young man can only make out the headless bodies of two men. They slurp their meal noisily without talking too much.Once more that night, Gaara frowns. This one person in the dark clothes evokes recognition. He knows this person, but the tired brain refuses to spit out the corresponding name. The solution is so obvious that Gaara is aware of that.
Meanwhile, Sakura pushes herself into the small ramen shop and falls into one of the remaining chairs. After a moment of pause, the man follows his companion and now his mind also decides to resume the activity that has been granted to him. "Kankuro? And, um, Killer Bee-san?" He stares at the two men in disbelief. His brother was here in Konoha and he didn't know about it. The redhead briefly feels hurt, but then his mind decides that he is too exhausted to worry about the fact that his brother, who should actually look after the village in his absence, is together with the kumo. Gakure Jinchuuriki eaten calmly in Konoha Ramen. And that in the middle of the night.
Groaning, he signals the ramen seller Teuchi with a wave of his hand that he would take the same thing as Sakura. Even before the hot noodle soup finds its way to its hungry owner, Bee and Kankuro say goodbye, partly amicably and partly incomprehensible. Gaara, for his part, has more trouble following the rhymes of the Kumo ninja. Every time he remembers that Naruto doesn't seem to have any trouble with this style, he admires the Chaos Ninja a little more.
Lost in viscous thoughts, he missed his brother's explanation to go to sleep now. But he doesn't think that's too bad, after having a full sleep of his own, he can still deal with the fact that his older brother was hanging around in the wrong village. Just like the weird rapper.
A little later, Sakura says goodbye to her companion, who seems to be more and more absent. After all, the otherwise formal Kazekage hadn't said goodbye to his brother, Bee or Teuchi. As farewell words to her, the man only mumbles something about "I was wrong, it's not normal here", before he shuffles along the street, looking quite confused.
As the Kazekage stretches out his tired bones on the soft bed, the first tentative rays of sun tickle his skin. Confused, he takes a look at the sky, he hadn't noticed how the sun had risen. But it doesn't matter either, he decides. He's on vacation, who should stop him from sleeping during the day?
Exhausted, he puts an arm over his closed eyes to shut out the brightness. His resigned mind has just fallen silent, Gaara sighs relieved and lets go to slide into the realm of more than deserved rest when there is a knock at the door.
"Hey Gaara, get up! Let's go to Ichiraku for breakfast!" Growling, the Kazekage turns with his back to the door. He's revising his opinion on Konoha. Instantly.
Security, calm, normalcy. Pah.
On the spur of the moment, he locks out the outside world and pulls the blanket over his head. Should the world turn on without him, he'd had enough of this madness for the time being.

So that's the result of a nocturnal obsession. Hope you liked it. :)
By the way, here is the concept of the OS (with used characters and interactions, sponsored by my beta moonlightkiss, who didn't know what she was doing.)
