next to Ran, who had imperceptibly opened her hand and was looking at the contents with a dreamy smile.
"Ran, does it hurt a lot?", Kazuha asked her friend.
"No, that's okay," smiled Ran, rubbing her wrist, back: "Was that enough?", she mused aloud.
"Well kla. You have made it exactly halfway," came the male side. It was Heiji from the beginning. He ran next to Shinichi, who had his hands buried in his jacket.
"But it's organized somehow stupidly. It's pretty close to organizing something like this just before the holidays," said Kazuha.
Ran nodded.
Together the four high school students entered a sushi bar in which they sat down. A young lady with her hair tied in a bun took her order: "What can I get you?" Asked the young woman, in a beautiful and bright voice, friendly.
"Yes. We would like a mixed platter of nori rolls, inari and sashimi," said Heiji, looking at the others for approval, ordering for everyone.
"Not so loud!", Tokyo's detective snapped at the Osaka man: "At least that's what Ai said when I caught her -" Shinichi broke off in mid-sentence.
Horrified, he looked at the opposite grandstand. He got even paler and froze:
That ... that can't be ... Oh no! it shot through his head, startled.
"Shinichi", Heiji nudged his friend from the side: "Hey?"
"The man ... nn!" He just stuttered.
"Man, what man?"
"The one over there!", Shinichi pointed in his direction: "Gin!"
"What? Gin? You mean one of those who shrunk you?"
"Yes! But what are they doing here !?"
The two detectives looked at each other desperately.
"Here, take my cap!" With these words, Heiji quickly put his cap on him.
Hopefully they didn't find me! Shinichi feared.
At that moment the blond man stood up from the opposite side of the grandstand.
Oh no! Did he discover us? both immediately asked themselves.
The detectives watched as the man in black with the long hair left the hall.
Immediately resolved, the two followed him.
Gin's way led into the hotel's parking garage. There he looked around briefly and then began to call.
The two detectives hid behind one of the numerous cars. Shinichi rummaged in his backpack. He pulled out his glasses and a tracking device. The two looked conspiratorially at each other.
"Always everything with you, eh?" Said Heiji, amused, who understood immediately.
"But how do we distract him?" Shinichi wondered feverishly.
Hattori grinned at him.
"Well, with this!", He had picked out something suitable.
Shinichi returned the grin:
"Ah, the well-known bottle trick."
"Admittedly," admitted Heiji: "A bit unimaginative, but quite useful," he said.
With that, the two of them crept as close as possible to Gin and his black Porsche, using the protection of the cars.
While Heiji threw the half-full water bottle, Shinichi quickly placed the transmitter under the driver's seat through the half-open window. Then he hid again and texted his friend to let him know. Shortly afterwards, the two saw the member of the organization get into his Porsche and drive away.
"We just have to stay within range now."
"No problem. I have my motorcycle with me. It's just around the corner."The two of them ran there quickly, climbed quickly and followed the man in black.
The two had already had the Porsche in their sights for a while when Shinichi heard the doorbell ring and heard Gin pick up: "Yes, it was there. The detonator is prepared for 6:31 pm and the rest is done by itself," Shinichi heard the black devil, who grinned contentedly.
Detonator? What kind of detonator? he thought hard.
“What do you hear?” Heiji turned right around an intersection.
"Sh ...", Tokyo's detective hissed at Kazuha's friend in concentration.
"How far are you?" Asked Gin of his interlocutor. He laughed happily: "That works out well, then everything will go according to plan at the Yushohai."
What? In the yushohai? Shinichi was horrified: Damn it! He glanced quickly at his watch. That was already in less than half an hour, as he realized with horror.
"Oh no, Heiji! This is Ran's Hotel!"
"What?", On command, he turned the motorcycle and raced back as fast as possible in the evening rush hour. As a result, the connection to gin was broken.
Oh no, Ran!
Kazuha!
Shinichi first tried to reach Ran and then Kazuha via cell phone.
"And?" He heard Heiji ask nervously.
"Nothing! You don't answer. Neither of them."
"Damn it!", Osaka's detective accelerated his pace again.
When the two finally reached the said hotel, it was already too late.
The smoke could already be seen and firefighters' serums could be heard. It burned!
Both Heiji and Shinichi jumped off the motorcycle, with the machine tipping over and falling to the ground with their helmets. The detectives rushed to the Yushohai Hotel.
Both dodged the firefighters who were already on site and they tried to stop. They came right up to the entrance.
There they were held back by two fire fighters each. Shinichi managed to tear himself away vigorously: He disappeared into the burning building ...
"Let me through!", Heiji snapped at the three young firefighters who prevented him from entering by blocking his way and pushing him back
"Let go of me!", The high school student tried to assert himself energetically: "Let go! Let go - let go of me!", He struggled to defend himself against the men in protective clothing to get closer to the burning hotel entrance.
One at a time would then certainly grab his arm. The third firefighter stood in front of the high school student and continued to block the detective's way. Heiji protested against him: "Let me through, damn it! I have to help my friend!"
The fire officer calmly pushed the high school student back further and further.
Heiji made another attempt to tear himself away, but this failed too. Desperately he wanted to go the other way. But even that was not allowed to him.
Helplessly, he shouted at the fire fighters again loudly: "My friend is still in there! I can't just let him down! What is so difficult to understand about that !?"
All he could see in the eyes of the firefighter standing in front of him was sincere regret when he said to him very calmly and clearly: "You can't do anything!Stop it! Leave that to us. "
"No!", Heiji shouted and tried to defend himself again.
But the man pushed him back quite definitely by holding him by the shoulders and pushing him away from the building: "Stop it. You can't go to the hotel now. You can't! Do you understand? It's far too dangerous."
Heiji's stubborn eyes met those of the firefighter, who looked at him seriously and affirmatively while he remained professionally calm.
"No, no!", Heiji protested and shook his head before falling to the ground in resignation.
He sat there, exhausted and breathing hard. Furious, he grabbed some dirt, which he threw past the firefighter. Meanwhile, like his colleagues, he also knelt down to him.
One of the three fire fighters stayed patiently next to him.
The detective waited concentratedly until the firefighter stood up: "Katsutoshi, please take this boy away from here now," another firefighter asked his younger colleague.
He nodded and wanted to take the high school student with him with a relaxed grip. The man to his left was also inattentive, which Heiji immediately took advantage of. He freed himself and stormed off to the side of the building.
He ignored the calls from the fire fighters. But all too soon he saw for himself that he could no longer go into the hotel. It was clear to him that Shinichi hadn't been able to stay in it either. In his conclusion, he must have escaped the flames through one of the numerous windows. At least that's what Heiji hoped, which is why he hurried down the side of the hotel. He kept calling out to Shinichi. But nothing. There was no answer.
Heiji looked around the race: where the hell could he be? he wondered until suddenly stopped. He had covered him up: "Shinichi!"
As quickly as his feet had carried him, Osaka's detective had reached his friend lying on the grass.
Heiji immediately leaned down to him: "Shinichi? Shinichi !?", he addressed him worriedly.
But the detective called showed no reaction. Unconscious, his friend shook his left shoulder slightly.
Heiji understood and sank down next to him: "Damn it, Shinichi!"
He immediately checked his breathing and pulse on his friend's carotid artery. Relieved, Kazuha's friend then leaned back a little with his arms supported. Exhausted, he wiped his sweaty forehead.
He looked around. After a cursory glance at his watch, he began to turn Shinichi very carefully onto his back. Then he stood behind him and cupped his shoulders and neck so that Shinichi's head was held. Then he carefully lifted his upper body from behind and bent it forward. Heiji supported his back with his knees. Next he reached through his armpits, angled one of his forearms and grabbed it from above with both hands.
Shinichi was pulled onto Heiji's thigh, shifting his body weight backwards and straightening up from his knees. Then Heiji went backwards with bent knees and pulled Shinichi away from the still burning hotel with stretched arms towards a thicket within the park.
Behind the thicket, Kazuha's friend bedded him carefully on the grass before he put him on his side.
When he was done, he leaned against a tree next to him. He quickly took his cell phone out of his jacket pocket. He dialed, heard the dial tone and waited anxiously for someone to answer ...

In Japan, the new school year officially starts on April 1st.
As you have probably already noticed from the dates, I am violating Ayoma Gosho's time organization in this fan fiction. Time flies
