his straw hat back on. Kasumi's eyes were fixed on the boy's hat when she realized who the boy was."Monkey D. Luffy ..." she said quietly to herself. The straw hat and two other people who apparently came to his aid ran through the crowds of people to disappear. She was irritated because she hadn't noticed the other two because she was probably too absorbed in her thoughts. From every side street that led to the square several units of marine soldiers poured out to take the pirates prisoner.
´Damn ... I took too much time! If they recognize me here then it could be uncomfortable
She just wanted to take her legs in hand to disappear when she decided otherwise. She turned her back to the straw hat and his comrades.

Inwardly, she blamed herself for insane ideas.

Kasumi grabbed the handles of her two swords attached to her belt with her hands. First to the right with the left hand and then to the left with the right hand.
"You are a swordsman?" came a little astonished from one of her companions. From the corner of his eye Kasumi saw that he also had swords and green hair. She just nodded to answer the question.
" What's your name?" then asked the straw hat.
"It doesn't matter, I just call them angels." it came from the others who are blond and apparently unarmed. Kasumi ignored the blonde and now looked at Luffy
"Kasumi ... and you're Monkey D. Luffy, aren't you?"
