Hello everybody!

So this is my first published fanfiction. The thought about the story has been in my head for a while. By the way, the title is Japanese and means 'two worlds'.

I would look forward to suggestions for improvement, reviews, etc. very pleased. And it may well be that there are a lot of misspellings in the text because I write with my cell phone. So have fun reading and I hope you enjoy the prologue!

Prologue - A strange World

My head was pounding. It felt like someone was hitting it with a hammer. My eyelids were heavy. I couldn't open my eyes. Trying to remember what happened was a big mistake. I felt like my head was about to explode. Then at least the pain would be gone. They got stronger. What was going on? Why didn't the memories come back? What happened? What should I do?

/ What the fuck is going on here? / it echoed in my head.

I wanted to go back to my bed. In my cabin. On dad's ship. Speaking of the ship. Was i on one? No. Unfortunately not that I should have felt. My devil powers would have sounded the alarm. But where was I then? Even when everything was foggy and the pain didn't give in for a minute, I could feel the hard ground. It wasn't cobblestones, it was flat. How I would like to be with my father and his crew now. I would even listen to the annoying sayings from Yasopp. Or listen to a lecture from Uncle Ben again, that is why I am much too young to drink. After that my father would just laugh and say: "Oh come on Ben! The one bottle doesn't matter!" My "uncle" would then just sigh in annoyance and light a cigar. I would even dance to Bink's rum with Lou

~ Flashback ~

"That can't be true! First it says 'alcohol makes the pear get' and five minutes later they're drinking again. They can't even make it back to the ship!" I cursed loudly. I had been looking for the crew for what felt like hours, as the honorable gentlemen probably didn't manage to get back to the ship because of all the drinking. Odiots. You couldn't say more to them. I liked them all, but the constant drunkenness just gets on my nerves. The poor people can't even give away anything!

A loud bang got me out of my thoughts. It seemed to be coming from the north side of the archipelago. / Weren't the boys partying there yesterday? Great ... / In my mind I kept cursing myself why I went there. But what should you do as the only one who hadn't drunk anything. How I hated that.

The strange looks that were on me while I was on my way, I skilfully ignored. For my 20 years I already had a sizeable 500,000 bounty. 000 berry. Sure, I owe part of it to my father and part of my mum ... but I made the rest of it myself.

The all too familiar voice of my father made me startle, especially since it was full of worry, as never before: "Mel, what are you doing here?Get out of here now! This is too dangerous. Run away, little one! "
Shortly after these words were uttered, his opponent spoke:
"Shark D. Melody, huh? It's been a long time since you've been here, so you can be part of my plan!"
"I definitely won't. No matter what your stupid plan is! You're just a cold killer, Sakazuki." Although I tried to make my voice sound hard, it didn't quite work. Instead, the person addressed just grinned maliciously. He took a kind of dial out of his pocket. At least it looked like this and said:

"Since you asked me so nicely, I'll explain my grandiose plan to you!"

My "uncle" always used to say 'cockiness is seldom good'. However, after a short pause he continued.

"Well, this dial is a one-off custom-made product by Dr. Vegapunk. The dial can" teleport "selected people into a - unknown to us - world. Six people. And of course there is also a way back, but I don't think so naive to believe I would tell you. You are probably asking yourselves 'What for?' Quite simply, I'll take six strong, influential people and send them to another world to eliminate the pirates. "

A shiver ran down my spine. Eliminate? Is he crazy? Now some things became clear to me. He wants to destroy the largest and most influential pirar gangs and thus also the balance of the world. Damn, he's insane! Pirates want to be free and that's why he wants to kill us. This baka should really be stopped!

"I don't want to say anything more to the selected ones. Except that you, Shanks, and your daughter, Melody, will go with me. I think then it will probably be goodbye!"

My father and I were about to reply when Sakazuki, also known as Akainu, turned on the dial and met us with it.

The last thing I could hear was the crew singing

"Captain Bink's wants a rum,

When the memories came up, I shot my head up to see two bright lights racing towards me. What went wrong now? What was Kizaru doing here? And why did he attack me? Panic sprouted up in me when the 'thing', which apparently wasn't Kizaru after all, made a high-pitched noise. Then there was a screeching sound in front of me. The 'thing' opened up somehow and a human got out. Moment! A person got out !?

Something irritates, what does something mean? I looked around. A lot of these 'Kizaru things' were moving next to me. That's crazy! On the opposite side were huge gray houses. If you could then call it a house. On my right was a weird red thing. But I couldn't figure out what it was. I startled. Suddenly the man who was in the 'Kizaru thing' came up to me.

"Excuse me. Are you okay? Sorry but I don't speek german. Are you hurt?"

What did he want from me? Was he kidding me? What was he talking about? I grabbed his shirt collar and said, slightly angry: "Listen to you weirdo!Either you talk to me normally or something happens! "
The guy stammered something else, probably an apology. I got tired of it and went on my way to look around. Occasionally I saw parents with their children. A mother actually tortured her own child! It was moored in a seat. On wheels? I went to the woman and tried to free the child. The woman then started screaming. In between I could say 'Police, help!' perceive.

I walked on, shrugging. Of course I gave the child to another woman. Just get away from the psycho-aunt! On the way I thought of Dad. He had to be here too. I made it my business to look for him.

Huh? District? Okay now I was completely confused. As I went on, I thought about the current situation. It was maddening.

I am in another world somewhere.
Sakazuki wants to wipe out the pirates.
My father is in this strange world too.
In addition, there are thousands of 'Kizaru things' here.
And last but not least, I have to run away from angry men who want me to come to a precinct.
